Would you be able to compare A73 with the S22 Plus and A53. i want to buy one of these but its hard to choose. The S22 plus in my country is nearly 4 thousand dollars and the A73 And A53 available in my country yet. So i would love to the comparisons between them so that i can finally make a choice if possible.
I was torn between the S22 Ultra and the iPhone 13 Pro Max but when I saw this beauty including its practicality, I just bought it right away. Not only did I save a lot of money but I get to enjoy a midrange device with almost flagship level specs for a price that's a third of the S22 Ultra. Everything is great so far and I'm happy with my decision.

The A73 5G is basically the 2022 version of the A52s 5G. Really glad I was able to get the A52s weeks before the Ax3 series was launched because I was able to get one for the equivalent of $430 for the 8GB/256GB configuration while the A73 is being sold at $573 for the same configuration. Also, the A52s still had a charger and case out of the box :D
I still have my A70 I bought new unlocked. It's a South America version. It came with a case , charger , cable , 3.5mm earphones, 128gb SD card. It still looks and works like new. Battery is still perfect and it has a very good camera . I'm very happy how this series has progressed . For the last 2 yrs I've used the LG V60 and this year I got the S22 Ultra 512gb. My first choice would have been the LG V70 if available, then a 256gb or 512gb pixel 6 pro . Sucky Google only brought 128gb models to Canada until this month , then we only got the 256gb as the top tier in Canada because Google doesn't care about Canada. My third choice is the S22 Ultra . Only because of available storage sizes . As it turns out , I'm quite happy with the Ultra and it's amazing zoom . I never imagined it to be such a total game changer in how I take pictures and shoot video.

Personally, I think, 120Hz refresh rate screens on 'Midrange' phones is somewhat OTT. Think. For decades, we have viewed, touched, swiped and operated 60Hz. So a 90Hz panel already feels, as they say, 'Buttery smooth'. So going on that if you pay 1000 notes for a 'Flagship' with a 65+ Watt charger etc, then yeah ok, 120Hz. But, for the every day folks, 90 WOULD be the 'Goldilocks', you could have it turned on all the time, have great battery life, and modern silky smooth screen. The SD778G chipset is nothing to be sniffed at, it's quite a capable SOC (it also plays VERY nice with a 90Hz panel). I SERIOUSLY WISH Samsung would just STOP installing (or at least ALLOW people to FULLY UNINSTALL) their own multiple clone apps of the Google apps (that Google does WAY better), maybe just have the Samsung 'Galaxy App Store' installed if needs be (so users of those Samsung apps could still download them if they wanted)... IF they did, I would switch to a Samsung phone in a heartbeat because they DO make some serious hardware. It's just there is NO NEED for those clone apps sitting unused in the background with no way to save space, clear the clutter and delete them on most of the phones they sell.... My ultimate phone would be a Samsung S22 Ultra, running Pixel OS (or even Nokia's Android One platform), stock, a great bare bones platform to start customising from, and, as it's light (lack of bloatware) the phone's hardware would be at peak performance. THAT'S why I loved my Motorola Nexus 6, Nokia 7 Plus and 8 Scirocco, always ran at peak performance WITH very regular and timely updates.... 😏 😎🇬🇧
I'm just gonna say my opinions towards this phone. This phone is just a Galaxy A52s 5G, just lacks a charger and a headphone jack. And, one more thing. They also removed the telephoto lens just for the sake of marketing the 108MP camera, which is considered stupid to me, because it's something that maybe most photographers could need. The bigger camera cutout. And the inflated price tag for a phone that is essentially a same phone with little differences. Just awful. I don't want 120hz, the additional "plus" on the SUPER AMOLED, and 5G. I just want a phone that has more features, such as the headphone jack, same 5000mAh battery with slightly less battery consumption due to the 90Hz screen and an extra camera on my Galaxy A72. The conclusion is, I am not upgrading unless the next A7x phone gets released with a better additional camera.
Interesting analysis! The A52s 5G and A72 last year were a weird crossover, and this A73 5G sorta feels like a combination of both. I’m not sure what direction Samsung will take with these phones, but it is weird to see a constant add & removal of features like cameras, headphone jacks, etc
@Carl Gunderson and I take pictures on my phone mostly, still don't have a proper camera, I'm telling you that. But I think having more lenses on a phone is better than having to buy a separate camera which you have to physically change lenses if you want a different shot in every pictures.
Nice job… hopefully this will come to the states at some point but I do kind of wish they’d stick the SD card support in the A series phones that would definitely separate it from the S series.
3:20 Why is it that the A73's punch hole camera is bigger than the A53's punch hole camera? It would have been nicer if the A73's punch hole camera is the same size as the A53's, making it less distracting on the A73.
