These are glorious. I did several test batches with different butters, too. Lol, I had the same results, just a different skin feel. All were slippery, soaked in beautifully, and set up with trace. I put coffee beans in mine and use them on my legs after shaving. Absolutely devine.
Hooray, I'm so thrilled you're loving these! ❤️ Thanks for DIYing with me, and happy making :)
@HumblebeeAndMe You are very welcome! Thanks for the recipe.
Please share your current daily skin care ❤ I am curious which diy product you use for daily basis
Awesome video, Marie!! Thank you for your incredible videos!
Thank you so much & thanks for watching!
Hello, I found your channel recently and I am really happy and amazed by this beauty. You are so wonderful. Can you make us a cream with glutathione and vitamin C to lighten the skin?
Hey, don't forget the liquid lipstick tutorial, thanks so much Marie
I've been working on liquid lipstick formulations on & off since 2017 and still don't have anything I feel is worth sharing. You first asked 3 days ago-if your need is that urgent I suggest referring to TKB Trading's free formulation :)
No, no its not urgent. I just like how u explain it cuz it understandable
And please share using your formulation okay, thanks So much MARIE
I tried using ChatGPT before finding your channel to recreate the Kate stones and it (probably wrong) suggested only 40% cocoa / 30% shea to keep it in a solid form while leaving room for sufficient % of great oils (marula, rice bran, etc). Do you find that 95% butter is a minimum for staying solid?
I would love to make this but as an bitter how would I go about that?
Great video! So, I love the massage bar or lotion bar with the cetyl alcohol in it. How does this compare? Thanks!
This one stays on the skin much longer with an oilier feel-better for massaging than for a simple apply-and-done :) Happy making!
Humblebee & Me do a true massage bar. Got it! Thanks. I love the other one that I’m talking about. The body butter bar. Have a great day!
Thank you for the detailed video! I would like to add coconut oil to this mix; what quantity would you recommend?
I don't recommend it; this is a very precisely balanced formulation and if you add a new ingredient you will almost certainly have to re-develop the entire formulation. You can read the blog post for more information: www.humblebeeandme.com/cinnamon-cocoa-massage-bars/. Happy making!
Clever ice bath!
It's a trick I learned from Formula Botanica!
Hi Marie. Thanks for the recipe. I live in the tropics (33-35 °C) and ideally I'd not like to store these in the fridge. Do you think the addition of cetyl alcohol and/or beeswax will help with this?
I'd probably start with cetyl alcohol-it's got much nicer skin feel for this sort of thing :) You could check out my sugar plum body butter bars for some starting point! Happy making :)
@@HumblebeeAndMe thank you !
Hi thank you for sharing your video! Can you double the formula?
Yes you can! You'll find links to help with that in the blog post that's linked in the description box below the video ;)
Hi! Where do you get your mixing tool from?

Can u make a pain reliever rub that includes CBD Powder n CBD Oil, Magnesium Oil, Camphor, Hemp, Comfrey, Arnica, menthol n butters, preservatives, oils????
I have no plans to work with CBD at this point as it is not legal or readily available in much of the world, sorry.
Magnesium oil are not oil is just misnomer , but you can make oil/butter based rub without needing any preservatives but you need antioxidant in it . (vitamin e)
do you think you could pour it into a deodorant style container?
This method has me going "aha!" About some of my grainy products. Thank you!!
That should work! And yes-there's so much in the technique realm that can help with graininess, which is both awesome and sometimes very frustrating, ha.
