SAW XI: Getting Jiggy with It
Like Dr. Gordon being such a great surgeon that he could write numbers on dental root while the teeth were still intact in a victim’s mouth, Jigsaw was such a great engineer that he built functional HD TV by himself while having cancer during 2000s.
The guy literally could see the future and invented the flat screen HDTV back in 1997, but people only remember him for the death games.

In a barn! With a box of scraps!
What happened to Jigsaw’s nephew is completely unrealistic. Batwoman has shown us that if you get in a motorcycle wreck, you can just walk it off.
Yeah but Batwoman was a woman. They can survive being t-boned by a garbage truck with only a scratch on the eyebrow. Men on the other hand... Well we saw.
What's even more absurd is that he could have just fixed the brakes for like 100 bucks max and he would have been able to sell it for several thousand dollars instead of settling for 600 and a lawsuit.
Also I'm pretty sure lasers don't kill you, one can go right through your torso and you'll just be hospitalized for a day and be completely fine afterwards.
haha So true x)
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if people in the Saw franchise can be caught using a cardbaord box propped up by a stick on a string, and a trail of M&Ms leading to it.
Well...the writer's strike is over so that is definitely a possibility. They haven't fully stolen all of Wiley Coyote's tricks yet.
"Oooh, piece of candy!"
And here I was thinking there was a trap like that in this franchise 🤔😦
Jigsaw: “Those M&Ms you ate belonged to my niece. She cried after finding out they were gone. So now you will be put through a series of tests, and we shall see if you’ll be the one crying by the end”
Spoiler alert!
59:29
Jigsaw: saved a main character guy because he considered that the main guy didn’t deserve to be punished for “an honest mistake”.
If only he gave the same chance to
- A guy who got drugged and killed by Amanda in Saw 1 (who did nothing wrong by the way).
- A girl who convulsed to death by Sarin gas in Saw 2.
- Jeff in Saw 3, who didn’t grieve “correctly”.
- A guy who killed Jeff’s son in an accident in Saw 3, who already served his time and redeemed himself.
- Rigg in Saw 4, for trying to save everyone.
- A smoker in Saw 6.
- A wife who got cooked to death in Saw 7 just for having a liar husband.
Oh sh*t, I forgot Adam. That guy’s only mistake was not knowing that the key to the chain was in the bathtub and Jigsaw locked him to death, not saving him after failing the trap like the main guy in this movie got.
Don’t forget a guy following the company’s health insurance policy (which he doesn’t make), or a woman for… being fat. As if you couldn’t possibly turn around from eating too much food, lol. What BMI do you have to hit, and remain for how long, before Jigsaw decides you’re a lost cause?
Let's not forget that Jigsaw knew that Amanda fucked up with Adam's key and didn't intervene.
in this case, I think the "honest mistake" wasnt from the apprentice, it was from jigsaw.
Its just worded really shittedly.
"you dont deserve to die just because I fucked up" rather than "you dont deserve to die because you fucked up"
- "A guy who got drugged and killed by Amanda in Saw 1 (who did nothing wrong by the way)."
Fair point, i don't know who this guy was. But John Kramer doesn't choice innocent people just like that, if you understand the character you know he just doesn't take random people into his game. Sadly the movie missing information here, but if he's here to die, it's probably that he done somethin so bad, that john kramer didn't wanted to let him a chance. i guess he can do that .
- "A girl who convulsed to death by Sarin gas in Saw 2."
It was the game. and they failed to have antitode.
Also the black hair girl is in the game because she's a prostitute and if i remember, also a junkie or a drug user (probably heroin) where she probably could have ended better.
Or maybe you speak about the blonde one, who was also drug user (still heroin probably cause looks like cocain or weed smoker aren't punished in saw and there's always serynge around so... heroin)
-"Jeff in Saw 3, who didn’t grieve “correctly”."
