I appreciate the length. If it was too hrs long, I’d listen. I love learning. Too bad for people who want just the synopsis.

This was incredibly valuable. It has affirmed most of my life lessons. Slowing down is painful but so valuable. This was great

I have been listening to these all the way through. Though I generally prefer short videos, I love these deep dives. I listen to them when I do my big, weekly floor cleaning and it makes a drudge task much more enjoyable.

I would think that because of the rarity of this type, a longer discussion would actually be super helpful. Still this is a stellar episode, very useful information. 🎉

Thanks guys! I'm really appreciative of all the great quality (in depth) content you are giving in this series.
My father in law is an ENTJ. I and especially my wife feel an incredible burden of expectation being placed upon us of valuesignaling "the kind of person we should be, and the things we should be doing". He is also really tough on himself, although he learned to relax a bit later in life.
He himself is a good example of "a human doing".
He really does mean well and I don't think the pressure is consciously done. He does a lot for us out of love, but the part we rarely see is the perspective shifting and just "being" and letting be. There always has to be a proces of taking steps of getting further. Standing still (according to his view) and "enjoying", "being" is never an option for anyone except his 2 year old grandson.
I guess it doesn't help that my wife is an INFJ and I'm an ENTP. Not the most relatable types for an ENTJ 😅

I’m always selective with information I share. I use it to build rapport very quickly or to encourage other people to let down their defenses.
I use the phrase “information is power” about every day at work as a police officer.

This explains so much! Im INFP who was in relationship with ENTJ. The opposites were stark! My Driver of Authenticity could not deal with 3 year old ENTJ. Our commonr copiliots were the best part. We seemed to expect the opposite aspects to compensate but we didnt agree on how to do that in the world. It was as if feeling states were dismissed and vulnerability (my super power) was held in contempt. Ouch. Thanks for the clarity.

Selective vulnerabilty? Just the thought of being vulnerable makes me cringe, so I guess I need to work on it. I’m a female ENTJ and I recently retired. I’m glad I don’t have to stress too much about my 3-year old function, i.e. I don’t have to bite my tongue that much 😁😁

Pretty much every time we release a podcast someone asks if it could be shorter, either in comments or via email.
Unfortunately, I am afflicted with always using 1,000 words when 10 would have sufficed. :P

@@Personalityhacker The advantage of you using a 1000 words though is more interesting info and insights slips out over time the more you talk. Complainers can also just increase playback speed if in a hurry.
