The tunes are familiar, but they sound different from what I remember on a Sound Blaster 32 in DOS and in DOSBox. Some parts seem very out of place. I guess I'm used to OPL3 FM and this is using wavetable synthesis.
Well, you probably had OPL2. I think that OPL 3 was only with Adlib Gold, which DOSBox doesn't support, at least in 0.71. This soundtrack is using GXSCC. I'm not sure whether it's emulating an Adlib-like device or using its own samples.

I still get chills listening to the Lord of the Dead theme (though this is a different audio format than I remember).
