Obama actually came into office and on day one tried to change the status quo. And day one the GOP got together and decided to block everything Obama was asking for. And these were things that would have helped every day Americans. Things we were cheated out of because the GOP wanted to block and stay in power and this has been their strategy ever since.

Mitch McConnell brags about blocking Obama. McConnell led the GOP to block everything that Obama would do, tried to do, wanted to do… He publicly spoke about this and how proud he was that anything that the Obama administration wanted to do he would make sure the GOP would block. This!!! This is the GOP. They don’t care about the people, not even their own constituents, as long as they starve the government of funds and repulse anything that is thought to be of “benefit” to the Democrats. I am so sick of this. I’m a long standing Republican (did NOT vote for ex-president) and I’m ashamed. And I will be voting BLUE on my ballot this fall.

Obama never actually cared about executing anything progressive he talked about. He had a supermajority and could have put through Obamacare without any of the changes that corporations wanted.
Trump got elected because he started mimicking exactly what Bernie was saying, but without any idea of what it meant or how to implement it.
The US is not a democracy, the courts ruled that the Republican and Democratic parties do not need to have fair elections, because they're private corporations not bound by electoral acts until the general election.
Every one of these presidents worked for the entitled ultra-wealthy and their corporations not for the people.

So this video will go to a large collection of video's . But my favorites is 2 letters from Cousin Jimmy and a signed family reunion book with a detailed history of the 12 children of Wiley Carter and their descendants . 1200 came to the 3 day family reunion in Plains which cousin Jimmy took 1 year and a half to put together . Clinton was 46, Obama was 47, and Carter was 52 when they became Presidents of the US. There needs to be an age cap mandate for both Presidents and Congressional seats in our country. I'd venture that 75 be the age when you have to be OUT of office. So senators can't run after they turn 69, presidents can't run for a term after 71, and House reps are cut off from running at 73. True, anybody can die in office at any age, but the odds are much higher after 75, as our average life exectancy in the US is 76. It may sound ageist, but it is also smart if you want leaders in peak physical/mental form. Besides, there are age minimum requirements to be elected for all these jobs: you have to be 25 to be a House Rep, 30 to be a Senator, and 35 to be President, and those ages were mandated when the average lifespan of an American was 60 years old. Maturity is helpful: infirmity is not.

He was probably convinced TFG would fade away or be successfully impeached after jan 6, which might have resulted in his retirement at the end of his first and only term.
