l have lived and worked on Guam for 23 years. best place on the planet to raise kids and work and enjoy nature. guam is not hawaii, it is a great place to visit and enjoy.
Hafa adai from sunny AZ. Thanks for making this video... brings back a lot of childhood memories. One of my favorite fruits as a kid was Iba but it got harder and harder to find the years between my visits.
Wow We call it "sireguelas" here it's good to dip in salt. "Atis" or sugar apple reminds me of my province Maguindanao. Starfruit or "Balimbing" to us aside from fruit can be used as recipe for cooking like "pinaksiw" and fermenting/pickle it also. Soursop or "Guyabano" to us? wow 😍 And of course mango or "mangga" the all time Pinoy fave fruit and also recipe for cooking like "sinigang".
some name of the fruits in Guam are similar in the Philippines like mangga, papaya, atis, balimbing, (star fruit) the guava they call it abas, in Philippines is bayabas. kalamansi, the banana is different they call it aga, in Philippines is saging. see u Guam.
Guam is anything like Hawaii. It is not at all beautiful and there are not much local fruits produced here. If you visit here for a short vacation it is fine but certainly not a good place to live. So many petty crimes and not so clean places everywhere. The road condition is terrible so you have to be careful with your car tires. Most rental car insurance won't cover damaged tires and windshield which will tell you, high ratio of car vandalism and so many potholes with no street lights. The government is so corrupted so they don't spend much budget on improving the road conditions or placing street lights. So many areas even on the main Marine Corp drive are too dark in the night. However, the electricity bill for ordinary people is sooo high. My friend living alone in a small two bedrooms and not much cooking pays about $150 for power and $50 for water per month. Can't imagine where all that fund disappears because people still have to experience high frequency of power/water outages.
You seem to focus more on the issues of staying in guam, and the living conditions. i see nothing but negativity from your end, Either you're from hawaii or The states. *your face has all that written on it* pregidous much? as a human being you should be ashamed for saying such things, true hawaii is beautiful and all. however hawaii has it's fair share of Problems.

Because Spanish sent there fruits from Europe and latinAmerica....Ciruela, mango, Papaya,Durazno, Banana,Guayaba...
@@rhodium1096 wrong ! there's no mango, papaya, banana, guabano or tropical fruits in Europe, unless they import it.
they sent it from Southamerica and ciruela from Spain
ln Malaysia They also call belimbing for star fruit and mangga for manggo
If your from Guam the size and color of the Mango don’t matter yan it taste good pickled or just by its self😋
Siniguelas are Hella good. If I remember correctly they would not be green when ripe.
It might have been a good idea to cut into each of the fruits you introduced everyone to!
The names of the fruit are similar to Indonesian, some are even the same
Siniguelas= Ciruelas in Spanish and some people pronunce "Siruelas"...
I now them eat all them!!

I am surprize about what you say. On the ,,street wieu,, aplication i see a good road in the Guam, Saipan and American Samoa islands.
