Ana, when I hit 3000 hours I became disappointed in myself and dramatically cut back on my 'time investment strategy' and found other more productive things to do, so I decided to make a game rather than play someone else's. But hat tip to you. By now you must know literally everything. In case you missed this one, no spoiler, go to a little island top corner of G6. Climb to the top find some timber hanging over the edge. Go and try that new diving thing off the wooden overhang and see what happens ;).
Is it weird how much... comfort I derive from watching these playthroughs? I've taken to having them on in the background while I fall asleep. Better then rain sounds. Not implying they're a bore, quite the opposite. If Anabriella did audiobooks I'd fall asleep to that. You know, incase that was a thing considered.
@DanBowie You obviously have never listened to the devs when they talk about it being more than just PvP. Case in point, directly from the Steam store page. "Conan Exiles can be played in full single-player, co-op, or persistent online multiplayer."
Changing light might be a result of shadows in the moon/star light algorithm so even after changing darkness in general the light due to shadowing should still impact in varying locations.
So glad you're doing this series! Siptah is such an unknown for me, and there really aren't many quality playthroughs. Kudos! Also, what is the mod that gives you stat details when hovering over food? That's so useful to see how each food will affect the thrall :)
I have not played as many hours as you but i know that "order to move" is broken when a follower is already in combat. Has been since i bought the game almost 2 years ago. Only thing that works is return. For "order to move" to work all the time you have to set the follower to attack nothing. If you must set it to defend me then set attack distance to the shortest, and follow distance to the shortest. Special if you want them, to teleport up/down faster.
Invisible animals makes life more fun. You hear a roar and just wait... you don't know the direction until the hit comes in, and you don't know what it is as all the roars sound similar. Seriously, it is actually fun. Conan has no challenge without PVP so this is good. Whats not good? I ended up deleting the Turanian caravan Rhino as it was making it hard to build. It was also kind of hard to use. Invisible animals have been on siptah for umm... at least a year. Maybe longer it just feels like they were always like that. It started off as the furry rhino's.. I remember what they looked like so it must not have been since launch. Recently I started noticing extra things have gone invisible. Something one skulled down at volcano too.
Yep.. when age of sorcery came out siptah was a mess on xbox and my first time in siptah my first few deaths were due to a invisible elite mountain lion.. fun times..
@@Anabriella I haven't playd for some time but it did get a lot better after some time amd updates tho the invisible enemies never went totally away.. I was going to redownload for age of war chapter 3 cause I really love the game amd had that Conan itch for some time now but I have not seen nor heard too many good things about the state of the game as of the chapter3 launch so I'm gonna have to wait a bit longer..
Out of curiosity I decided to try and figure out what unit of weight measurement they are using based on your saying that a horse is 50 units of weight. An average horse can be anywhere from 900-1400 pounds. If they used stone as their unit of measurement then 50 stone would be 700 pounds. It is possible, but it would be a pretty light horse. Then the next one is a quarterweight, but 50 quarterweight would be almost 1500 pounds. So again, possible but it would be a rather heavy horse. I am leaning more to the stone than the quarterweight. I cannot find a unit of measurement in between those two though.
it is because Funcom is probably an American owned company. So they use pounds for measurement. And this is also a game where you can kill a rock with your bare hands so...
@@Anabriella well still i think they do use pounds for measurement. In the future if people wanted they could change the weights for animals and thralls you carry, cats are already are like whut 5 pounds.
The lighting issues are driving me nuts, it goes from impossible to see... next time your their... its about what you might expect... sometimes re-entering a dungeon fixes lights, sometimes not... sometimes logging out, sometimes not... You bring torches and they barely help, sometimes they are amazing... all in the same places, no mods on public and private servers... Night time and dark caves and dungeons are just wacked out. Has anyone else had this issue or have they addressed this?
I had this issue a few patches on ago on The Exiled Lands. I have a UA-cam Short showing how ridiculously dark it is in the Volcano. It happened in other dungeons too. I thought that was fixed though. I found I had to enter the dungeon in the day time - though they're not supposed to be affected by the day-night cycle o.O
Great video, just a shame you encountered the bugs the Console Servers have had for months. You really did choose a very dangerous place to build as a low level character 😂😊
I've just recently run into a lot of bug problems on Siptah when trying to save running local on PS4. It will lock up and not everything ends up in the save file, so when I restart, things are missing. It hadn't been a problem until about a week ago. I've lost several benches including all contents, significant progress and something really strange the last time, my thrall who was level 15 somehow lost their 2nd perk. I'm curious to see if it comes back when I hit level 20 and they get the final perk.
@@Anabriella yep. I don’t know if it would happen if I had a hosted server but i deleted the game last night and redownloaded. I’m hoping that might fix it because pulling the save back down from the cloud is the only saving grace I have. You had mentioned Siptah being bugged but I haven’t gone back to my Exiled save to see if that’s affected too.
1:54:59 I'm not entirely sure what it is, but i think messing with the admin panel for some reason will eventually bug your game and crash it every couple of minutes It could of been because i was spawning stuff into the exiles lands that aren't normal there (like siptah creatures and gear) or if its just using god mode, flying mode and etc

Chickens already come with breasts and thighs, so no sexy chicken mods are necessary in Conan. Lol My only play through on Siptah (still on going) I built down in the Isle of Dawn wear the giant bones are on two plateaus, my only maga build, I has Empire on Siptah.
I see it quite a bit, but how is the camera so far back from your character?? I just got this for p c when i switched from console and its still the same camera angle? Is it a mod or a setting i havent found yet?

I found that you can increase Gamma to see a little in the dark
It doesn't do much, just washes it out
Instead of 2x resources I increase the respawn rate that way I dont get weighed down harvesting just one or two nodes .
I like to track rates, but that is also an option 👍

This is a rendering issue acknowledged by Funcom. They're planning to fix it by next patch on the live game

There's an fov slider in video settings. There is such a noticeable difference when you switch from console 👍

As fast as they charge attack and hitting so much harder now You dont have much chance with no armor early game
I've killed them a bunch of times in the past with no armour, stone daggers (even though they don't bleed). They're just too resistant 👀
