This remedy really seems to be working for my pup, thank you so much! I've added one more ingredient to this treatment, colloidal silver. I've been using it on a damp washcloth to clean his nose with first before applying the salve. I added a dropper full of colloidal silver to your salve ingredients and then I give him a little peanut butter with a dropper full of colloidal silver for internal intake as his treat. Definitely improving and his demeanor has completely improved!

Hi Doc. Our doggie is 14 - male minpin. He has lost a lot of weight, skin & bone now, eats two meals a day and drinks a lot of water. A few days ago, I noticed the green discharge from both his nostrils. He has been sneezing. I am using your mix and hope to help rid him of this infection. Thank you for covering all conditions and concerns. ❤

Thank you for your help! My 12 year old Boston terrier x has not been able to breathe thru her nose for almost 9 months. Her vet has had her on steroids, and antibiotics three times. She's had prescribed steroid sprays and nothing has worked. They did xrays to see if her cough was from a collapsed trachea but it was fine. I had her blood work done but now they want to do an x ray of her sinuses as I suggested it is a fungal infection (she reacted well when I used colloidal silver and manuka honey in drops into her nose. The vet had me stop when we used antibiotics) I am.praying this helps her! God bless you !!!!

He has had dental extractions, many round of meds, etc..I've removed all things I consider allergy inducing from my home yet it continues. They have deemed ot chronic rhinitis but I'm not so sure. I do not know if you can help with my little 13 year old Doxie's issue, but since last summer after having 4 of her front teeth extracted she has had chronic nasal congestion. She was on antibiotics but it would keep recurring. After much trial and error I started giving her nasal flushes daily with Himalayan salt and baking soda in distilled water. This has helped tremendously. The amount of mucous that comes out of this little dog is unbelievable. I am also giving her liquid vitamin C and also the chinese herb tea pills for sinuses. My question is, is there anything else I can do for her? Is it harmful to give her nasal flushes a couple of times a day? Will this ever clear up or is it something we will need to treat indefinitely? We have no holistic Vet in our area to take our dogs to. All Vet Clinics in our rural area want to continuously put her on antibiotics and other antihistamines which made her feel terrible. Thank you

@Dr. Jones, I need your expert opinion. My dog just came from the vet a couple of hours ago... he had his annual exam, as well as he has a yellow mucus coming from his nose. The vet prescribed Clavaseptin 62.5 mg and Benadryl 25 mg. I was very hesitant to put him on antibiotics, but he has the mucus coming from his nostril (yellow in color) over 3 months, and nothing I tried including changing his diet seems to clear it up. The vet ordered a blood test which was very expensive. What do you think about these meds? And do you think the blood work will help to show what's happening with my dog?
The vet also said he has cataracts, so I will try one of the remedies you mentioned in this video. Thank you for all you do to support pet owners ❤️

Doc my dogs nose gets stuffy at night, she’s sleeping more and not eating as much as before but still eating, still active and playing around but seems more tired than usual. She sleeps in our bedroom at night and it’s winter, I see her making noises trying to breathe through her nose…could this be a cold or something more serious?

@@jordinc5706 hey yeah! It ended up being nasal congestion or at-least that’s the conclusion I came up to. I think the winter and dry air around the house seemed to have contributed to it. We bought a humidifier and placed it in our bedroom which is where I find she experiences her symptoms and it resolved within a week. She was completely fine. Maybe try out a small humidifier where your dog sleeps. It significantly improved my dogs congestion.

I have been dealing with something with my dog for six months not sure if it’s similar to you but I feel like the vet is just throwing solutions towards him without really having any idea what’s going on or what he is trying to treat it started out with just a runny nose not bad but more than normal figured it was heavy allergy time but then it turned into a bloody nose on one side, so figured the sinus infection was pretty bad or maybe he caught himself by digging at it with his nail so he was treated with an antibiotic and it seem to somewhat help but as soon as it was done he went back and worse and then the bloody nose is were huge especially when he would wake up it would be everywhere so that they tried a stronger antibiotic and a steroid for a long time at first he started looking better happier and the bloody nose had stopped we thought we finally got it no medicine is done he literally leaves frisbee size puddles wherever his face lays why he sleeps and his nose is very raw and I apologize for the long message but I’m desperate to help this dog as my kids will be destroyed if something happens to him So my question is have you come up with any solution to your dogs problems that is actually resolving the issue or seems promising does this guy is natural remedy seem to help as I can’t even touch my dog knows he’s in so much pain and it’s like most on this thread I don’t believe the vet has feelings it’s just a job to him

