Completely changed the game. Field goal or potential go for it and miss on 4th down and the score stays tight. The 8 points that ensued put the game out of reach for Zach Wilson. One of several times the refs helped the Dallas O stay on the field on a busted 3rd down. Refs came back to help the Jets in the 4th quarter but not until it was already garbage time. Thanks for nothing lol
I'm not sure on the pressure part but he was in the pocket and the ball was nowhere near a receiver. If you remember, before they were allowed to spike the ball to stop the clock they would throw it over the head of the receiver to stop it.
A lot of games are decided every weekend by horrible calls. No wonder so many are tuning out of the NFL. Just makes it look like the games are all rigged.
2:09 As a TCU fan, I recall a game where Baylor grabbed our receiver's jersey and pulled him back and we were flagged. Thankfully they reviewed it and got it corrected. The officials are ruining the game one B.S. call at a time. It's also clear they play favorites as some teams hold almost every play and dont get called while others are called for any tiny infraction.

It just gets worse every year because there is no accountability. All Roger Goodell cares about is money. It’s greed all the way down. The only way to stop it at this point is to boycott the NFL. Really hoping one day someone with a huge audience organizes a 1 week boycott of the entire NFL, somewhere around Week 3 or 4. Nobody goes to a game, nobody watches a game, nobody interacts with any NFL related media for 1 week. Then those greedy mofos will finally fix the problem.
They would show sneed clamp play on Ridley but they won’t show Marvin jones choking n pulling Bryan cook from behind to stop a easy interception 🤦♂️ Cook was hurt after Jones choke tackle
And yet there's far more that wasn't in the video is quite telling. It shows how bad/biased the Refs are anymore. Paid to make certain calls upon certain conditions. All to either make one team the clear winner or to influence high-scoring games on both sides.
I'm honestly amazed there isn't any plays from the dolphins pats game. Cause There were two that could be argued. The supposed first down the patriots had on their last possession as well as the Very Illegal td that Hunter Henry had where he blocked a DB around 5 yards ahead of the line of scrimmage as well as the fact the entire offensive line was in front of the line as well. On a passing play that would be considered 6 ineligible receivers downfield. I didn't see the TD issue at first, but then it was brought to my attention and I'm just surprised the refs are THAT blind
Reading these comments makes me happy. No matter what predispositions you have for or against one team, NFL fans always seem to unite against refs and their terrible calls.
$9 Billion industry apparently cannot utilize all available tools to ensure correct calls by officials. And we really don’t need these referee apologists attached to the broadcast team, that is just pathetic. Really effin’ lame.
6:44 I actually agree with the false start call. The Texans defender jumped, but he got back. Quentin Nelson, rather than flinching as if the play had started or he had been provoked by the defender, immediately gets up and starts pointing fingers at the defender. He didn't even try to make it look like he was drawn into false starting.
Yea but what Nelson did happens all the time. If you cross and it causes an offensive linemen to move it’s a penalty on the defense. What Nelson did happens several times a week that’s why it’s a dumb call. It’s also better to stand and point because it draws attention to the gym and basically asks the line judge to confirm if the defender crossing caused it.
I also agree with the false start, but for a different reason. Nelson lifted his butt ever so slightly, and one could say it's what drew the defender offside. If not for that, Nelson and the center touched the defender while he was offside, in my opinion.
I can't handle this much ineptitude all at once. My angina killin me half way through this shit and I don't root for any of the teams I saw so far. Even significantly dislike a few of the teams and still can't watch what the refs doing to them.
It's amazing how many of these penalties are for PI. Not sure what a defender is supposed to do in this league anymore besides stand there and hope they drop the pass.
That's essentially it. NFL want high scoring games, not low scoring defensive showdowns like 15+ years ago. I remember watching a handful of games that ended 3-0. Now every game shas to have 20+ points per side.
10:00 I really do not get where they are seeing this "contact at the end of the route". From almost every camera angle, you can see that, at most, he touches him a tiny bit before the ball comes. It actually appears to be a well timed play by the CB. Sure, the overturning of the penalty was odd, but its the right call from every angle we can see. Why do people get so mad when they go in an correct a bad original call?
There needs to be more justification around what makes PI vs not. That ball is under-thrown, which means to catch the receiver needs to basically halt his momentum forward… for there NOT to be contact there the corner would have to not be ready to tackle him. I don’t see how underthrown balls can have DPI in that sense.
@@baileyduvall01 the wr is entitled to be able to catch the ball. QBs are taught to under throw rather than overthrow for that reason. Sucks for the defender, but they should have their eyes on the ball and not the wr.
@@TheSjuris I dont know if you’ve ever played corner but it’s fuckin impossible to watch the ball and cover a great route runner. The WR gets all the advantage why does he also get the entitlement of the uncatchable ball?
@@baileyduvall01 because he is entitled to make the play. Why is a cb entitled to tackle a wr without a ball in his hand? The wr is defenseless in that position.
