Maximum the Hormone are legends and very influential in Japanese metal. Highly suggest the mv for Yoku Fukushu to see them and explore their soundscape. Note the band Nemophila did a cover of this song during Covid from their homes and it is glorious.
I hope you do more of them, they are definitely a band that has influenced other Japanese rock and metal bands. If i could have everyone in the world react to one song by them, it would be Yoshu Fukushu.

Japans 3 great consistent all lady metal bands in no particular order. Lovebites, Nemophila and Hanabie should all be on your list to check out. Hanabie started out in high school playing Maximum the Hormone songs and Nemophila does 2 sick as covers of MTH as well as their own original great tracks. Lovebites and Nemophila are highly skilled musicians. Hanabie just completed a very successful support tour with Limp Bizcut in Japan and Australia and New Zealand. Im sure you will love these bands. Japan has hundreds of great metal bands. Many all lady groups as well. The saying goes metal/rock didnt die. It just moved to Japan. For MTH try Koi No Sperma live.

They are fire. A highly influential band in Japan. Their time changes, riffs, genre flips & breakdowns are awesome. You should check out the all-female gtoup Hanabie. They were heavily influenced by MTH & have a very similar music structure. Their drummer, Nao, inspired quite a few Japanese woment to become drummers, Like Tamu from Nemophila & Akane from Band-Maid (2 awesome bands).
all MAXIMUM THE HORMONE member is a vocalist, the Guitarist Ryo is mostly doing Clean Vocals, the Drummer Nao is Ryo Older Sister also doing some vocals in the song, another Vocalist and do Mostly the Scream part is Daisuke-han, and last one is the Bassist Ue-chan he's doing some vocals too, but not as many as the other member, if you want to react their other works i recommend u do their Yoshu Fukushu Album & Bu-ikikaesu!! Album which is their Metal side or u can do Rokkinpo Goroshi Album which is their Punk Side.
Saw them live in Japan in Nov. Great, great set. I was fortunate to be close to the rail. The only problem was constantly getting kicked in the head by all the crowd surfers coming up from behind me.😆

Guitarist doesn't do most of the rap/screamo parts, he does some, but he does the cleam male vocals mostly. Daisuke does the harsh vocals
