I love your scrappy socks.
Wow 150 socks I'm trying to finish one pair. I'm trying to finish a duster. Have back done, one panel and 1/2 of the second panel done. Need to finish 2nd panel and two sleeves and border around duster. have to be finished on or before 12/12. Oh, I am crocheting the duster.
Matching up socks is also one of my least enjoyable tasks... Kudos to Eric for pitching in! That's why my hubs & kids have commercially made socks that are all the same for easy matching!
Honestly, I came here for the Socks, but now I want a Jeep ! 🐥 💕

Hi. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy watching you so much but must confess, I have never made a pair of socks! I am fairly new to knitting and can do the Continental knit stitch and a bit of the purl stitch. I just have trouble going from one to the other. You are so encouraging. And seeing all of your finished socks, really helped. Guess I need to pick up my needles.
WOW!!! I have a full drawer of me made socks, a box of Christmas socks and a box of Halloween socks!!! Now I want a tub of socks!!!! I know there are socks for two in there but I could aspire to filling a smaller tub!!!

I just split the leftovers I have from socks into 2 balls. Nothing else. No certain amount. I’m pretty laid back with my knitting lol

What a great guy sorting all those socks! I ordered some of those containers last year thinking I'd put socks in them. I ended up putting some of my yarn in them and I love it! Yarn is sorted and I can see through the cover what I have. My handknit sock collection is small so it still fits in my cedar sweater box. Maybe someday I'll have enough knit to fill an ornament box. Your grandma is going to be so thrilled with her new shawl. Such a pretty color. Have a great rest of the weekend!

wow wow so many socks, 150?! So satisfying to see them all organized in a case like that :) I usually end up knitting socks for myself, but I think I need to knit more for hubby as well. It was so sweet to see the little surprise ducky too. Thank you always for putting these together!
So many socks! I think I have about 30, and my husband has about 12. We've both worn thru one pair, because they're worn more often. I do wash in the machine, but lay flat to dry. I had a few pair go thru the dryer and they shrunk just enough to be too tight going over the ankle. They shouldn't have, they were superwash, but I definitely don't want that to happen to any more!
I LOVE that your basket is a mess! It means you are like the rest of us. I know you tell us all the time, but it's nice to see your not-so-perfect side. Are you going to do your 'introduction with your socks' this year during Vlogmas? I always enjoyed your moment by the tree with your socks.

I wash my hand knit socks with my tops in the washing machine, delicate cycle on a regular basis and put them in the dryer as well and like yours, they are very nice. I don’t have as many as you do so I have to wash them every other week.

I love seeing your sock collection. It was the inspiration for mine, in fact. I'm at 56 pairs for me and five gift pairs, plus two pairs currently on the needles. I started knitting socks before I ever found you on UA-cam, but your name was what drew me in and your sock knitting continues to inspire me (along with shawls and blankets and sweaters and...). So nice, as always, to get a peek into your day, and looking forward to Vlogmas.
Yay for finishing the Prayer Shawl!!! And a gift to boot! I finished 3 gift WIPS this week and it feels amazing. I am so excited for Vlogmas almost here. Knitting watching Vlogmas is a tradition now.

Your socks are all awesome, the containers you store them in are great and having many gives you a choice!!! It’s good to know they will wash and dry nicely. When I am finished the ones I am doing, I will be about 12! Hopefully once I am done 100, I can do them with my eyes closed. Your shawl is lovely it’s a great pattern. I do! I know a lot of people don’t. But I haven’t had any issues. And everyone I make socks for uses the washer and dryer with zero issues as well.

I had to go count my socks. I have 17. Can't even compare to what you have! No socks on the needles now, but will cast on and work toes this week to be ready for my advent socks from Woolens and Nosh. First time ever doing an advent. I'm excited. Also making a cardigan for my son, Smokin" by Jared Flood in Big Sky Fibers Woolstok. Aran weight knitting feels so much faster than fingering, but the cardigan is sooo many more stitches.
I got an Advent calendar this year ; my first one. I'm suppose to be making ornaments, but I don't think so. Take care & have a blessed Thanksgiving weekend.

Just regular detergent. Usually tide.

I just saw your link in the show notes to the anthology throw. I have two advents this season and have been trying to decide what to make. I’ve been thinking about the habitation throw, and Laura Penrose’s new blanket. That anthology throw is really pretty, too.
In the Target Dollar Spot there was a bin of mini ducks. A lady was scooping them into her handbasket. I said "Jeep owner" as I passed and she laughed and said "yep".
