- The Geno render in this video was created by KornoMutated, who reached out for a Forest Maze remix to use in his video! Having already planned out a remix of Beware the Forest's Mushrooms, I was more than happy to put it at the top of my to-do list and make this remix in honor of this long-requested character!

There has been a lot of attempts I've seen on UA-cam, Soundcloud, Twitter of a Geno "Smash" remix. And I have to say a lot of them don't have that Smash type of feel to them, I know the vibe and feel of Smash music to my heart, and this is the closest and most accurate Beware the Forest Mushrooms Smash remix I've ever heard, biggest props to you. Accurate Smash remixes are such ear candy
This is such a good quality remix! Your ability to emulate the smash battle song style is unrivaled. This is one of my favorite Mario songs and you did an absolutely killer job with it, but that goes without saying! You always do great. Great Job Pixel, keep up the good work!

I'm getting HUGE Banjo Kazooie main theme smash vibes like how there's a section with a more modern drum pattern and a bit with drums only giving a big hit on the beat its really nice to hear

Man this is impressive! It feels very accurate to the style used by a lot of composers/arrangers in recent smash games. I can tell you’ve listened to those a lot to get a feel for them!

OH my GOSH how did I miss this? This is perfect! A detailed balance between the original and all the additions and updates you'd expect to see in a smash cover (those bagpipes and the section beginning at 1:24 are amazing!) And all the nods to different songs from Super Mario RPG are the icing on the cake!

Beauty! Personally, I find it sounds less 'Smash Bros fight theme' and more 'action sequence in mountain area', especially at 1:00, with the action is even resolved at 2:36. I think because the original is so mystical, your smashification put it in a middle ground. Less of a fight theme, but epic and with a sense of narrative, fantastic remix.

It's a huge shame that Geno couldn't get into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, he literally had it all to get in and in the end he appeared as a spirit and a fart suit. Although good, I don't blame Sakurai after all, Square Enix is the one who has the rights to the character and we know how bad and bastard Square Enix is!