He was neglecting his daughter and wife and even is own life due to him gettin consumed by the grief and probably would have killed all the people he thought responsible for the death of his son if jigsaw didn't gave him the opportunities to let go and give pardon to thoses he juged gulity and wanted dead.
Also Jeff is alive at the end of Saw 3, he won the game. it's the inspector "i forgot the name but not hoffman, the other who investigate on him" who killed Jeff. So what are you even talking about here.
- "A guy who killed Jeff’s son in an accident in Saw 3, who already served his time and redeemed himself."
His time in jail was shortened to fucking 6 months. he redeemed nothing . I would love to see you in the same situation. Losing your son , and seeing the guy who killed him only taking 6 month.
So easy to talk when you don't live the situation. But so hard to put yourself in the shoes of another person with another point of view apparently.
- "Rigg in Saw 4, for trying to save everyone."
first He didn't Saved everyone, he codamned that abusive guy in the motel for exemple.
two he has a life and a wife and he just throw that away cause he thought he was that super hero who can save everyone. Even Jigsaw doesn't pretend to that.
I think, Even some super heroes knows it's impossible.
And the moral isn't that, Jigsaw wanted rigg to stay back while jigsaw was taking care of them. he wanted rigg to applicate the jigsaw method
BUT SPOILER, THIS GAME WAS ORGANIZED BY HOFFMAN AND NOT JIGSAW HIMSELF.
So again, what are you even talking about here?
- "A smoker in Saw 6."
i think, and that's an hypothesis, but that the real end of Saw 6, the good end of the game, was if the guy who is the boss of the health care assurance sacrified himself. first it would make sense since he was the one refusing to cover health problem of people who deserved it, cause of the policy he HIMSELF written, and so condamning people to death. Second if he had done that, None of the other step of the game would have been put in motion, basically saving anyone and the smoker too. His selfishness is what caused the other to die cause he wanted to live. For him. Killing so much people on the way for Him only to live.
And that's probably why at the end of the movie, the choice of should he live or die isn't in his control.
He didn't learned his lesson to be clear.
Yeah it may be one of the most vangeful game john kramer planed, but again it was realised by hoffman, who is, like amanda, known for rigging games.
- "A wife who got cooked to death in Saw 7 just for having a liar husband."
Actually this one is unfair cause we don't know if she was good or bad
so in absence of proof that she deserved it, yeah it's maybe one of the unfair people who shouldn't been here
But you know something that everyone doesn't care cause it's always easier to juge than research to see what went wrong?
Saw 7 was planed to be in 2 part actually (it was said in one of the making off or commentaries, i don't remember the name or which one, i saw that in a saw iceberg and the director or i don't remember said that they had to compress and rush a lot of things in One part when Two was planed.) so Saw 7 as it is, is incomplete and probably lacks the information we need to understand why the hell she was there.
-"Oh sh*t, I forgot Adam. That guy’s only mistake was not knowing that the key to the chain was in the bathtub and Jigsaw locked him to death, not saving him after failing the trap like the main guy in this movie got."
Ohhh , yeah you mean the key bathroom who was placed by Amanda , who is known for riggin the game? (and noticed by John Kramer himself)
cause yeah, Saw 1 game was made with john kramer but mostly Amanda as an apprentice. Who, again, Like hoffman, is known for riggin games. + Adam had a saw, he could have done the same thing as doctor Gordon done, cuttin his feet and walk away, well, Crawl away free. He didn't, Game Over.
None of those are comparable with the guy being saved cause jigsaw made a mistake on this one. He would have been unfairly killed if he didn't saved him.
Next Time pay attention to the fucking movies. you and the 100+ people who liked your comment .
(PS: English isn't my native english so sorry for the fault and mistakes.)

