It's very interesting seeing people make good profits from trading, I wish I could but I always end up losing after my trading.

It's very obvious that forex and crypto trading is one of the profitable money exchange services that elevates investors and their financial status.

I will advise you to seek the help of a professional because it’s really hard to create a strong professional portfolio. This will help you to achieve your goals and long term financial objectives

That's true,. Its really needful for beginners not to settle for videos alone or they will see themselves losing all their money just like me when I newly started trading with this videos here on UA-cam.

Many won't accept this truth but allow them, they'll understand when they become bankrupt as a result of unavoidable losses trading from mere UA-cam videos.

While the majority of comments have been positive, there are a few jerks who over generalize, exaggerate or outright lie. We don't kill tourists as a habit, the majority of cops are honest just like the rest of the US, and any place you live is what you make of it. There are good people and bad everywhere on this earth. I lived on Guam for 29 years and if I wasn't living in Mexico, that's where I would be. It is far more dangerous to live in the continental US with daily kidnappings and murders, mass shootings, and gang activity. I love you Guam!

      Mexico probably sucks ass right?

    • @corinnelopez66
      @corinnelopez66 10 років тому +3

yo!nacca, nacca Actually, it's awesome. Why do you assume that it sucks? Women can walk alone at night here without worrying that they will be kidnapped, raped, and murdered. People are happy and friendly. This is why people need to travel. So they can find out what the world is like for themselves instead of stereotyping people and places out of ignorance.

I spent a good amount of time in Guam in the 70's, there was almost nothing there. This video blows me away. I remember the jungles, the ocean and giant African frogs, as well as coral roadways and only maybe one major hotel. The Sheraton I think. Calls to the US could cost as much as $30 a minute as satellite was the only option. On the plus side, absolutely the greatest snorkeling on the planet and amazingly beautiful. Worst attribute: Guam is the most humid and hot place in the UNIVERSE! IMHO, but if the not #1, at least in the top 5. But, I still love Guam as it is truly a gem. :)

Spent 3 years on Guam I was with USCG MIO/COTP. It was a dream job I held a privileged and prestigious tour. This was in early 1970's. After my discharge I returned to Guam and with a good friend ran a seaside bar in Merizo,😢 unfortunately it did not work out, I left but was determined to return, for I loved Guam and found love there, unfortunately that too, through my own stupidity did not work out. Here 2024 I never did make it back. Now struggling with spinal cancer my days are numbered, leaving me but one regret in my 73 years, messing it up with the only one I have always loved. I know she married but nothing more.....Jovita Perado the most beautiful person I have ever known. Jovi I never did marry, how could I. I've had a successful life in construction and I've raised thoroughbred horses, enjoyed my singles life always with Jovi on my mind and forever in my heart.I can't complain cause I did for nearly 4+ years of my life was with the best and living on a beautiful island.

My how Guam has changed since I arrived in January 1964. My ship was based in Apra Harbor and Guam was my home port for a year. I arrived at the municipal airport in Agana on a 4-engine prop plane that required an 18 hour flight from Honolulu. I had heard about the development of tourism in Guam but did not realize the extent of it. Always enjoyed excursions around the island. I miss Guam. Thank you. I miss Guam. My ship USS Brister DER 327 was based at Apra Harbor in 1964 when I boarded her and Guam continued as our homeport until the end of the year. I enjoyed your presentation on the island and its Chamorro people. It's hard to believe all the development that has taken place since I left. I used to enjoy renting a car and driving around the island on weekends. It's one of the more beautiful islands in the Pacific.

Shane McCauley - Shane I agree. I only spent one year (6th grade) there but it was awesome. Since then I've lived in Washington state, California, Utah & Arizona and traveled through most of the Western states. I can't count the hundreds of Guam stickers I've seen attached to glass or bumpers. For a little island in the South Pacific, there sure are a lot of people who have been there. And I've even run into Chamaro who decided to move stateside. All the best to you.

There is an outlet mall where the Gibson's used to be. The ITE phone booths for long distance calling are no longer around. There's a big mall in Dededo/Harmon area. But the people are still great and I want to go for a visit.

