Thanks, bullitt foruu! I'm a bassist that's always loved the low end. I play an Epiphone Allen Woody Rumblekat with a neck and a "bridge" (actually it's center) pickup, has good punch + low end. Love the Hofner sound too! Maybe it'll be my next instrument.
Both the Ignition Club and Violin/Beatle bass are fully hollow just like the original Hofners of the 1950's and 1960's were. Combined with the staple pups the sound is almost, I say almost, identical. The alteration of body shape between the Club and the "Beatle" Violin shape bass makes almost no difference at all.
@@tunesmith7437 I have my Club! It's a great little bass. I can hear it enough unplugged for my purposes -- just as a practicing thing. Certainly isn't loud enough unplugged to play with others, as you know. It's a fun bass to play. Very comfortable.

The Epi is a cool bass. Thanks for the kind comment Andy. Rock on. (Formerly bullit foruu).
Now I've got a woody!! :)
Be happy.
I've always wondered if there's any significant difference between a club bass and a violin bass.
The body shape is really the only difference. You’ll get the same tones and sounds out of both.
That would have been my guess.

Sounds great. Any volume unplugged?
For a fully acoustic bass it does produce unamplified sound. However, not as much as an acoustic bass guitar would provide. Thanks for the kind words.
@@tunesmith7437 Thanks for the response. Perfect for me... I just want enough volume to hear myself a bit when I'm watching TV and fiddling around.
@@monkeymindmatters Good luck in your purchase and let me know how it works out for you.
