Warmest thanks for your comment. I fell in love with the parts of Spain depicted here, and of course with Rodrigo's exquisite music! Very best wishes, Ant
Thank you very much for your comment. The facade you cite is in fact the fabulous Art Nouveau doorway to the Museo de Art Nouveau y Art Decó at Salamanca, Spain. Within the city walls, it dates from around 1908, and it's fascinating to learn of your observations. Kind thanks.
Alas not Andres - the mountain mist was too dense and we reluctantly travelled back down the mountain. However, we were privileged by ibex en route to "safety" :) Hugs back, Ant
Amazing images. As a visual artist I found something here that has intrigued me. At the front of the Cathedral starting at about 2:01. The vertical abstract figures, there are four seen here on the beige columns of two on either side of the door, and they appear nearly as exact to the human figurative images that the Abstract Expressionist painter Mark Rothko painted into his Slow Swirl at the Edge of the Sea in 1944. Google the painting name. Also similar to my fathers art. -Mark Seibold

I believe this version was recorded around 1969. Have you uploaded parts 3 and 4 with the same conductor and orchestra? Thanks.
Did you visit Santa Teresa's Monastery?

exactly... this variation of the main theme is so exquisite....brings a sharp feeling, like pain, at the point where our heart is...
