    I feel like this new gadget still needs a little more polishing, and there is much more space for improvement along the way.
    For example:
    1. Allowing users to sync their account with the machine
    2. Further improving the recipe system
    3. To create and foster the community for recipe
    4. Allowing users to adjust the recipe and/or add their own recipe to the system
    5. Improving their wifi weakness, we can see the visible slow response when browsing the recipe menu.
    The main idea here to the path of success; I think it's all about the forming of a global community with this product ecosystem. In that way, this company can continuously grow their company together with its growing community size. This gadget is still kind of too new; it needs a bit more time to be mature enough to push to the global market.

      Do you have any experience with the Thermomix, and how would you compare the two? Thanks

      Too bad trying to connect it to your Wi-Fi is such a NIGHTMARE!!
      I really wanted to love this machine, I really did, but the Wi-Fi issues have caused me to send it back and fork out the money for a thermomix. Even with tokit "support" they could not get it to connect. This is a frequently reported problem with the tokit.

      @@adiands850 The Thermomix comes with a huge user base for support, endless recipes that are all very refined with no mistakes. I personally have yet to hear anyone saying what came out was bad. And for many recipes, you literally do not even need to have experience with cooking That is how refined the machine is. It is not only the device you are buying, but the entire system which just works, since they doing it for so long already.
      But ... I find it vastly overpriced.
      The Omnicook needs urgently a storage for the own recipes, or a facility to modify the existing ones, since it is not that perfect, as I gather. But for the price?

    For anyone thinking about getting one of these machines, think again. I bought one late last year, it's faulty and I've been trying to get them to deal with the issue since January! My machine is under warranty and their customer service does not respond. Buyers beware!

      @@danboy3818 Honestly, even with the posts on social media, Tokit is still ignoring my issues. If I were you, I would not risk such a large investment with a company that does not honour it's warranty or respect its customers.

    For the crunchy carrot, it's probably just a cultural difference. In Chinese cuisine, we don't want vegetables to be "overcooked" so I think the preference for doneness often differs between Asia and Europe. And actually that slight hint of its Asian background of the TOKIT in the recipe database and design is a draw for me. From the videos I've watched, it looks like they wanted it to be able to stir fry better than the Thermomix so the temp goes up higher and the base of the bowl is wider for more contact with the hot surface. I have Chinese heritage but born and raised in Canada, and I think a lot of people would have less trouble with their kids eating vegetables if they cooked them a bit less. There's the two extremes of raw and cooked to death that Chinese cuisine doesn't do as much. Having said that, I actually do enjoy a super soft carrot sometimes, say with butter next to a turkey dinner or in an oxtail soup. Great detailed review. I like how you tested that the scale would work with any container. I'd be all about crushed ice drinks.

      Great points. Also, I bought a blender just to make crushed ice mojitos, so I can totally relate to that.

      As a westerner who grew up in a household of boiled mushy vegetables , Asia definitely knows how to prepare vegetables better.

    Hi, Tina! Do you think an appliance like that is missing the slicing function? For example, I would still have to use a kitchen robot or a knife to slice carrots. Or do you think the ones that have the slicing function are less efficient in the other functions?

    I bought it. Is a pity that they don't sell a set of blades and whisk or a stronger whisk so we could make like ice-cream but with only frozen fruits and a bit of soya "milk". I have to use my Vitamix blender to do that witch is to noisy when at night.

    Is it possibel to cook without the blade is turning?
    Can i do turbo if the Material is hot inside?
    Is the bowl made for dishwasher?

    • @adiands850
      @adiands850 2 роки тому +1

      I don't have one but some of your questions are answered in other UA-cam videos. Apparently the blade always turns on the TOKIT. So if you want to do something like boiling eggs, it's best to purchase the blade protector accessory. The bowl can be put in the dishwasher. I'm not sure about the turbo question.

    • @HTMLguruLady2
      @HTMLguruLady2 Рік тому

      Just like the thermomix, the blade always turns. However, Tokit offers a blade cover that sits above the blade so that you can do what you need to do without the blade touching the food

    when you mentioned it is dishwasher safe but the "mixing bowl and blade set should not be soaked in water", what does that mean? How do you put those in the dishwasher if you don't want them to get soaked in water? I assume the mixing bowl is like 90% of what you want to wash? So if you can't put the bowl in water then what can you put in the dishwasher?

    "Exotic to Westerners"?
    If it ain't a Pop-Tart dipped in ranch dressing, I want nothin' to do with it 😁
    This seems like a great idea in theory, but still has some issues to work out before it will live up to its claims. Still neat, though.

    With fuel going up, food going up in prices and you want people to do without food to purchase this item. People do that then it sits on the counter until food can be purchased, for me that would be about 9 months.

    It's a real shame that TOKIT overcharges customers in Europe. It's currently only $900 in the Taiwan and the US, but a staggering $1250 in Europe.