Great review, coming from a s20FE with the common cracked camera glass issue I find it an upgrade in most areas, not a big gamer on phones do that on PC, all I needed was a nice Ringke case and a olixar wireless charging adapter to make it complete, and I can add a sd card later when required not like a s21FE
Yes, you'll notice it. My friend just upgraded from the A71 and is raving about the A73, especially the stereo speakers, the cameras and the speed of the screen.
7:55 yeah I have the a71, got it at launch. The battery is built like a brick and has hardly degraded lol. But like 1x-2x it just becomes really slow for like 5mins
A disgusting move from Samsung, by removing the charger and the back cover, as well as removing the 3.5mm headphone jack for the middle class phones, and even the processor, there is no update on it. The a52s is the best option on the market right now
Great video If I imported a samsung a73 5g unlocked from samsung USA or india or asia to the UK, would the 5G connectivity still work on a english sim card? Thank you

For me, the A series is a very nice add for people who want the looks and the feel of a flagship for the price. But the hardware while being high end sounding isn’t really the best and getting an S8 or S9 over a A73 is a better buy since it’s got less features but it’s better optimised
you kidding, right? the S8 and S9 are so old now. i would not recommend them to anyone. i have the S10+ and even that is lagging now on android 12. i would suggest at least get the S20 series at least if you want to save some money and still get updates and also lots of the newer features.
@@farraelena4570 the S9 may be a 4 year old phone but it does take better photo and video, higher res screen and if you’re looking for a phone with software updates just get an iPhone. The new SE and old X/XS are way cheaper now
@@lukemichealhaynes153 "just get an iphone" 🤣 i suggest you upgrade your S9 to at least an S20 to get the best value for your buck if you're on a budget. The S9 has a better screen (not sure about the camera), but software updates are very important to have an optimised experience. I highly doubt that the S9 with android 10 is better optimised than the A73 with android 12 in 2022. That's just ridiculous. Besides, the battery on tbe S9 sucked. If you're recommending the S20 over the A73 then yeah.. i'd say the S20 is better. But S9? Nope, sorry.
@@farraelena4570 Well the iPhones currently even the SE are faster than the S22s or S20s, you get more software, better build quickly, camera and price
Good phone but it doesn't hit the market that the A53 hits and moves up a weight class in terms of price.. So I see it being a lot more niche. Looking into the A73's cost its said to cost between $500 and $525 USD - if I'm going to spend that much on a phone I'm going to just get something like a Pixel or a S21 / S21 FE (can pick up a S21 FE now for $550). Or even an iPhone 12. There's way more competition around the A73's price bracket.
Hi! Question. Does the back of the unit that you have feel like it has bubble inside? Or is it just mine? The customer service said there was a "slight bump in the back case" but apparently Samsung said it was normal. I wanted to know if others have the same issue with the back cover of their units.
Can the main 108 megapixel camera be cropped cleanly to get a cloud shot. Lack of telephoto is bad. I need 5x or 10x even if the price is slightly higher. Thanks for the great video
Samsung A71 is my first Samsung Phone after using an ios for so long. After just a year of using it as my daily phone screen has issues (flickering screen/green tint) which i have read online, it is more of a software issue than a hardware issue. On the other hand, my iPhone 6+ is still working 7 years later with a crack screen. It only shows that samsung phones are meehhh.
My brother has the A71 for 2 years now and haven't had any problems so far, I have the A21s for 2 years as well and havent had any issues either, it seems is going to last forever to be honest, off course I think in 3 years I will need to change it but because technology improvements and updates, in 3 years things are going to change a lot I think

I have planned to buy a phone what is the best to buy but it based on camera? Samsung A73 or Iphone 11?
I bought it and I'm enjoying the experience so far
How is the haptic feedback and does it lag
Great review, covered almost every detail
Just got my A73 256g😊😍 I'm enjoy every bit of it👌
Watching on my A7 (2018) 😅😅😅
Hi I’m early great video
Hopefully later in the future you can compare this to the others
Definitely! Lots of comparison videos coming soon
That mint coloer stole my heart
Great review, coming from a s20FE with the common cracked camera glass issue I find it an upgrade in most areas, not a big gamer on phones do that on PC, all I needed was a nice Ringke case and a olixar wireless charging adapter to make it complete, and I can add a sd card later when required not like a s21FE
How do U charge it ? Adaptor ?
Is this launching in the U.S? If so, when?
A72 vs A73 Pls pls pls
Btw i really love ure videos so smooth
did you just say the a73 is a good upgrade from the s20 fe? reconsider that please haha its the other way around
Ok that "nice" on the screen when you mentioned the price made me crack a smile lol
Finally the A series beast, the phone people should buy over the trash A53.
Comparison coming soon! I don’t hate the A53, but I would definitely get this instead
I'm a Moto G fan but I'm not impressed with the moto g 5g this year so I'm going to try the Samsung A73 5G
I think that’s a good move! Might even consider the A53 5G - save some money and get nearly the same good specs
Same not liking the Motorola line up this year
Good decision
Omg I've been looking everywhere for this phone and can't find it! You know why?