It was all I could do to watch this video. It’s bad enough when officials bungle calls on the field, but completely inexcusable when they can’t, or refuse to get it right in the replay booth. Infuriating.
And they didn't want to bring in "the Belichick Rule" aka everything can be reviewed by replay challenge.... the Belichick Rule if brought in, would fix so many howlers
You could make a half hour video on the terrible calls and lack of calls in the Detroit vs Seattle game alone. Even the "I'm talking to America here" call was a BS call.
The fact that Pass Interference is the most subjective penalty in the game along with the potentially most devastating really makes it hard for me to take football too seriously.
With all the bad penalties called this season, someone should make a spread sheet to count which refs and how many bad calls they make during each game. Then you can snuff out the bad apples.
Can someone legit explain to me how the calls get worse and worse as sports betting gets bigger and bigger? I haven't watched a game in 3 years because it's a joke.
I've said this for years. The NFL has the least accurate play calling ever. When I mean play calling, I'm referring to game making decisions or breaking decisions for that matter are left up to "yea looks like ball should be spotted about here, sure looks good." Things like that. It's not an accurate way to judge a game
I first one was a 50/50 call, could have gone either way. One of the things I look for in a roughing the passer is when was he hit. The nfl rule book states a QB can get hit within 3 Mississippis after throwing the ball. Watching the replay The Jets player hit dak at the end of my third Mississippi. So it really could have gone either way. The 2 roughing the passer was a bad call
As a Browns fan, I'm still angry about Cooper being clearly in bounds right in front of the ref. Sure, maybe he wouldn't have gotten a touchdown, but he would've gotten like 10 more yards off the play.
The Lions game was something else. Even though the Seahawks got that one call for intentional grounding which was stupid; the rest of that game was all penalties on the Lions.
the stupid thing about PI is that there should be NO contact before the ball gets there. neither side should be using their hands for any kind of leverage. any kind of usage of hands should be automatic PI/holding. it might take some ugly games before it gets cleaned up, but it needs to get cleaned up. kinda like when hockey finally got rid of hooking/holding as obstruction. it took a year of strict enforcement but it's become much more watchable now that star players are free to move with all their skills.
People forget that an entire half of the pass interference rule is that the pass has to be catchable, I'd much rather refs not throw flags when the ball is 40 yards out of bounds and the reciever has no chance at catching it.
It is painful how blatant some of these things are. Refs should be fined for every single blatant call they get wrong. Someone please for god fucking sake put some accountability into these court jesters.
Play at 8:57 actually think they got a hard call right. We expect the refs to split hairs too much. This was just great defending and a good correction by the officials.
13:12 as a Vikings fan that should’ve been flagged. I hate the fact that the Chiefs can go away with pretty much anything these days especially with refs like that. If that was my Vikings, I’m sure they would’ve gotten flagged.
6:44 Nelson does twitch there before the defender moves I think this is a good call this is a really close one. The Titans Chargers false start was an awful call nobody on the O-Line even moved
watching that Browns game and Watson complaining about flags. It almost seems like the Refs were saying to him "Star QB's get generous calls, rapists don't"
Honestly as a Bills fan the most ridiculous thing is getting better calls since we became "relevant". You couldn't get a word in edge wise against Tuck Rule Tom. I can only hope the Lions can break out of the ref massacre too.
Ref had actually be a little careful on that "I'm talking to America here." That could be reviewed as a small red flag on his record. Or yellow, idk how the ref union works.

Then those greedy mofos will finally fix the problem.
uhh
They would show sneed clamp play on Ridley but they won’t show Marvin jones choking n pulling Bryan cook from behind to stop a easy interception 🤦♂️ Cook was hurt after Jones choke tackle
the fact that this is a weekly thing is damning… and you’re able to put 15 minutes together…
Love your video Budleewiser and keep up the great work
I lol so hard when ref on mic I talking to American.
Washington were told by refs "we're not calling PI, go nuts" 😂
Reading these comments makes me happy. No matter what predispositions you have for or against one team, NFL fans always seem to unite against refs and their terrible calls.
$9 Billion industry apparently cannot utilize all available tools to ensure correct calls by officials. And we really don’t need these referee apologists attached to the broadcast team, that is just pathetic. Really effin’ lame.
*"And the Washington 'Commanders' hold on, in Denver."*
Unintentionally accurate description...
This is correct. The false start was on the first flinch@@PapaVanTwee5
Russ was having a flash back to the sb interception 😂😂
Why teams keep letting him throw that pass at the goal line I don't understand.
It has very much NOT worked out for him.
We have things we hate when something about football happens but what triggers me the most is BAD CALLS BY THE REFS
@@baileyduvall01 Even still, there is almost no contact. There have been many many more egregious cases of the underthrown no-call PIs than that one.
You missed the Mack Hollins catch which should have been a TD for Falcons against the Packers
That's on the rulemakers, not the refs. The refs actually got the call right as per the rules.