That would be amazing. With all the silly shit this series has done, this would be some silly shit that actively improves the series. No more having to twist the plot into pretzels by establishing how John Kramer had a hand in the latest movie, you can just get right into the traps. These movies waste so much time trying to establish twists on who is operating as trapmaster when it could be building up the players in the game.
John Kramer in Saw 3D to Hoffman: "that's a human being!"
Kramer here in Jigsaw, saving a guy for "an honest mistake" but let's the last man in the game slowly die for something outside of his control. He's missing a leg, and dying to the elements and starvation because the girl took away his change to decide to use the gun. Amazing game Jigsaw.

John Jigsaw spared a guy in this movie because he didn't wake up on time.
The guy in the first movie died because he didn't wake up fast enough. He lost a key which could have only been retrieved if he had immediately seen it and chosen to grab it immediately upon waking up. Anyone who isn't a cat would lose that key.
There is legit one way they could have improved this twist. Have the Billy puppet be closer to the less sinister original design John made for Gideon. That would give fans a chance to guess the twist.

Ikr! What sense does that make. They make Jigsaw more of a hypocrite. That or he has favorites.
Leg guy was easily the most entertaining character for sure. At least he got to be the last one standing (so to speak)
@@marywinchester1322 It makes complete sense. Gordon COMPLETED his game. This guy never completed the game with a victory. Kramer only pulled 1 victim early, and it was because he realized he was being an asshole about sticking Logan in a game. Had Gordon not completed his game in a way John found satisfactory, he would've left him, too. After all, Adam completed his game too, the key going down the drain wasn't his fault, but Adam also turned around and tried to shoot him.
It's....... not that difficult. There were a lot of people John could've pulled and saved. He didn't because they didn't complete their games to satisfaction.
@@nachgeben Gordon completed his game because there’s only one game for him. That poor guy who cut his leg off had to play more game after that and even if the lady didn’t pull the trigger in the last game, he’s dead anyway because the lady would find a way to kill him since he knows her secret. Imagine if the movie had mostly been a look at these two groups (past and present) going through the exact same traps with some small hints (technology, clothing, etc.) at these taking place 10 years apart. It might be kind of fun to have some actual strong characters in each group that clash or work together based on their actual character. Could even get the best of both worlds and have one group be really smart (present group would make the most sense for success considering how well known John Kramer is at this point in time) while the other fails spectacularly. Maybe I'm being stupid, but I thought the 'honest mistake' was supposed to refer to Jigsaw, not himself. That mistake being that he drugged Logan too hard, so he couldn't wake up in time to give him a fair chance at the trap, and so felt guilty enough to spare him?
I know that trying to find clarity of events and continuity within this franchise could be it's own 'Saw trap', but just wanted to test and see what's worse, my film comprehension or this script.
Wait, if Jigsaw had a nephew, then does that mean he has a sibling that's never been brought up until this movie? Or could he be referring to the son of one of Jill Tuck's siblings? Because if it's the former, then they legitimately could pull the twin brother plot twist in Saw XI.

I really hate that this movie totally changes John Kramer's goal with the games. Here it is all about "confessing your crimes", whereas it used to be about "cherishing your life." They character assassinated John!
Also, the idea that this game is supposed to be the original one, taking place even before Cecil's, is absurd.
Finally, I really hate that Logan didn't even have to be tested before being recruited by John. He is simply nursed back to health and suddenly they are brothers in arms. Logan somehow managed to make me miss Hoffman.
I think 3 might have finally been dethroned as the worst Saw film. This movie gets nothing right about the Saw formula. Couldn't even bother to say Game Over.
@@blizzardregulus I don't agree with the EFAP gang that 'Saw III' is the worst of the first seven movies, but I'd say 'Jigsaw' is the worst of the whole series (although, I haven't seen 'Saw X' yet...).