@@Dmkpit401 Sorry to read about your pup. As a matter of fact, my situation started with one dog and then moved to all three labs. Red blisters that worsened in the sun. One had a biopsy and showed nothing. All 3 have had fungal testing many times. I am being told one tested positive for ring worm. I don't buy it, as they have no skin issues. The vet said it was presenting like nothing he had ever seen. They have all three been put on oral anti fungal with no improvement. One pup on a 3 wk antibiotic. So, I decided to use a remedy recommended here on them and finally am seeing black noses again. It was boiled black peko tea, lavender oil drop, ACV and coconut oil. I did drop a couple a tiny amount of with Hazel. I really like this vet here and think he is very knowledgeable. This remedy cleared my pups hot spots awhile back. I also added a capful of ACV to their water daily. I did buy a Rx fungal shampoo and bought a bottle that attached to a garden hose to apply it. Keep me posted. Would love to show ya the nose photos. Stay positive and strong. Hugs to your pup and family.

    Hi!
Just wondering if this is suitable for an infection that could be deeper in the nose? Or is sinus rinsing with something like lavender oil an option? My vets think it could be something lodged inside or a fungal infection as antibiotics help but then the issues come right back…but I can’t afford a cat scan or the possible surgeries that follow so I’m desperate to find a solution. My border collie is making loud snoring noises constantly and has really bad nose bleeds lately.

my7 lb maltese also started developing problems in June or July of 2023. Symptoms were cough and sneezing. X ray ruled out any lung issues. Started with treating for possible sinus infection. The antibiotics helped clear it up temporarily but then the issue came right back. We did several rounds of antibiotics then decided to remove bad teeth incase that was causing issues and the problem continued.Just took her to the vet this week for continued problems. An X ray of sinuses showed there was something in the right sinus cavity. They did not know what the something is, whether it is infection or polyps. My dog is sneezing green so I am assuming it is infection showing on the x ray. He told me there is nothing else he can do for my dog and the only option is to see an internal medicine specialist. He said I would probably spend upwards of 5000 dollars and my dog would probably still have issues because the percentage of success with clearing this type issue is very low.
I am thinking I will try the saline and sterile water saline nasal flushes. I also seen a video about saline nebulizer treatments. The saline used was like infant dose because she was treating puppies. She also mixed the saline with a med that had antibiotic properties. I would rather speak to a veterinarian about adding the medication because I would not want to give too much saline or antibiotic

Hi Dr Jones. Hope Lulu is gettin better. I had a question for you. My dog also has this nasty nose infection been using this recipe for it. However, she also has allergies that causes her to itch terribly. I wanted to use stinging nettle for her. I did find that it is high in iron and someone said that if they have a bacterial infection then you shouldn't give nettle because of the high iron in it. They say it will feed the bacteria. Is this true? Do you believe that nettle will promote bacterial growth? Thank you so much for your advice and your videos. I think you are great!!! God bless you.

Hi. I tried to search for a video about your opinion on sunburnt noses in doggies but looks like you haven’t touched on that subject yet. I’m struggling to know what to do.. my dog has a really sunburnt nose (we live on a boat) and it is really hard to keep her out of the sun.. I’ve tried two pet friendly sunscreens but it just doesn’t cut it.. she’s got flaking skin on her nose and sometimes small open blisters. A friend of mine used a blue sunblock on his dogs nose, but I can not find anything like it online that is safe for dogs so I’m thinking he used human sun block which contains Zinc Oxcide. I’ve found one that says contains 200mg per g. Is that safe for me to put on her nose once a day? Toxicity levels are reported to be between 50mg - 100mg per kg. She is 18kg, which means between 900 - 1800mg is toxic. She has been licking the previous sunscreens, but I’m hoping she’ll get less off with this one since it is very waterproof. Do you think it would be okay in small amounts?
What do I do? I don’t want her to get cancer or suffer from a burnt wounded nose all the time..

To protect white areas of cat’s ear flaps, it is best to use products containing Titanium Dioxide as their active ingredient. Titanium Dioxide works by physically blocking the sun’s harmful UVB rays and short UVA rays, but does not block the longer UVA rays. So while Titanium Dioxide is not poisonous, it does not completely protect against the sun’s rays and is often combined with other ingredients such as zinc oxide to increase protection
