      What exactly was needed to fix this? I currently have the same issue where I will run out of bb’s but my bolt won’t lock back on the last shot or for anymore after, it would just keep dry firing. Help would be greatly appreciated

    I have relatively the SAME problem. But my issues seems to be with the hop rubber and not the disconnector. The disconnector has zero to do with the issue unless its broken. The nozzle doesnt go in as far as it should by about 1MM. That 1mm makes a big difference between the cycling. If I push it manually forcing to deform the hop rubber it will cycle. The sealing lip is too small to allow the nozzle to seat inside completely. NowI havre to make a decision...alter the bucking by dremeling the sealing lip or sand down the nozzle tip to a taper. Now heres the difference mine is a 2008 KSC JAPAN model. My gas system is also pre sys 7 and ns2...so no return springs. FYI, KIC airsoft has your parts in Hong Kong and they take about 2 weeks to get here. I just ordered some 2 weeks ago and they got here this week. Nice to know that we are using the SAME materials for our troubleshooting helps me to prove my theory.

      Recently just posted another stream - at the end of the day the hop up rubbers seem to be particularly vulnerable to swelling due to silicone oil. A replacement of the hop up rubber completely fixed my MP9 and I'm going to keep a spare in my parts kit so I can field repair.

      @@aonomus so...the solution is this...get some black rtv sealant...and some ptfe tape..smooth on a thin layer of rtv sealant on the feed end of the hop rubber..wrap it with 3 layers of ptfe tape..the rtv sealant will stiffen up the end of the hop rubber and the ptfe tape will provide the structure to keep the hop rubber from deforming. And stop using silicone oil green gas...silicone destroys the structure of the hop rubber. Ksc hop rubber is crap! My customer used it after I told him to stop using it..the same problem occured again. Cleaned the hop rubber used rtv sealant with ptfe tape. The gun cycles perfectly again

    I’ve encountered an issue with my mp9 where the gun cycles but will only fire every other BB in the mag.
    I originally replaced the main seal since it broke, then I replaced the nozzle and glued the return springs in place so they couldn’t come off. Since I’ve repaired the gun, it only works half the time and I’m not sure why. It will only shoot every other BB.
    Other times, it won’t shoot at all and I have to reset the hammer manually by pulling and releasing the charging handle. Then it goes back to firing every other shot.
    I checked my disconnecter and nozzle and don’t see any issues. I’m thinking it’s either the magazine, jet valve or jet valve spring. Have you ran into this or have any idea what the issue could be?

    • @f0xtr0t540
      @f0xtr0t540 Рік тому

      As an update, I think I found the issue but am unsure of how to fix it. I filmed the gun shooting in slow motion, and saw that the cylinder is sticking to the hop up bucking. I tried putting silicone oil on the cylinder head and the intermittent firing still occurs though.
      I have a new oem bucking and magazine on the way, hopefully the issue lies in one of those.

    • @aonomus
      @aonomus  4 роки тому

      I do not have the CQB bolt currently (though it's on order). Local CQB field permits 380fps.
      Bigger issue is the hop up absorbing silicone oil and deforming....

    Just bought a KMP9 off eBay and I ’m having an issue where I rack the slide, and when I pull the trigger, the hammer doesn’t seem to drop. This potentially a problem with the disconnecter? And if so, happen to know where I can find that part online?

      Ended up picking up a spare disconnecter from Evike and swapped out the older disconnecter with the replacement. My issue no longer occurs and the trigger now resets 👌🏽

      Definitely something to consider, it was on my list of upgrades for the MP9, but limited funds budgeted for airsoft, followed by COVID. Maybe some time in the future? I'd love to get a look at one and take it to bits for critique and analysis too.

      Have you checked for any stray BBs that might be trapped, possibly in the bolt, behind the air nozzle?
      I've had that happen for one of my GBBPs, causing it to lock up and be impossibly hard to disassemble.

    when my mp9 is on semi auto it sometimes trapse a bb inside the barrel. whta should i do

    • @aonomus
      @aonomus  3 роки тому

      If you aren't already, always use quality BBs. Generally a good idea to clear the airsoft gun of gas and bbs, and inspect with a light. Use an unjamming rod to get the BB out, not a screwdriver or other metal items that would scratch the barrel. Then check for any dust/debris that need to be cleaned out.
      This happens even with quality BBs sometimes, a BB might get split inside the barrel and jam badly, but poor quality BBs that aren't polished will damage the barrel and jam frequently.

    Hi mate ! You got any social Media account with direct message system? I'd love to exchange my issues with you and perhaps solve my issue.
    Mine let's out all the gas on first shot, I've just now completely disassembled, cleaned and lubed but no effect, vavle knocker seems fine ? I come from building custom hi capas from scratch, but the mp9 Is something on it's own regarding valve knocker i see.

    • @aonomus
      @aonomus  2 роки тому +1

      Every time I've had issues with the MP9, it really seems to be to do with the integrity of the hop up rubber. If it's swollen due to silicone oil (it really likes to stay bone dry) then the nozzle will not hold a seal with it. Without a good seal inadequate pressure is built up and the bolt fails to cycle back, leading to the striker hanging on the valve. Try checking the hop up rubber and see if it's in good shape or not, you might need to pull it apart more but looks can be deceiving.
      Also the nozzle return springs on KWA MP9s are notorious for snapping too which can cause other issues.
