Thanks for the very good explanation of making the curds. I have never seen them here in Australia. We DO have Gouda cheese but it is mostly made here. Many greetings from Down-Under

Really enjoyed the video. All the explainations during the process were great. How long did it take you guys in the end to make those curds? It almost looked like a whole day. I would really like to taste your cheese some time. Cheers

They start at 5 in the morning and finish around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, but it's not a solid 11 hours of making the cheese curds.

How does the process differ between good cheese curds and champion cheese curds?

I'm not sure we only make champion cheese curds! Haha
As the dairy farmer I would say it starts with the highest quality milk!

I'm from central Wisconsin, where cheese is king of all foods (hence the reason we're called cheese heads). Our local cheese store probably has a total of 12 different cheese curd flavors available with 5 of them for sale each day besides the plain ones. I like the plain ones best, but my favorite flavor is honey barbecue and my wife likes the buffalo flavored ones. We are snowbords, currently in Florida for the winter and going thru major withdrawal symptoms due to lack of good cheese!

You can always ship gouda cheese from cowsandcocreamery.com down to Florida and see how it matches up with Wisconsins best!

Great video! The video was 23 minutes. In real time, what was the actual span of time that the process took? Piet is Casey your brother?

You should just send me a bunch of different curds cuz I'm on a fixed income and I'm interested in trying American made dairy products.
