  • Last canoeing trip 2019, enjoyed the Biesbosch again. Looking forward to 2020, and will go out canoeing/cooking, hoping for the great company I had this trip.
Filmed with Sony a6400 / Osmo Action / iPhone 8+ / DJI Spark
Cooking : fairly straight forward, cut the wild boar in parts, in the already browned bacon, added forest mushrooms, beer, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Served in pita bread.

That was really enjoyable to watch. That wild boar stew looked delicious, cooked on the ecozoom to. I liked the drone footage, and the camera had good clarity. Amazing environment, it's good to see 3 people out appreciating and enjoying it. At the beginning you are right, it's about enjoying yourself and making a nice video, which is what you did. Been raining aa lot here with storms, hoping to get out in a couple of weeks, great video, thanks.

Well done Udo. U do! Nice impression and yeah, your vids are improving mate. Watched it with pleasure. My opinion about Biesbosch has changed. My introduction, years ago, was a nasty one; loud music, boats canoes floating objects everywhere, noise, more noise. This was more pleasant. Tks. Atb in 2020. Cheers

Special thanks for the special thanks Udo! You guys make a good team out there. I was up at 4:00 a.m. when your video went live and couldn't resist watching. Nice wild boar stew by the way. I carry an old rusty handsaw with me when I explore creeks and have learned if you saw just a little into a log that blocks your path and then apply weight by paddling the nose of the canoe onto the thing it will usually break and you can paddle through. If that doesn't work you could just make Hans get out and pull you over. Hahaha! That's the easier way actually. 😂 Nice way to wrap up 2019.

Ha ha, spot on, you must have seen what actually happened 😂. Unless sturdy boots, they needed a bare footed idiot to pull them out of a muddy creek when leaving 'sent away camp' 😜 Pse, don't bring them to worse ideas.

@@Kababoes Well I did see the part where you were acting as a tug-barge and attempting to push the other canoe over with your bow. That was interesting. By the way, it might interest Udo to know, when his video popped up I was at the computer and was the first to watch and like. Then about half an hour later I watched it a second time and the quality was really, really nice. The first time the picture was fairly grainy. I recall he mentioned that it took time for the last video to "improve" so maybe that's what happened with this one. Just wanted him to know what I saw from my end. It definitely improved after it was up for a while.

@@CanoeingTheEdgeOfTheWorld haha, the bare footed idiot in the muddy creek is not taped (or... Udo...?)
Had the same with that grainy screen, from time to time. Think it has something to do with buffering and streaming speed or wifi speed or other technical procedures I don't understand.

It takes a few hours for UA-cam to process the video, it starts at 360p. Thanks for keeping me informed !

    Wow nice report!
My motivations for uploading are the same.. make a nice video! Well done.
Video quality looks fine, very crisp here. A tip for the audio: get the level of the music down to the level of the talking. With my earbuds in the difference is too great. Just saying..
Ah a Kababoes.. they are a rare find.
Also being send away is nasty.. bahg!
    Atb for 2020!

Good advice of Spijkerpoes. Bring the two in balance. But the good news is: you were understandable, like you said. No need for lipreading anymore. 👍
