Was super depressed during a breakup and this song was on repeat to help me through the grieving process. Such a sad song but kudos to mortiers.
I have a similar story except this song helped me process the feelings I still had years after a really bad break up.

Stronger than a lot of heavier lyrics in all genres of music of all time.

They lack the emotional depth to comprehend this band
I mean what kind of people would put dislike on this? What kind of people would waste their time to put a dislike on something so beautiful, and even if they could somehow see the beauty of this, why would they leave a dislike? What kind of wretched being would waste time of an act like this? This song doesn't have anything negative in the lyrics, so it can't be for a cause, this song is just incredibly good, so what reason? is it because they are jealous? Would someone even as petty as this?
I just don't understand.

There’s no other moment or any other song that consistently gives me the tingles like that.
Even more spine chilling when you realize she's talking about herself throughout the whole song. This song is about her internal struggles, with her ego and self doubt and wishing sometimes that she could escape the one person she never can: herself. "Could have sworn I heard you laughing in the doorway" = serious chills, especially after her self declaration earlier that despite having eyes everywhere, she's finally gonna get away from herself....
