Another problem with Project 2025 is that the DNC won't campaign harder against it. All they're going to do is point to it and say to the voters, "If you don't want that, vote blue!"
The DNC still believes if they win, "nothing will fundamentally change." If they lose, they beg for donations as a way of 'resisiting' to another Trump administration.

I used to be moderate, and I have good friends that not only vote republican, but will vote Trump. To them, he's the proverbial brick through the establishment window. To me, he's an arsonist.

People are not enthusiastic, but he has been effective in his term. The economy macro is thriving. Where he is not a progressive, he is doing things that are adjacent. At the presidential level, we live 2 party. We can change that eventually, but for now, he is the strongest candidate of the two. Criticize his mistakes, absolutely, but laud his accomplishments as well. When I hear you speak about how weak his is, I feel that you think the country is in turmoil. I heard you say that it wasn't. If he is doing good, let us make him be better. If he isn't, we get him out. There is only one threat to democracy in this race. If we could have better election systems this would be easy. What that world would look like.
