I think i found a better way to make a disc launcher for your blasters. All you have to do is use those couplers, make slots for the discs (probably the couplers will hold 2-3discs) using either epoxy putty, or a pvc lid. I believe that should work.❄️🔥
Thank you so much for posting these build tutorial videos! Grazie mille!! Not much luck with local plumbing suppliers; they'd have to order in. If you happen to have part numbers for bushings at the McMaster-Carr website, I could just do that myself. Sorry if this is a bother.
I could not even find the right bushings on McMaster-Carr website. They are easy enough to find and order from Home Depot though. Part# 203851181 for the bushing and Part# 100342704 for the coupler.
I am trying to build a bazooka like yours and trying to get it to fire demolisher missiles. I am wondering what the best way to do this would be and how to lug the over pressure valve to maximize the performance and range of the missile.
Well mine does fire Demolisher missiles and the drain blasters I have you can just tighten the over pressure valve until it no longer releases. I don't honestly know the range of my bazooka. I tested it in my alley which is 30yds long and the missile ended up way past that in someone else's yard...I never got it back. I estimate the range was at least 40-45yds. Which is pretty good for a Nerf missile.
It depends on the darts. The Elite Barrel is the rocket stem from a BuzzBee Blast Bazooka. The Whistle Barrel is the barrel from a Stampede. The Mega Barrel is 3/4 in PVC. Each then attached to the appropriate sized PVC bushing. I just took the barrels to Home Depot to figure out the appropriate sizes.
1. Probably? But the upper part of the Drain Blaster is the exact same diameter as the Barricades cylinder so it fits perfectly. However, I am sure you could cut a recon is such a way that it would fit. 2. Yes. As you will see in my next video.
There is only one screw going into the drain blaster and that is in the back on a section that is not part of the tank. Screwing into the tank would weaken it and probably lead to leaks. Most of what holds the blaster in is the shell of the Barricade.
Ah! Yeah it goes into the plastic a little. The nipple is purely there to provide an attachment point for the various attachments that come with the drain blaster. You can drill into it without damaging the air tank.
...probably? I would be curious to see what would happen when the dart cleared the AR. If all the pressure would escape before the AR closed or if there was too much if it would bleed into the next barrel. If it does work it might be worth trying to attach a whole cylinder to each barrel. Then you would not have to change cylinders just pump it up. Might save time. Alternatively you would have a hell of an drain blaster sniper rifle. I'll have to give it a try.
@@Kamui_Kazi Oh goodness, I forgot about this post lol! I stopped looking about 3 months after this thread. But now, 4 years later, just typing "drain blaster" in google nets a good number of hits. The first 3 are on amazon
I have no idea. I have yet to try. I have 2 dozen Mavericks that I have no problem scrapping for cylinders. I do not have as many Strongarms. I do have a Rebelle Guardian cylinder lying around and as far as I know they are basically the same as the Strongarm. I could try that. I suspect the Maverick will prove better because it has longer barrels. The Strongarm/Guardian/Hammershot barrels are not the full length of the dart. The tips are exposed. However, I could be wrong and the only way to be sure is to test it!
THE IRON MONGER no offense taken. I didn't use epoxy because I didn't have any and because super glue works just fine. If you prefer epoxy then by all means use epoxy.
Can't wait for your upcoming vids
thank you so much for making this video
You are welcome. There will be an addendum soon as people pointed out a few details I missed and/or had additional questions.
Yay! Your posting videos now!
What did you say that piece was that attaches to the drain blaster front? Great vid Chaylo

Not picturing it. Can you sketch it? I would love a disk shotgun! EIR can fire one but multiple would be awesome!
Of course, ill have that in my next video.
Show us more of the arm mounted Rampage!
*adds to the list* Will do!
Chaylo is awesome and you know how walcom complained about not having a boomco which meant I have an idea boomCo. twisted spinner turret
Wait for it...

