m 12 Milwaukee angle die grinder bit removal. It's an awesome tool! Please like and subscribe. M12 Die Grinder www.amazon.com... Bristle Disc www.amazon.com...
This is the exact video I needed to see. Mine came like this as well and I had the same confusions of wondering if I bought the wrong sized bits. Staring at the manual figuring I must be doing something wrong. Thanks for making this video!
Two years later and this video just saved me after hours of confusion and going to multiple hardware stores. I was asking the clerks who seemed as confused as me if there was an adapter that dropped the 1/4 inch down to 1/8. Thank you!
Hello, I had the same problem too. Thank you so much for sharing this video. I bought the tool over a year ago and wanted to use it today and realized the grinding wheel attachment would not fit. I was very lucky to find your video. You made my day!! Thanks again.
0:55 is what everyone is here for. Collet needs to be snapped inside the nut and not tightened down on top of the collet as it came from the manufacturer.
I really want to thank you for this video. I've been struggling with this for so long! It was so hard to remove and install different sanding disks or wire wheels. Once I took it apart and installed it like you did in the video its a night and day difference. Thank you!
I've never felt so dumb when I tried to get my 1/4 cutoff bit into my 1/4" grinder....I would have never guessed to try what you showed in your video and the instructions did not help me at all to figure it out...great vid
This spindle/collet system is mocking the ER machine collet system. The nut forces the shoulder of the collet into the taper and makes a connection unlike older collet systems that rely on the nut for security. So the nut on the ER system is tight on the spindle nose but it’s primary purpose is to seat/unseat the collet from the spindle which is an independent connection from the nut.
Cause straight up, all die grinders re like this. Just loosen the nut and tap it with your supplied wrench. It shocks the tapered collect loose. Every air/electric die grinder is the same.
I cant believe this video is still helping people a year later. GEEZ Milwaukee...you would think they would install it correctly. Saved me. Thanks.
Anytime buddy

same thing happen to me too. thanks for sharing
Hello I have the same issue where it doesn’t fit I would need what part ? To make it fit ?
Cause straight up, all die grinders re like this. Just loosen the nut and tap it with your supplied wrench. It shocks the tapered collect loose. Every air/electric die grinder is the same.
None of my air grinders are like that
Thanks
What size are the little wrenches
I have the nut off and the bit still won’t come out I’m furious any tips?
I had to use good pliers and twist it
I tried for 3 hours and accidentally broke it, now they say they won’t warranty it so I just ripped it in half and now I have to buy a new one
@@richardlarson5886 take pictures and email them to Milwaukee and explain what happened
if you put a grinder bit from another the problem is fixed😂
This video does not need to be 6 minutes
This is one of those things I hate guys that do tool reviews don't go over and act like it's something everyone will figure out right away
Took forever for me to figure out lol
I watched this video to learn how to take that collet thing out and didn't even show me how to take it out. Wtf
It just comes out. If it's stuck, that's another problem
@@brianstechtips5721 figured it out from someone else.
