I know this is an older video but I’m amazed at how little $ you’re able to tour. I suppose keeping it simple by camping, cooking your own food, and not buying excess junk you can keep the budget lean. But I would have never expected it to this lean!

Great job, Jin. I think you neglect to mention that the biggest part of your travels is living a relatively simple lifestyle. Safe travels, friend.
What an awesome share! I can't believe you keep such meticulous records... I would go insane managing all my numbers. I have always thought about setting up donations but felt uncomfortable asking for money.... but I think it is ok actually. You inspire people. Entertain people. You are doing a service and should appreciate taking something from people who would like to give. Keep it up and JaYoe. And thanks again.

Many of your details are in your blog, as you document every month how much you spent. They are quite low, usually between USD$600-1000 a month, so with some donations and some odd jobs online, and your savings from Canada, which is also info on your blog, you should be able to afford your trip, being frugal and camping out a lot.
I didn't know you kept a record of your finances on excel though. Keeping your records for such a long time is impressive- good work!

동영상을 보니 참 많은 생각이 드네요. 내가 5년만 더 일찍 자전거 여행에 취미를 붙였더라면 과감해질 수 있지 않았을까. 그리고 만약 실행한다 손 쳐도 우주별님이 가진 조건과 제가 가진 조건이 다르기 때문에 서로 다른 결론이 나오는 것이 아닌가. 그렇다면 자전거 여행 스타일을 바꿔야 할 것인가 여행 재원을 마련하는 다른 방법을 찾아야 할 것인가. 만약 장기간의 여행을 거친다면 여행 후에 내가 가진 대안은 있는가 등등...
악조건하에서도 근검 절약하며 여행에 대한 열정을 잃지 않고 꾸준히 나아가시는 모습. 정말 멋집니다!아무쪼록 아무사고 없이 안전한 여행이 되시길 응원하겠습니다 !

Frankly speaking, it is mystery where I got this adventurous spirit because in South Korea I didn't have any friend or family who went to travel far often. I have never dreamed to travel lot even when I was in South Korea. haha. I only dreamed 'one day I want to visit Europe or America.' Now I remember in South Korea I didn't understand why people spent lot money to travel. haha..
My first travel was to cycle in Jeju Island. At that time I rented a bicycle and traveled 9 days. I turned off my phone for nine days although I had a job and boyfriend. That was my first adventure and I think I liked it. After that I went to Canada and I found myself enjoying lot. haha
When I was in South Korea, I read some cyclist post on camera forum and it opened my eyes lot because at that time there were not many young people traveling. I think maybe that was starting to know about traveling?
By the way these days many young Korean people travel lot. It is going popular ;)
Oh.... actually maybe since middle school or high school, when I had fresh air on the midnight at balcony on high apartment, I wanted to run to somewhere forever far.. maybe that was starting?? haha..

i like that you show all the details of your income and spending. other youtubers are pretty vague about this subject for some nonsensical reason..... if i could double like this video, i would, but we know what happens if i try that... thanks for sharing what others wont.

It still seems a little hard to do what you do, but I guess that if you like doing it, it makes it easier.

와...... 제가 알고있는 여행자 중에 최고네요!!! 2010년까지 한국에 있었는데 어떻게 영어를 잘하시는거져 궁금해요~
편입영어 공부한 적이 있는 데 그때 문법을 새로 싹 배웠어요.. 이후 캐나다로 워홀 가서 천천히 문법 배운거 써먹으면서 늘리는데... 회화를 제대로 공부한적이 없어서 발음이나 악센트는 옳바르지는 못해요.ㅠ.
