    in every method i was like:
    ok it starts to look like fur.
    ok now it doesnt look like fur at all
    aaand now it looks like fur again
    aaand it's gone....
    annnd it's up again.
    ok it's finished.... is it? yes it's finished.

      Suncho actually every drawing disappoints me. In the beginning it's beautifully detailed and contrasted and then she ruins everything by just making the fur being all black or brown. In the end it's beautiful, yes, but what's the point with making such an effort if she just colours everything in the end ?

    • @shazinboots
      @shazinboots 6 років тому +57

      It adds depth. If I draw something and use just two colours it shows. Layering and building multiple tones really makes a difference. It's the key to a good piece of work, anything good takes time and patience 😊

    • @Kimseyiikgdjaj
      @Kimseyiikgdjaj 5 років тому +22

      She is doing to many steps for a result with indirections. We cant say it is wrong or right.
      It is her effort.
      But the result is well done.

    • @kaiiico373
      @kaiiico373 4 роки тому +5

      @@agisa123456789 actually by doing alot of steps it gives more depth, a more realistic look, and it gives more of a less grainy look. but if you want a realism/illustration type of drawing, then yes you can stop at the beggining :)

    is there any way you could show your reference photos in future videos? if I wanted to draw brown fur, for instance, I'd want to get out a brown pencil the exact same color. I'd be interested to see how you get from the photo to the first layer, second layer, etc., if that makes sense.

    this is honestly really inspirational and helpful, I really like your videos, i hope i could one day become a great artist, lately I've been kinda unmotivated to draw, i have so many ideas but its like i get tired of making the same mistakes I always make in my art, its like I try too hard or overthink things because i wanna improve but if i make a single mistake I give up on drawing it. I am not exactly sure what to do, I always go back and re-watch your videos to get something out of them but I feel like I'm the problem to everything, I feel like I have to change everything about myself to even overcome the little things and it doesn't seem to work, I always go back to doing nothing and only stressing out. I'm still trying because of people like you, you seem to really care about art and helping other artists and I am grateful for that (:

    Many years ago (about 30) I was doing watercolour with colour pencil over the top, but was told by the 'watercolour expert artists' that 'that is not the way to do art' so I gave up doing that technique.
    I have found that many of the things that I did years ago are now 'the way to get results' and I am a little sad that I was told off for doing what I thought was the way to get results faster.
    I feel cheated that I was right all those years ago and I should have never given up my artwork. Now I am doing art again my way and if feels so right!

    Your an incredible artist. I didn't do art at school and don't have the time or funds to go to art lessons so your videos are a great help to somone like me learning by my mistakes. I got some prisma colour that ie never used so I'll try this. My drawing skills are pretty good as in accurate but adding the colour isn't as easy as it looks lol. Thank you for this upload I can't wait to have a go. I'll upload to my Chanel when I have :)

    Yes! I needed this! Also, I love the Prismacolor Premier pencils, I own a set myself and they're really good for layering light and dark colors

    This is absolutely brilliant, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I’m a new subscriber so going over lots of your old content as I am not artistic in the slightest! I have recently got myself prismacolour pencils, I so wish I could afford to get a few luminance but on a Carers pension as I care for my disabled daughter it was hard enough to save for my prismas! Maybe one day! 😍