@@tubes5150 -O. K., here we go again. I arrived on Guam about Nov 1947. Remember crossing the International Dateline on my birthday, Oct 24th, as a result, did not have a 18th birthday, it was lost, as you lose a day. Arriving on Guam was an experience. It had just went thru a battle in it's retaking. With the naval ships offshore shelling for days, weeks, the Air Force bombing around the clock, it was a mess. This all happened in '44, but the ruins still remained. There were crater holes everywhere, always filled with water as it was the rainy season. Most buildings were in ruins. The sea bees were trying to get things back in order, but to make matters worse, there were enemy in the jungle, living in caves in the hills, not even knowing the war was over. They would come down at night and raid the warehouses, looking for food, clothing, guns, ammo. Anthing they could use. Worse, during the day a sniper would take a shot at someone on the base, a marine unit would go looking for him, most of the time they would bring him back, dead, they would not surrender. They would drop leaflets from aircraft, letting them know the war was over, perhaps some gave up, don't know.
The runways were pock-marked with craters and were being repaired or replaced with longer ones to accept the new B-29 Superfortress. I was stationed at Harmon Field, was Hgtrs. For the 20th Air Force, the group that dropped the A-bomb on Japan. There were two other fields on Guam, North Field, the B-29's,
Northwest Fierld, a fighter base, P-51's and P-47's. Harmon Field was MATS, Material Air Transport Service, they flew back and forth between Guam and Japan, bringing special cargo such as radio equipment, aircraft parts, was a long flight from Guam to Japan, flew C-54's, 4 engine transport, made by Douglas. Great plane. All the enemy planes that were on the runways, hangers, were pushed into the jungle along side the runway and the jungle was reclaiming them, as the vines were starting to enclose them. At night, while standing guard duty at the field, you would hear noises comming from the area of these planes like someone was working on them to try to get one running. Would stay in the shadows of the hanger so as not to expose yourself . Never knew if they were armed. Wouldn't be surprised if there still aren't traces of them as they never decay.
This is just a touch of what it was like in the late '40's. I have rechecked my spelling, but remember, I am 90 year old now, so am not perfect. Maybe more later. Altho I have forgotten more than I remember.

Was stationed on Guam from approx. Oct. '47 to Apr. '49, Stationed at Harmon Field. Was a A & E mechanic. Was in the Air Force. About twice a week, at sundown, when the ocean breeze would settle down, two C-47's would fly over at tree top level, wing tip to wing tip, spraying for mosquitoes. The island is about 30 miles long and 8.5 in N, 11.5 in S. miles wide. Other days, When the weather was nice, two fighters, a P-51 and a P-47, would put on a show in the skies over the island. They would go into their "dogfighting" routine. Each would try to get above the other and position themselves to shoot the other one down. While the P -51 was superior, the P-47 was no slouch. The Thunderbolt was very heavy and if it got above you, it would dive on you at a tremendous speed. Was interesting to watch these two guys, as it would go on for about an hour. I would say these were WW11 fighter pilots, as they each knew what they were doing. And, what they were doing paid off, for the Korean war was just around the corner.

I was stationed on Guam at Andersen AFB from 65-67. There's been a lot of development, Guam was not so magnificent back then. Only had one TV station (black and white) that ran old reruns. We used to have to take a boat or snorkel out to Cocos Island on the south end. I understand now there's a bridge and the island has developed. Never saw any brown snakes back then, but lots of those large toads. They were especially bad during the rainy season when the roads were wet. Gotta go back one day before I check out.

My family Got on a WW2 navy troop transport and moved to Guam in 1957. I was almost 2 years old and don't remember the trip. All my memories begin there. Both of my parents worked civil service (PWC telephone). My dad got sick and the doctors at GMH(Get Me to Hawaii) couldn't figure out what was wrong with him so he flew to the big island (USA). Terminal cancer. I had to leave. The first half of my life(30 years), and now I live in a city (ugh). The second half of my life has been 30 years of being homesick. I warn everybody to be careful. If you go there you could fall in love with Guam and never want to leave.

What is now the International Airport was once Harmon Field, a MATS base. I was there from 1947-1949. What is now Andersen AFB once was North Field, a bomber base, B-29's . This field was used to bomb Japan in '44-"45. Another field, North West Field was also a B-29 base during WWII, but became a fighter base (P-47's) after the war. Took an A&E course at this field in 1948.
. Harmon field was headquarters for the 20th AF,which I was part of. At one time, I once passed this way.
    Robert E. Harris
    S/Sgt. USAF
    Hdqtrs. 20th. AF.
P.S. To see Harmon Field from 1947, go to Google, ask for Harmon Field, Guam, 1945.
