I too knit everywhere I go and get excited for car time when I'm not driving! 😂 my favorite part of this video was your interaction with your teenage son. Brought me to tears. Having a six year old boy, it gives me hope seeing that although things change, they still love you and you still have a bond. It was apparent in the way you guys interacted. So sweet!
Yep, things definitely change as they get older but all the moments you get just become even more special. ❤️
Loved coming along for the drives with you and see new sights as a virtual tourist ... I have been watching Jana from Finnish Knitting stories here on the tube... much excitement when videos from either of you pop into my feed.
I can’t overstate how much joy and much needed relaxation this video has brought me today. It’s been quite the stressful day and this was the perfect reward when I finally got to sit down. I really enjoy seeing the little snippets of your life and also the scenery in America. It’s so different to the UK. I was all set to whip out my cosy autumn,knits and Halloween themed yarn but we have a heatwave this week in the UK, which I’m determined to embrace as we didn’t get much summer .My teens are back at school and I’m alone in a blissfully quiet house! Coffee and knitting perfect .

Hi Kay. I really liked this video. Seeing you over several days and over the weekend with your family life as well. Both the new sets of socks you have started look lovely. I liked seeing the squirrel outside in the backyard. That one was huge. I am in Australia so don't see squirrels running around . In one suburb here I have seen peacocks roaming the streets sitting in people's front yards and in the morning and at dusk can be seen kangaroos. We also get ducks and turtles crossing the roads at certain times near water. Hope you have a great week.

I've been obsessed with the channel "Outdoor Boys". It's a dad who does camping, wilderness, bushcrafting stuff either on his own or with his sons. A lot take place in Alaska and Virginia. I love it

Nice to see snippets of your daily life. For me, the best part was the beginning. I love to watch yarn being caked up. I’d also get a small Keurig for the office/yarn/ guest room. I do love my coffee.

I have just started watching Flannel and Purl it’s been wonderful! The one ep and the at the table were amazing it was so nice to just sit and knit in a more relaxed way. Christopher is a great host.

Love the yarns and holy cow you knit so fast! I have to admit that in my 47 years I’ve never once seen hocus pocus 😮 I do love practical magic and my fave way back in high school was teen witch.

Great vlog. So good to see you and your family relaxing. Lucy Boston was a children's author who wrote a really good series of books. The first in the series is the Children of Green Knowe. Lucy lived in a wonderful old house in Hemmingford Grey and to help keep the house warm she made quilted items for around the house. During WW11 she gave musical evenings on an old gramophone for members of the RAF. 🇬🇧
