Mic Geronimo’s last comment re: the benefit of therapy was very profound . As a therapist myself who grew up during this era of hip hop in East NY and having also done my own therapy. I can see how much of a positive Impact that mental health is having on others who come from similar neighborhoods.

@@absurd_patience it is a noun, but when people use it in the manner he did, it lends to an incorrect understanding of what mental health actually is. Mental Health is “a thing” but it’s not one SPECIFIC thing, as the sentence structure would lead you to believe. It’s a CONDITION that is not static and is unique to every individual. To give a proper understanding, and in context with this clip, a better wording would be: “It’s nice to see the positive impact mental health treatment has had on the community.” I’m also a therapist, MSW, LCSW, LMFT. And I know nobody asked for the breakdown, but as in need of treatment as our community is, we should seek to better understand it.

Here's the deal about wether Pac shot himself or not. You can easily go look up the statement from Bellevue Hospital in 94 about Pac's injuries. He had 10 entrance and exit wounds which would be consistent with being shot 5 times. According to Zayd who was with Pac and crew that night Pac reached and they let off on him. Pac got hit, dropped to he ground and that's when he shot himself. Yes, one shot was from himself but not all 5 wounds. He was also shot in the head but being that low caliber bullets were used that saved him. Point blank them dudes turned on Pac and look real funny in the light.

Interesting. Tables turned, I gueas. Nowadays, all we hear about is L.A. and "checking in" with these various glorified gangbangers like Big U, Wack 100 etc. I guess niggas had to "check in" too back in the NYC grimey '90s

Why would Sean Bigga ask him a question like that? Although it was 27 years ago... Stretch probably still has family and friends still around... And if Mic Geronimo answer that question right or wrong that can really start trouble.... A street guy wouldn't ask another Street guy that question on a podcast.

As far as what Pac was saying he never said Stretch set him up but he said he was siding with Biggie after it happened and he felt Biggie had info but didn't tell him what he knew. He said in an interview that he asked Biggie what happened over the phone and Biggie said Im going to come see you then he said tell me what happened i think Biggie didn't come also he was getting info from people which implicated the Bad Boy camp knowing about what was going on.
