No, not really. On low clarinets, the low Eb key, in addition to extending the range, adds a vent to the length of the instrument that stabilizes Clarion B and C. In my opinion, for this alone, low Eb is a must
@@MatthewBanks100 Just bought a selmer alto clarinet with flow e flat, i cant get out low B, and keep squeeking. its open holed so covering the holes is prob likely but any tips?

@@MatthewBanks100 Is gilliotti a good brand? I found one with low eb made out of wood but has some verdigris on some of the keys and near paddings