Capture them put them in the trap. And even more difficult grab and hold the groups together, like does he grab them all at once or one by one? 😂

Those two characters do look similar enough. You can also have the back-alley brain surgery from Lynn Dimmadome actually cure Jigsaw as well to drop the cancer plot and move on from there. It always feels bad when the movie has made your opinion of it so low that you attribute the hints at the twist to meta incompetence. e.g. They noticed the inconstancy in the lasers but didn't even consider it was on purpose because the rest of the movie was sludge.
Reminder going into this. Jigsaw died 5 movies ago.
I'd just like to remind the gentle viewer that Jigsaw decided in Saw 3 that a woman deserved to die because she refused to testify in a court case for which the man who killed the main character's son was convicted anyways.
But the dude who messed up his x-rays so that his cancer went undiagnosed for many years didn't deserve to die for making a mistake.

I like how Jigsaw is aware of all the crimes his victims committed (i.e. the woman who murdered her baby and framed her husband) but didn't bring it to any authorities...

Didn't the husband hang himself?
@@IamaCosmonaut Oh, he did? If that's the case, then sorry for my mistake.
Even so, the fact that Jigsaw inexplicably has dirt on all those people (how???) and deals out his own 'justice' without much care for helping their victims is pretty messed up.

"The real Jigsaw killer was the friends we all met along the way."
This movie with lasers are just as modern as Moonraker was with its lasers.
I'm with Rags at this point. How braindead the people in the traps are is killing my interest.
People die in grain silos because the air is unbreathable.
And no, there does not need to be a downflow of grain for grain entrapment or engulfment to occur, it just has to have happened at some point to leave the grain loose. The scenario in _A Quiet Place_ is entirely plausible. There's a reason so many people die in grain silos, they are extremely deadly in multiple ways. What's happening in this film would actually be far MORE deadly than what this movie is letting on. No you can't stand on it, no you can't swim in it, no you cant just push it around or roll on top of it, and it would be filling the air with choking dust. These people would be dead.
I want my terminator Hoffman back
A lot of these Jigsaw contraptions really don't deserve to be called traps. They don't trick people, they don't surprise or catch people, they're just death machines.

