One of the best ASMRtists out there rn. God, being aussie myself, I don't really feel tingles from the accent, but all your little mouth clicks are awesome. Keep up the great work man :)
Great video, thanks! It would be awesome if you could do one about Aussie Christmas, that's definitely very different to what all the northern hemisphereans would be familiar with
Yes, it has really taken off in the last few weeks. Thanks for all your positive comments over the last two years! What is your tip for this coming weekend - Adelaide or Richmond?
I'm from the Uk and want to move to the East coast of Australia 🇦🇺 in about 4 years time. Your videos are helpful with general knowledge of Australia. Not to mention you are very good at asmr and have a soothing voice. Thank you !! 💓✨🙂 x
Jodie Gills Brisbane is one of the cheapest city’s to live in Australia and pretty close to other towns and stuff such as Grafton which is a large town but very quiet and country like or Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast for some great beaches and theme parks. If ever visiting the Gold Coast I would recommend going to Q1 you get a full view of the ocean and the Gold Coast
your work keeps getting better and better, the first vid i saw was the world weather report with the globe and it was really good but once u got the new mic ,it has really improved!! i look forward to more videos, keep up the good work..us insomniacs trully appreciate it!
You could read a phone book and I'd be good with it but I thought maybe you do pictures of Australian animals and a bit about where they live, what they eat.
@@zambieabout450 That's the great thing about Canberra. It's a political place. I like how it's quiet and rapidly developing, definitely a nice city to live.
Oporto, Pizza Haven, and Red Rooster are all Australian. We obviously have the rest here in the states, besides Hungry Jack's being called Burger King. Since usually these companies have different regional items, I'm curious as to just how many things are different down under...
I've eaten at Chick Fil A in the States and also Oporto here in Australia and I felt the food was similar - both have very nice food but also similar...
Didn't look at the others to see if someone already said it but about thongs and strings, you say it in Australia the same way we call it in france.(well, we say tongues but it's from the same word so...)
Money is multicoloured like ours in Canada and also plastic now. I love those thongs, I call them thong sandals even though most people would say flip flops lol great video!
Hungry Jacks is only called that in Australia, but for anyone international it is Burger King. Exactly the same company only under a different name for copywrite reasons here in Australia.
So we (Americans) used to call the shoes thongs and the underwear g-strings, but that changed in the 90’s. We call the shoes now either flip-flops or sandals and then that type of underwear are thong’s.

Grew up in Oregon USA and as a kid the sandals type u were showing were called thongs by my family as well. G string is also what we called what is now known as a thong. Any chance you call soda “pop” by itself. Always found it strange growing up that pop turned out not to be the norm.
Thanks for letting me know. In Australia we don't call it soda or pop or soda pop. We mainly just call it by its brand name or generic name (i.e. Coke, Fanta, Lemonade..)
Hungry Jack's is Burger King in the US. I remember watching a thing about this a few years ago where Burger King had to fight for the name in Australia and lost the battle, so they rebranded it as Hungry Jack's. Also, we do say thongs in certain parts. When I lived in Georgia, they called them thongs. G-Strings and thongs when referring to underwear here, are actually two slightly different types of underwear.
Are u American? Just curious only because my mom always called them thongs growing up but I guess nobody else did? Intriguing to me for whatever reason.
What can I say? I don't know everything and haven't been to Australia. McDonald's doesn't seem to rebrand itself by name elsewhere. The food they sell might be different and localized, but the name and signage is the same, from what I can tell.
I don’t know if you do requests but seeing as the rugby league World Cup is coming up I’d love to hear you read out the list of squads of the teams participating
If they feel threatened they can jump and kick you in the chest, the kick is powerful enough to severely wind you and could cause injury like broken bones. Most of the time you’ll find they are very placid animals though, I wouldn’t say they actually run away per say, but they won’t come out unless they feel comfortable
Get Schwifty you really won’t encounter dangerous spiders unless your around bushy areas. Huntsman spiders are also good for getting rid of your fear. They are normally quite large and kinda hairy but they are harmless found one in my shoe one time
„If you were to come to Australia” hits different now that the Aussie Government decided to keep the borders closed for at least the whole of 2021. But it’s probably for the best, I suppose.
TheInfamousZee no, hungry jacks is just a rebrand of Burger King because a shop in Adelaide had the name Burger King so the just changed it to hungry jacks to avoid copyright stuff
It's sad that the description in every video has to specify that this is an Australian man's voice, because many Americans are too ignorant to realise that. Nonetheless, I love the channel!🖒
Cheeky Shitlord I think it's a trigger for some people I.e. they specifically search for the accent. I always tag my videos with "Australian accent" so that it pops up if people are looking for that specific accent as an ASMR trigger.
I hate it when asmr is too much jazz with crazy mics and silly sounds.
Your videos are just perfect! Please keep them simple like this!!
Thanks, will do!
Our accent is actually derived from the drunk slurs of the original immigrants, hence the Aussie accent 👍🇦🇺
@DrT 2000 I like the accent Made

The way you speak is very relaxing.

Im canadian and one of my favorite shows is Australian....Sea Patrol!!
That's great, I enjoyed that show when it was on in Australia. One of my favourite TV shows is Canadian, called Border Security: International!!
We have some Australian shows here in the UK. 'Home and Away' and 'Neighbours' are quite popular here because the people on it are good looking :'D.
And a lot of Australian singers are well known in the UK, namely Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan, both of whom live here!
I hate those shows
One of the top asmrists out there!!! Good job yet again!!!
Thanks!
I love seeing your channel kick off mate. Great work.
Yes, it has really taken off in the last few weeks. Thanks for all your positive comments over the last two years! What is your tip for this coming weekend - Adelaide or Richmond?
Hi from warsaw, its after midnight and this is putting me to sleep. Thx
No problem!
Many Irish were sent to Australia back during the British occupation of Ireland. Ireland was a part of the UK itself back then.
I've heard thongs used for flip flops in the U.S. It's not normal, but it's made its way into the vernacular a little bit maybe.
0:40 boy I‘m always in the mood for Australia

Now that you did one on Australia..the facts...now do one on your capital city...Canberra...I love that place!!
Meesha Cook Canberra is Decently Cold and very flat
Zambie About Noooo....Florida is flatter than a pancake and no mountians...so I will take Canberra over it....anyday.

In OR-STRAIR-LEE-AH we speak the Queens English. Great video mate.

Like the sign video, you should take pictures of cars instead and describe them.(Just a suggestion) Love the video!

Aussie ASMR Man
Hey cool thanks for the reply. On my second watch tonight. Of this video
Is a hungry jacks a Burger King 👑?
Yes.
Aussie ASMR Man i remember going to England mentioning AFL, NFL and hungry jack... never done so much explaining in my life.
It’s named hungry jacks because when Burger King started in aus there was already a company called Burger King so they had too change their name
Kind of an interesting story, when I think about it.
@@ollielearner6994 do you mean nrl
