Ran Geekbench V many times on my Samsung A53 8/256 and consistently get 740 / 1908 in single/multi core benchmarks. Since the day I bought it, so something is "off" in many reviews of this phone.
Seems like the latest updates have made the A53 faster. I also notice that the A53 in daily use and gaming is noticeably faster than the A33. Not sure why given the same chipset but my daughter's A33 is definitely slower out of the box than my A53 is and that's right out of the box.

7:33 a73 fps shows clear difference I would suggest someone to go for a73 straight away if they are focussed on using it for Media alone and I would rate avg for gaming ,it performs decent tbh.
The very big difference is the cameras. I've had both, and the 108 megapixel photos give you the ability to zoom in on a photo and still have sharpness that you do not get with the 64 megapixel photo. Both phones do exceptional photos though.
my a52 5g is probably a good long term option based on what i see here cause the a33 is only an upgrade compared to the first gen a70 or the a51 thus it is probably better to see what model of phone u are upgrading from.
Sometimes A33 5G is faster than A53 5G, i can't see any difference on performance between A33 5G and A53 5G if compared it on doing daily task. Both of the phone is good for daily task. If compared it on games, maybe i can see some differences between both the phone. For A73 5G has the snapdragon 778g, ofc the performance A73 5G is better than both of the phone but its just too expensive to buy it and i dont really need 108mp camera.

My example is that I manage major brand networks and the phone they gave me was an a53, but those 15 seconds more waiting, become an eternity when you need to be stuck many, many hours on the phone.

Missed a couple of elephants there. The major store retailers stopped selling the A53 when the A73 came out. I couldn't buy an A53 to replace mine unless I ordered from obscure online retailers or jagged some run out stock. Next, with discounting the A73 came in at less than $30 more than I paid for the A53. Finally, I do a lot of photography with my phone. There are significant differences between these models. True, many folks can't see a need for those features, but they might take video of landscapes in portrait mode. I was bothered slightly by the larger size, but it becomes normal after a day.
Depend on the needs of each person's daily, A73 has a 108mp while A52s has a 64mp, the thing is A52s has a 15W charger (better late than never lol) while A73 don't. Other things are the same, even the chipset. The A73's price is higher than A52s. But you're not wrong, it's not just the chipset but talk about other things like accessories, the display, etc. For me, i think i'm gonna choose A52s instead because it'll save a ton of money, and I don't really need a 108mp camera.

Yeah, its main downgrade is the processor, but there's virtually no difference for everyday tasks since processors have gotten so good. Eitherway, I have seen people, who never owned a Exynos S21, literally telling me, who owns that exact thing, how laggy that is. And.. mine's not even slow or laggy at all. Never overheat unless I seriously push it.

The RAM management on these three was terrible, reloading all the apps tested! Crazy bad and deal-breaker for me. Certainly I would be looking at other brands for better RAM management and obviously much better performance. These three are strictly aimed at hardcore Samsung fans that just want to be within the Samsung circle.

For your usage, the A53 will do fine. Gaming is possible too but need to use lowest graphic settings in heavy games. I am using A52 4G and i can scroll through instagram and facebook smoothly.

A73 5g uses snapdragon just one speaker where A53 5g uses crappy Exynos 1280 has dual speakers. If I can find A73 5g for a reasonable price I will replace A53 5g and just use Bluetooth headphones and speaker.

I bought Galaxy A53 and its very good in speakers,Camera,performance (it is consistent too),screen & good vibration motor.