Ah Jigsaw: The biography of Gay Pinto Walsh
The dolphins from the 3D Final Destination were a Jigsaw game all along! Well played!
Look, all the other traps I've seen in these movies have been pretty dubious at best as to if they would actually work, let alone if they could function in any real capacity.
But the motorcycle powered trap that kills the black guy is one that I can clearly call bullshit on. The spinny spiral of death is spun the the rear wheel of the motorcycle. The lady jams a rod in the rear wheel stopping it from spinning. The rear wheel stops spinning, trap stopped, game won right? Yes actually, the rear wheel being locked up would stall the engine which means the trap couldn't start back up. But no, FoR sOmE reAsoN, the engine is still running and somehow breaks a metal pipe in half (solid steel or hollow lead I don't know nor do I care because a piece of wood would still keep the stopped wheel from moving), killing Mitch.
Also, Mr Jiggothan Saw, we need to talk about your nephew for a second. So you're telling me, it's Mitch's fault that he bought a motorcycle, then road said motorcycle on public roads, WITHOUT CHECKING THE BRAKES FIRST! While I'm going on about brakes, on a motorcycle the front and rear brakes are two seperate system. Meaning if you have a problem with the front brake the rear brake will not be affected and still operable. We clearly see the front brake lever go all the way in, providing no stopping power. But he could have used the rear brake to slow down enough to avoid or minimise the accident in the first place. Not to mention if the rear brake was also gone, he could have use the engine brake to slow down. Or, you know, turn to avoid the accident?. I've been in a damn near exact same situation as he found himself in on that bike, and let me tell you, you have plenty of time between when you should be braking and when you would hit the thing you are goint towards.
Anyways, congrats to Anna on being the first, I believe, to try and break the traps in the series thus far. She did succeed but movie bullshit got in the way of an actually smart character moment.
The Jig is up with this movie.
I hate it so much I’m not even gonna try a good pun with this one.
For real though, this movie has nothing that makes the original 7 even somewhat entertaining. No ongoing character plot lines, no rancid colour and set design, no cool set locations like the abandoned Zoo or Saw house, and certainly no cool traps or characters (maybe except Hoffmann 0.5, his voice was cool).
The traps don’t even feel consistent with the engineering style of John. It’s something the movies could do more, having eras of Jigsaw killers with slightly different quirks to their engineering or design. Kinda got that with Amanda’s rigged traps.
These are the Sequel trilogy movies of the Saw franchise. It’s hard to believe they even happened and they are not good.
Saw in 2023
"Hello. I want to play a game."
"You, who have posted derogatory things about women online, will now face the consequences for your actions."
"Will you allow yourself to be chemically castrated or, to stop it. Press enter on your work laptop. Which will then download 100TB of CP onto it's hard drive. The choice is yours."
No, no, that's one where they just straight die without any chance or opportunity for redemption. Like the racists.
@@Zara-Bari Yes. As pretty much every saw trap after 6 is this way. And the majority throughout the series are. Absolutely impossible to escape.
And you know somebody murdering you for being mean to women definitely has 100TB of CP on hand.
When in the end the guy splits open I expected him to turn in a Resident Evil monster...
I was surprised nobody said Demogorgon
Im so happy Jon CJG has found a place online besides Arby n the Chief
I haven't seen Saw X but from the trailers it looks like Tobin Bell is back again. If it's another twist and he still hasn't been revived, they do need to resurrect him. Like Mauler said, make him a Sawborg
Saw X is set before his death in Saw III. Tobin Bell is in most of Saw X.
@@TheVleckChannel oooh yay! I hope he has another new accomplice (don't spoil it please)
I still think that the last one, Saw X, should of had a once on a lifetime return of Wolf. Imagine how insane the view count would be to see Wolf show up for the best film of the series. It would definitely be epic! ^-^
who is wolf?
True, but I prefer Wolf to be happy if he just prefers to edit.
@@heikira438 I’m sure Wolf can make an extremely rare exception, one on which we’d only get once.
@@jcphizzy9496a member of EFAP. He was one of the original members and stuff happened and he wanted to leave
@@namecomingsoon9517 from context I’m assuming it was issues with the audience or social media and he found being in front of the camera (so to speak) too stressful, rather than a problem with the boys
Jigsaw reminds me of anime Miss Critical Days. Oldie but goldie. There's no serial killer, just a chain of unlikeable, but realistic events that happens to extremely unlucky protagonist while teaching the audience of capabilities of human body.
I searched for it but I found Miss Critical Moment, is it the same?
Don’t you mean miss critical moment ?
@@giulizpaviz6381 yup, Ippatsu Kiki Musume
"An honest mistake."
So Jigsaw saved one of his own victims, because he made a mistake with the dosage of tranquilizer...
But then Miranda had to kill Adam, because the key got flushed down with the bathwater... which wasn't a mistake?
“He died 10 years ago, because John Kramer fucked up?”
“Well-[youtube cuts to Carl’s Jr. commercial]YEEAAH!”