It’s been a sloooooow roll out from Samsung and most retailers don’t even have it in stock yet 😅
@@TechDaily thx bro, you know where I can get it tho?
Good bro am happy now i have been waiting for this video since the a 73 came out, and you done it well 👍 Sharp Sharp
How good is the speaker on this phone . Bass , clarity , Loud
Will this be coming to US carriers?
Im from a71. Is it worth upgrading? Or i will not notice the difference?
Yes, you'll notice it. My friend just upgraded from the A71 and is raving about the A73, especially the stereo speakers, the cameras and the speed of the screen.
@@tlevans62 its been 8 months thnx for the answer btw.
Where did you find and buy that model? Because I didn't find this model on official Samsung site... Thank you.
Do they provide any screen protector. Because I've noticed that my A73 already had a screen protector.
ur like one of the first to review it
Really?? I know a couple people who have it - I felt left out 😅
@@TechDaily LMAO
7:55 yeah I have the a71, got it at launch. The battery is built like a brick and has hardly degraded lol. But like 1x-2x it just becomes really slow for like 5mins
Nice review bro wade of the Samsung Galaxy a73 5g
Samsung A series is best budget 👌 smartphones..
I'm a little late by the way. But I have to say , this is a great budget phone for the price
I cant even find this phone anywhere. Can you even buy this in canada? Its not in the samsung website either
Samsung galaxy a73 or iPhone 11 pro max which one should I buy this year
Now you'll do a72 vs a73 😭? God bless you bro
do you know where I can go to buy one? I've looked online i can't find them anywhere
did you activate here in the states? does it work I'd u purchase it unlocked?
Just get a52s 5g it's cheaper and still keeps up having the same chipset. Exynos 1280 was a mistake, i am glad they improved by switching to Qualcomm.
I have a52s too
Great review! Just curious if the international model comes with a "two-sim" bay AND place for SD storage? thank you and cheers..
It's a hybrid, either two sims, or one Sim and a micro SD.
@@tlevans62 Thank you ,
I Love Love it
It is still new, but I love the series and note series and s series best famous series
Samsung galaxy a13 ???? or Nokia x10 ???? really appreciate your feedback
A disgusting move from Samsung, by removing the charger and the back cover, as well as removing the 3.5mm headphone jack for the middle class phones, and even the processor, there is no update on it. The a52s is the best option on the market right now
Another great video Wade. :)
No earphones, no charging brick what's the point?
Great video
If I imported a samsung a73 5g unlocked from samsung USA or india or asia to the UK, would the 5G connectivity still work on a english sim card?
Thank you
is A73 not available in your country?
so lucky I live in Asia (Im from Taiwan 🇹🇼) so many various smartphone series available in my country
Sorry my english not good
I still have my A71. And as much as I'm willing to upgrade to no headphone jack, there's still four cameras.
How many you want, 8?
@@markoroncevic Four is too much.
you can get this same item for alot low price unlocked and half the price $749.99 My World Phone
I know this has nothing to do with the video but wat phone could I replace my iPhone se 2020 with that isn’t to expensive. I like gaming and taking photos
if you have s20 fe snapdragon edition. this is not a good upgrade unlike what he said. you already have 120hz, 5g and a better processor.
A71 vs A73 comparison pls 🙏
Coming soon!
I have A71 currently, now looking for my next phone
Does it have Dex capability?
For me, the A series is a very nice add for people who want the looks and the feel of a flagship for the price. But the hardware while being high end sounding isn’t really the best and getting an S8 or S9 over a A73 is a better buy since it’s got less features but it’s better optimised
The S8 and the S9 are no longer supported and will not be as secure nor will they have the battery life of today's products.
you kidding, right? the S8 and S9 are so old now. i would not recommend them to anyone. i have the S10+ and even that is lagging now on android 12. i would suggest at least get the S20 series at least if you want to save some money and still get updates and also lots of the newer features.
A73 5G cost here is now $450.75 for 8 GB / 256 GB
S21 FE is Exynos while A73 is Snapdragon
@@babagandu while here in PH is $559.11 for the A73 5G 8/256GB
@@jetsonalconaba3888 Holy smokes !
When I bought it I thought it's wireless charge but unfortunately it's not charging on my car via wireless
keep up the great work!
Thanks so much! 😊
Is the back glass or plastic
Hi!
Thanks for the great video
hello please question the a73 our the a52s to buy
🔥🔥🔥
🔥💯🙏
It's hard to get in the UK still I don't know where to buy it from ☹
eBay
@@twesigyeisaac5864 it's ok I got the Galaxy S21 Plus from ebay best phone honestly 😁
will and when is this comming to usa i only want a73 lol
Help me, between A52 and A72 which one to buy
A52s
Best value for money now from samsung
why samsung always have white line on the screen near the volume button?
Can Snapdragon 778G even handle 4 more major Android updates? Samsung could have went with a more powerful processor like 870 or something
