He also sometimes could the 3.

Zoom out a bit so you can see the whole court, that way you can get a sense of how fast some of these players move. I have no idea why (apart from adding to a highlight reel) so many videos these days insist on zooming all the way on the action. i went to this at Pauley. I recorded most of the game on my hand held. I hope I find it one day. lol Somewhere at my moms house mixed with other home tapes. There were other games that night. Saw Sebastian Telfair play after this game. Lebron came out of the locker room after and watched. His mom had a Lebron's mom shirt/jersey on.

    People forget how hyped Lebron was. Imagine a high school kid on a magazine at 17 and is called “The Chosen One” and you see his name everywhere in newspapers, magazines, national television, and simply word to mouth. Lebron was selling out Arenas, games were on national television, and he had the comparisons of MJ and Magic. Some people said he’s the greatest high school basketball player they’ve ever seen. Lebron lead STVSTM to 3/4 Championships and also was a great football player and made All state in Ohio. Lebron was such a great athlete and he was 6’7 235 pounds as a senior and was in a grown man body at 18. He went into the NBA with the most hype and pressure ever and exceeded expectations. And Lebron did all this without social media.

      Tai Richardson facts idk how u can hate him. He’s a good dad, husband, role model. He’s never switched up on anyone and is still friends with the people he grew up with. He built a school and still goes back to Akron/Cleveland and helped his high school with a new gym and equipment for sports. Lebron since high school people were hating on him. Imagine hating a kid

    Another fun fact: MD's DJ Strawberry held Lebron to 8-24 shooting and forced a number of turnovers. Still wasn't enough, though.

    • @chrisfrank2664
      @chrisfrank2664 Рік тому

      I was hoping someone mentioned this. Maybe not enough, but during Lebron's High School being shown on ESPN, it was his worst game & not until DJ came to Maryland and became known for his intense defense that people went back and noticed he was the one defending Lebron in this game. He was a really tough kid, just the crap he dealt with from the crowd because of his father only helped his Mental Toughness!!! I loved him at Maryland with his intense Defense which really suited Gary Williams's pressing philosophy!!! I was in a class with him, the year he tore ACL & I tore Meniscus, so both of us were on crutches, which is how we started talking, and he was cool guy to talk to. Not just about Basketball or sports, but anything. He was really smart kid/young adult. He only played very little in NBA after drafted in 2nd round, but still made a long career playing in G-League & then around Europe.

    If not mistaken, according to a documentary on LeBron, many of the kids on this opposing team were on an AAU team out of Cali who defeated Bron's Ohio AAU team to win the championship in a tournament a few years earlier so this was kind of a redemption game for the new and improved Bron.

      It's not fair to compare any high schooler to LeBron. There's footage of a freshman Bron on UA-cam & he was playing the exact same. He was just about 3 inches shorter & 30 pounds lighter. His passing alone puts him out of every other high school star's league.