Oddly enough, the bushing is not available from their Canadian website, but the coupler is (under a different description and PN).
Captain Xavier your so cool
Mizter Wizter Why thank you. :)
Captain Xavier why do you dislike the rapidstrike
hey man subed cause of what I saw of you on walcoms Chanel

How do you make one of those single dart adapters?
Also what are the diameters required?
It depends on the darts. The Elite Barrel is the rocket stem from a BuzzBee Blast Bazooka. The Whistle Barrel is the barrel from a Stampede. The Mega Barrel is 3/4 in PVC. Each then attached to the appropriate sized PVC bushing. I just took the barrels to Home Depot to figure out the appropriate sizes.
A question about the Drain Blaster itself: How do you attatch the pvc at the tip? Do you cut it or just glue it straight on?
I glue a small section of 3/4 PVC onto the end and then tack it in place with two screws.
Captain Xavier so, the screws are just for extra security to make sure the parts don't fly everywhere?
You consider using 8 round cylinders from a firefly? I've got two of them and they're what I'll be using.
...um...yes...the second cylinder from the left is a Firefly cylinder...which I mention at 00:48.
Forgive my derp. Must have somehow missed that
Well they are usually clear...and I talk kinda fast...
That, and I'm sleep deprived.
in any case, this assures me that what I'm doing will work, so thanks.
Alright two things
1. Could I use a recon shell instead of a barricade?
2. Can I use hammershot cylinders?
1. Probably? But the upper part of the Drain Blaster is the exact same diameter as the Barricades cylinder so it fits perfectly. However, I am sure you could cut a recon is such a way that it would fit.
2. Yes. As you will see in my next video.
Chaylo Laurino awesome!
Lol you could make a magnum superdrum absolver.
It would but the range would drop harder than the Twin Towers.
Swaggy Melbourne Operator HOLY SHIT that joke was dark.
+StoneAxe23 Gaming Lmao Sorry I know... I could've said Pokémon GO servers or something instead but I wanted to try that one out.
My strong arm just stop catching do you think that the barrel would work as an absolver?
Yes
Will a guardian crossbow cylinder work?
Yes
Where do you find the PVC Bushing? Could you give me a link?
Home Depot is where I get them.
What size of cap did you use for the Maverick cylinder ?
Not sure, I took the cylinder into the hardware store and found the one that fit.
Captain Xavier
No worries 👍🏻👍🏻
are the screws on the drain blaster screwed into the plastic? Or just tightened against it.
There is only one screw going into the drain blaster and that is in the back on a section that is not part of the tank. Screwing into the tank would weaken it and probably lead to leaks. Most of what holds the blaster in is the shell of the Barricade.
Captain Xavier I mean on the 3/4 pvc on the little nipple thing where the air comes out
Ah! Yeah it goes into the plastic a little. The nipple is purely there to provide an attachment point for the various attachments that come with the drain blaster. You can drill into it without damaging the air tank.
Captain Xavier thank you I was worried that it was part of the tank. did you countersink the screws?
Kinda? I drilled into the PVC with a bit about the same size as the screw head so it would be fully recessed and not block the bushings.
Could you make one with a smart ar?
...probably? I would be curious to see what would happen when the dart cleared the AR. If all the pressure would escape before the AR closed or if there was too much if it would bleed into the next barrel. If it does work it might be worth trying to attach a whole cylinder to each barrel. Then you would not have to change cylinders just pump it up. Might save time. +Chaylo Laurino (Captain Xavier) Cool, I hope it works
A mag to shot gun 50 cal foam
So...the link in the description says they are out of stock. Do you have another source to get the drain blasters from?
Not yet...still looking. I suspect all the people I have sent there has wiped them out. :P
That is a large possibility hehe. I'm digging on my end as well. I will share if I find a source.
Thanks!
Any luck finding a source

Is maverick better than strongarm's cilinder?
I have no idea. I have yet to try. I have 2 dozen Mavericks that I have no problem scrapping for cylinders. I do not have as many Strongarms. Chaylo Laurino Huh, interesting, really considering scraping those goodwill mavericks now.
Why not use 1 minute epoxy??
For what?
Captain Xavier the gluing of the pvc
Feel free...I'm not going to stop you...

I didn’t mean to offend you
