I don't know why people keep comparing poppy playtime to actual mascot horror games, as much as it has a cute cover, there's a deep ocean under it. What I would say that compares to garten of banban is how they focus so much on the merchandise and are only doing it for the cash, but I would say poppy playtime stills a classic
Something to note, happys humble burger farm came out a year ago if not longer, so I feel like instead to use games that were great and were made in the last few months and are being worked on still… I’d say Amanda the adventurer, shipwrecked and Andy’s apple farm

@@skelebonez1349 Fair enough, maybe when the full game is out I'd like it but the initial game isn't very good, just because it prioritizes story over gameplay, plus typing words when prompted isn't very fun, especially when it doesn't really make sense. Something I wanted to mention that EnchantedMob (mainly the higher ups of the company, not most of the people who worked on Poppy Playtime as they are perfectly fine) did some pretty awful stuff in the past. I just wanted to let you know.
Honestly I think the issue is the overreaction in the community. If nobody made such a big deal of banban. it wouldn't have got as popular as it did. it would have been here for a week and people would have moved on. Just like many other horror games before it. but people making it out to be the next coming satan himself was the issue. They gave banban the popularity it didn't deserve. all publicity is good publicity no matter how negative people will still buy into the product. I also have reason to believe these youtubers knew full well what they were doing and only choose to make there videos blowing the situation out of proportion just to get views off negative content. cause lets be honest ever since FNAF SB launched negative mascot horror content has blew up in popularity.
Hot take: I like neither games or their creators, Garten of Banban is self-explanatory but there’s also the whole thing about them apparently making games before about mass shootings? Idk. Poppy Playtime has also always been a game that wasn’t my cup of tea because of the creators due to many things like NFT’s, the Ekrocoaster situation and the one that made me dislike them before chapter 1 was even released, their overly commercialised channels that were doing nothing but pumping out bad content for the sake of views and money. The game itself isn’t anything special to me personally but if people find something special in either of these games I can’t complain, in the end they’re just indie games.
