Yeah it's funny to think they wrote a song about you Dashy before you were even born.....They do sing sleeping my day away through the whole song.....and the other part you couldn't hear was Now my daymare is over I zip my jeans tight

The sound of my childhood. The very first concert I heard sometime in the eighties was with D-A-D in Denmark. I have been to their concerts several times since, as they have toured extensively in Denmark.
I don't think there are many Danes who can't sing along to that number 🙂

Its kinda impressiv that this song came out in 89... that be 1989.. And Jesper can STILL holding the note to this day (2023)

@@DashyXDAndDadReacts 1989 was a huge year for hard rock bands D.A.D offered something different whilst still feeling like a snug and worn pair of comfy slippers, most hard rock hair/sleaze bands were at their pinnacle before grunge almost wiped them out, poor old D.A.D sort of got lost in the furore of anti hard rock as did many other great bands, at this point i still shed a tear to this day 😭. The band Masters of Reality were a pre-cursor to grunge and their debut album (89) The Blue Garden introduced us to an earthy blues ridden, dark but glorious sound that was revered by the press (Kerrang/Metal Hammer/Raw) but not fans so much, two years too early, anyways what i'm trying to say is give this a listen, it's bloody good, sorry i rambled a bit.

The Cartoons came in with this album and was part of their lunch to get big in the US, but at the same time this little band called Nirvana and grunge was the new black, so they couldn't compete with that and gave it up.

I would have asked you to please go watch Nothing Else Matters | Hele Danmark fejrer kronprinsen | DR1 , by Metallica but you already did the music video for that as well. but this live version is crazily different and was performed at the Danish Crown Prince's 50'st birthday.
