    Don’t see the caps pin pulled-do you always leave the handle covered?

    Question for you. Does your Lightspeed Sierra headset allow you to stream via Bluetooth and make phone calls? Highly considering purchasing these.

    Does the Cirrus SR22T have any climbing issues in Colorado?

    • @ColinPrenger
      @ColinPrenger  3 роки тому

      Aspen is about the only SID you can have issues complying with climb gradients IFR. Otherwise it’s very capable in most normal situations. I’ve flown many many hours in the Colorado Rockies and it’s a great performer.

      Taking off max weight 3600 lbs. OK?

    • @ColinPrenger

      @@johnlibra7734 Yes but very much depends on where you’re at. Winter time probably ok, summer time it’s going to be a bit more limited. Since you’re commenting on the steamboat video that’s a pretty short strip to take off MTOW in general.

    Although you see a fake prop, I can tell by the sound its' really a Cirrus Jet !

    Hey Colin, your description says this is a SR 22T and just making a note your callouts for rotation and flap up speeds don’t match the POH. Am I misunderstanding something? Also should refer to the airport as non-towered not uncontrolled...if using CFI knowledge.

    • @ColinPrenger
      @ColinPrenger  6 років тому +1

      Yes you are misunderstanding, Section 4 (Normal Procedures) of the POH states that rotation is 70-73 KIAS and flaps retract at 80KIAS. Not sure what POH you are looking at. Non-towered, uncontrolled, non-controlled phraseology is really just referring to the fact there is no specific controlling agency on the airfield controlling the operations of the airport. Thanks for watching!

      Colin Prenger Sorry buddy. I didn’t realize you were flying a G3 (my bad). Thought it was a G5. I was all thrown off as well by the 22T in the description and I’m pretty sure I heard you mention it is a 22TN during the flight. I’m not all up on Cirrus. Sorry about the questions if they’re annoying.

      RadarNC Older model audio panels in the older Cirrus aren’t as clear as the new ones.