Well played, efap. Diabolical editing spanning into UA-cam ads. Impressive.
Where did you learn to Jigsaw... IN A FARM!?
I give this one an "I speak for the dead" out of ten.
I can't be the only one who thinks that Jigsaw might be the most bland and boring one in the franhise right? Like, I just watched this movie almost of month ago along with the rest of others to prepare for Saw X, and aside from the lame twist, I couldn't remember a single thing that happened in the plot.
There was a plot?
An interesting comparison to make with this movie would be final destination 5 where they actually went to the trouble of making sure the technology fit the year it was supposed to be in
I just got home from a fantastic friendiversary outing with a person I've been friends with for over 20 years, so my belly is full of delicious Mexican food, and we've finally come to a Saw movie I haven't watched! Can't wait to see if this is one of the good ones.
I always assumed that the saws detected touch and sent the signal for the helmets to open. similar to table saws with safety mechanism.
you guys should react to saw timeline videos. This move does not make sense timeline wise. My theory is the guy at the end is not really jigsaw apprentice but is a fan and is so delusional to work with jigsaw, he imagine that he was his apprentice .
The fact that it has 89% of approval on Rotten Tomatoes is enough to discredit that garbage website
Admittedly, I never saw this one
Jigsaw has returned.... TO ME!
10:52 those gears pulling on the chains look like they work by tension like in a motorbike so just walking ahead and letting the chain get loose would save them. Also as our guys pointed out they had a lot of time to wrap the chain around something like the fucking pillar or jam the gears.
I GAME FOR THE OVER. Let's get Joggy wit it baby!
Let’s not and say that we did. XD
The should have had Jigsaw upload his personality into the puppet or something ridiculous
I honestly think they should have just had John Kramer actually be alive.
It's not like it would be too ridiculous compared to all the other bullshit in the series currently.
I watched Saw X last night, lads, they actually fixed most of the problems with the series in that one, it was very good! easily the best Saw imo.
can't wait for this arc's finale, I think the boys will like it.
I loved Saw X. It will be shocking to see them react to an actual good movie. Not only is it the best of the series, but somehow, it became the best movie I’ve seen this year.
Oh my god, it was great! I went just because I wanted to see the traps but I ended up loving it! You actually understand why Jigsaw wants revenge on the characters and it makes sense.
@@hungtotheover3385at first I thought it would be kinda lame to see Jigsaw off a bunch of actual dirtbags, but it actually makes sense, because you don't feel bad for them and John can take the spotlight
As someone who hasn't watched Saw X, are you guys trolling or for real?
@@SolarDragon007 Yes, or stupid. Take your pick lmao
Idk what exactly goes on over in whale country that would explain tuesday actually being the upload date instead of wednesday, but im not complaining.
The Longman delivers! 🎉
This has probably been my favorite efap series and that says alot
This movie is arguably more competent than the garbage fire of Saw 3D, but it's so aggressively mediocre that it somehow manages to be a worse watching experience. Very curious.
I honestly think Saw 7 was still better cause at least it’s goofiness makes it entertaining, and it was originally intended to be the end of the series. Jigsaw just feels tonally off and ultimately pointless compared to the original 7 films, and especially Saw X.
I suppose being pointless is the biggest sin it commits.
@@lorecow88 I can agree to that. This film and Spiral are honestly the only films that I suggest to the favs, which most would agree, to be removed from cannon. Jigsaw easily feels more like a cash grab Vs the other films.
The twist was really dumb as well, to be fair.
I don't even think it is arguable.
What's even competent about this?
Ngl 45:18 to 46:24 was kinda cool. The “Dead guy” getting up will always be a cool visual. Especially in the first film.
idk if it's just me, but Jiggy's voice in this reminds me of BatWahman Ned Flanders..
Yay one that I hadn't seen. Still loving the editing, nice little orange cat reference in there ☺
I wish they went down the supernatural route. Would cover some of the plot holes.
Wolf come back to EFAP. You're to good for editing.
Goddammit, I literally have class at 3:30
You should tell your teacher that going to class is distasteful……………….to you.
Watch it in class, that’s what I’m doing lmao

No, no, clearly he is a murderer. According to Saw people who cause the deaths of others indirectly are still murderers….unless they intentionally indrectly caused their death, then they are not murderers.
the lesson that guy learned is to not oversleep
It’s almost amazing how in a franchise with sloppy retconning, thinly-veiled nihilism masked as morality, retarded drama and retarded victims (2 and 3), that Jigsaw and Spiral managed to be truly awful and ultimately the worst entries. Bravo, producers.
"Jigsaw: Multiverse of Traps"
Just walk through the flimsy barn wall...
Whoever made the traps in this one is the least imaginative dip on the planet. Producers, directors, writers, or whoever the hell just bad-bad traps.
After going through all of these I'm convinced that whoever had that hyena sackle laugh was only a part of this to annoy me
