I was fortunate to work with Duncan Regehr (ZORRO / DIEGO) as the title character in a film I wrote, 'THE BANKER' (1989) ... For the record, Duncan Regehr was / IS ... truly... the highest meaning of a true gentleman, a talented actor & that rare kind of insightful artist who's body of work causes one to want to know more of the piece and its very soul. Nice video. I agree. I didn't like the ending either. Bummer! I saw that movie Princess Bride. Good movie. That character reminded me of Zorro with the black mask and suit. Thanks for making this. :-)
I wonder in the series did he ever take off his mask like he promised Victoria. I know the old Al Contia took it off before he died but did he ever keep is promise to her & I wonder if she knew who Zorro really was the whole time.
A little obvious since he loved only her and he has a third great-granddaughter. I think the Alcalde got what he deserved for all his sins. The possibility that Victoria knew I doubt because of her reactions to situations.
Being a fan of this series duncsn reghere kept his identity as zorro hidden from the whole pueblo it was only his sidekick philipe who knew and diego knew he could hear
Hey ! This is great. So much warmth and love in this video. It really captures the relationship between them. I am so passionate about this show, this character and would love to write Zorro. I recently finished watching Zorro 1990 and since it essentially ended on a cliffhanger. I would be interested in pitching an animated film staring Duncan to finish the show off. I would love to hear your thoughts.
Victoria and Zorro did become engaged in the episode "Affair to Remember". However, the series ended before she found out he was Zorro. The show actually ended on a bit of cliff hanger where it looked like Diego might be ready to tell the truth, but instead says that he wants to adopt Felipe, and then Don Alejandro asks a leading question but the episode ends before Diego answers. It's actually quite frustrating.
Sonia Sorania They kiss in multiple episodes, but if you're referring to the thumbnail picture, that is "A Woman Scorned" near the end. Their first kiss is at the end of "Broken Heart, Broken Mask." There's a fantasy kiss in "An Explosive Situation" and real kisses in "A New Lease on Love," "Wicked, Wicked Zorro," "Ultimate Justice," "Love Potion Number 9," and "An Affair to Remember."
