    I needed this, as I was like you. I saw ETM as aerobics and was more sports based but with age, dance really appeals to me so I find myself revisiting my ETM manuals and chasing aerobics classes to build my confidence. Thank you again ❤

    Hi! I just came across your channel and I'm so thankful I found your videos. You're so motivating and passionate that Its pushing me in the direction of getting certified as a spin instructor. I fell in love over the summer with spin and just about everyday I imagine getting out of my shell, sharing my passion to inspire others. When I do take the leap I will look to videos for encouragement . Be blessed and thank you!

      Yes Whitney... GO teach! People follow Passion, not perfection, so all you have to do is start! What area do you live in?

    I just started with classes and I'm having a hard time packing my class with people. I'm doing my best but it seems there is no much results and it's disheartening 🙃 hopefully it will improve with time #fingerscrossed

    Great stuff - one pointer regarding high-fives -- usually in a workout, people's hands may very well be sweaty, and some people may not feel right about a high five... telling them to give a high five as the only option may make them feel uncomfortable -- give them options.. a high five, a fist pump, a salute, or "say good job to someone"...

    thank you so much for this really great advice!
    I have a video request, will you make a video about how to be assertive and a good leader in group exercise? you seem like someone who can really own a room. also do you have any tips on what to do if someone distrupts the class or starts talking? much love 💜🌞

    • @katyJmeuer
      @katyJmeuer  7 років тому

      Yes, be happy to make one. Curious though, are you looking for tips on how to be confident as a group ex instructor regardless of people walking in or out of your class, or how to "own the room" as a group exercise instructor and lead with all the distractions?

    • @MrEleanorw
      @MrEleanorw 7 років тому

      Thank you so much. Yes I think I'm really looking for advice on owning the room. I feel like I've never had to be in charge and lead people, some people just have this energy where everyone pays attention and takes them seriously and that's what I need to work on.

    Katy outside of Beach Body do you have any certs for group exercise that you recommend?

    • @katyJmeuer
      @katyJmeuer  7 років тому

      What is your favorite way to work out? Cycle, weights, cardio?

    • @DrewCost22
      @DrewCost22 7 років тому

      Mine is weights first then conditioning.

    • @katyJmeuer
      @katyJmeuer  7 років тому

      If you like weights, I would look into BodyPUMP, GroupPOWER, P90X, or maybe even CrossFIT depending on what area you want to teach in also.

    • @DrewCost22
      @DrewCost22 7 років тому

      Oh sweet. I have some CrossFit Certs. With those outside of a CrossFit box you cannot advertise with those.
