Stunning bike The extra range is great means i get to work and back all week on one tank. - Centre stand isn't standard and the grey buttons and reset on the left bar are for the rally mode on the dash (way point count downs). Themes are dash only not rider modes.
Hay mastiff1011, thanks for letting me know, sometimes the bikes don't make it easy to work out what's what :). Ride Safe.
I own the normal Tenere......next month is the WR coming ;-) The suspension makes the drive a lot better....and to watch that fuel tank.....Love it!!!
It certainly is different that's for sure. I like it when manufacturers try something different. Ride Safe.
I love this thing for some reason
Something a little out of the ordinary with its looks and ability maybe?
These bikes are growing on Mr. The more I see them the more I like the look of them.
Needed to be able to take it off road to really see what it can do. Ride Safe.
Very entertaining and informative review. I'm not going to believe you about the decent power on the Tenere 700 until I test ride one myself, though. I have a Tracer 900 now and I'm expecting a drastic drop from that punchy eagerness of the Tracer's engine.
If you've ridden an MT-07 you already know how it'll feel with just slightly more low end
Let me know your thoughts when you’ve ridden this, id be interested on your opinions. Much of a difference? Ride Safe.
Really fancy one of these but can't bear to trade in my Africa Twin AS which is such a great bike. Maybe next year.
Personally if keep the AT at the moment. But i suppose how much off road riding you are doing as this will be more capable than the AT in my opinion.
What a shame bike is awesome but not for short peeps ! Loving the dual fuel tanks 👌
No, you would need a step ladder for sure. Thanks for the comment Debs xx
Needs 90+ HP and - 10kg and I'd be keen as.
Easily sort this out once you’ve bought the bike, new exhaust with a few extra changes would drop the weight, air filter and an ECU tune would give you the extra ponies. Ride safe.
@@DSR1YT wishful thinking. No way you will get 90+hp from the T7 even with air intake, full system and flash. 75hp at the back wheel maybe. The KTM is 105hp stock however that is a 890. 210kg wet. Yamaha need to go back to the drawing board IMO. I'm actually a Yamaha fan but they need to just copy the KTM and make it reliable. Something the KTM lacks!
It's a 700cc off road bike and you're complaining because it hasn't got 90 bhp +. Behave yourself. 😢
Centre stand is not stock 😢
Good to know 👍