And they didn't want to bring in "the Belichick Rule" aka everything can be reviewed by replay challenge.... the Belichick Rule if brought in, would fix so many howlers
That grounding call on Geno was absolute bullshit
I just noticed now it says FIFTEEN MINUTES!!!! WHAT THE HELL is wrong with these refs?!?!!
They are blind
You could make a half hour video on the terrible calls and lack of calls in the Detroit vs Seattle game alone. Even the "I'm talking to America here" call was a BS call.
I’m Steelers fan but the JPJ at end of browns Steelers game Monday nite was pas interference but ref didn’t see it lol
No, it wasn't. The ball has to be catchable. No way the officials should have bailed out the Browns there.
it still shouldve been holding due to him having a handful of the jersey
God this giants game is gonna be on the list next week. I got the niners n fantasy so I ain't complaining but they're getting major help.
Love this series. Never stop
In my Thursday night ad it did the John cena
I'm a Commanders fan, but that was DPI.
Irony: a 15 minute video showing how horrible part-time officials are… with every commercial / ad promoting gambling on fixed games.
I've said this for years. The NFL has the least accurate play calling ever. When I mean play calling, I'm referring to game making decisions or breaking decisions for that matter are left up to "yea looks like ball should be spotted about here, sure looks good." Things like that. It's not an accurate way to judge a game
'a little bit of contact"? The DB was pulling on him !!!!! rrrrrrrrr
I'm a Cowboys fan, and I disagree with the Roughing The Passer calls on the Jets. They seem like clean hits to me.
I first one was a 50/50 call, could have gone either way.
One of the things I look for in a roughing the passer is when was he hit. The nfl rule book states a QB can get hit within 3 Mississippis after throwing the ball. Watching the replay
The Jets player hit dak at the end of my third Mississippi.
So it really could have gone either way.
The 2 roughing the passer was a bad call
As a Browns fan, I'm still angry about Cooper being clearly in bounds right in front of the ref. Sure, maybe he wouldn't have gotten a touchdown, but he would've gotten like 10 more yards off the play.
ron torbert and his crew have been so bad on so many calls and its only been two weeks lol yet the nfl will never do anything about it
Sports bettiing approved by the NFL. That explains it. The "house" never looses.
Damm so many missed PI calls
that broncos miracle tho but they missed the 2 point conversion
because of the refs. Refs screwed Denver the whole game
Crazy thing is these are no where close to the worse I have seen so far this season.
People forget that an entire half of the pass interference rule is that the pass has to be catchable, I'd much rather refs not throw flags when the ball is 40 yards out of bounds and the reciever has no chance at catching it.
better just be the browns vs steelers game😂
Where is blatant Mike Evans OPI?
It wasn’t look more careful
@@BrandonCommentates1 Shoving the CB to the ground to catch the ball isn't OPI?!?! 😂
The non call against the Steelers at end of the game was horrible. Ref was right there. Awful.
Sorry you paid so much for a bum quarterback lol
@@user-ll4vp6wn2cbro the ball wasnt catchable also contact was before the ball arrived which is illegal
@@user-ll4vp6wn2csorry you paid money for a bum oc and drafted a trash qb
The crazy part.. you can make a 15+ minute video every week from just bad calls…
It is painful how blatant some of these things are. Refs should be fined for every single blatant call they get wrong. Someone please for god fucking sake put some accountability into these court jesters.
It wouldn’t be so bad if the calls didn’t determine the winner so often. It’s just infuriating.
Play at 8:57 actually think they got a hard call right. We expect the refs to split hairs too much. This was just great defending and a good correction by the officials.
I just want them to stop making blatantly bad calls. At least try to make it less obvious...
EVERYTHING SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE REVIEWED. When will the NFL realize that the least effect of the game from the officials the better.
It's rigged
13:12 as a Vikings fan that should’ve been flagged. I hate the fact that the Chiefs can go away with pretty much anything these days especially with refs like that. If that was my Vikings, I’m sure they would’ve gotten flagged.
6:44 Nelson does twitch there before the defender moves I think this is a good call this is a really close one. The Titans Chargers false start was an awful call nobody on the O-Line even moved
#81 on the titans twitched it was close but a good call
You're right. The Texan d lineman moved sideways first the Nelson moved his foot before the lineman jumped.
The Broncos P.I. no call was incredible
watching that Browns game and Watson complaining about flags. It almost seems like the Refs were saying to him
"Star QB's get generous calls, rapists don't"
Explain Roethlisbergers career then
@@Kaz13A FR
@@Kaz13Awell said - expect crickets from the yinzers
Honestly as a Bills fan the most ridiculous thing is getting better calls since we became "relevant". You couldn't get a word in edge wise against Tuck Rule Tom.
I can only hope the Lions can break out of the ref massacre too.
"I'm lying to America"
Ref had actually be a little careful on that "I'm talking to America here." That could be reviewed as a small red flag on his record. Or yellow, idk how the ref union works.
There were so many fucking terrible calls during the Bengals/Ravens game
Not puting the hold on Sweat that lead to a wide open TD for the Vikings is odd.
