Thanks Shane, you just cost me £180!! I was happy with my tomtom runner (2nd hand) as I’m pretty new to running. It gave me more running data than my Fitbit charge 2. Then I subbed your channel and watched the videos on the 245. Kept my eye on the price and got one on a Black Friday deal for £180. What a device!! Talk about info overload!! Wife asked me today how my run was... she was asleep halfway through the data I was telling her. Lol. Thanks for the heads up on this great watch. Great videos, really interesting stuff. Keep them coming.

Some real world data for those still curious....
I've completed two 50k ultras, and both times my Forerunner 245 battery just made it. My race time was just over 10hrs. The watch died maybe an hour after finishing. I had it on Ultra Trac. Watch is about 2 years old.
So I give the Forerunner 245 Music about 11hrs battery life on Ultra Trac.
I've signed up for 100k... looks like I'll need a new watch 😤

Nice quick tip👍 Question for you. Heart Rates - when I do the simple 220 minus my age 54 I get 166 as a Max. On my Fenix 6x (with correct bDay/profile) using Garmin Connect it shows me 197 Max. I think I’d explode after 180. Any tips on why/how etc?
The first thing I would have said is check your age, but you've done that. I have no idea. Let's see if someone else reading the comments can add to this...
