I watched the entire 2-3 hour show with this woman. When she did her little “ trance episode “. She was and DID throw in a ‘plug’ for her house/business using her alleged “ husband’s voice “. I think it WAS her preference to have it included for hopeful further business. Saying things like “ I hope you can keep this open w donations etc. Thanks Mr Grey-8. As a therapist, I absolutely agree with your take on that video and that woman. Watched SEGs video yesterday and got a bit of the ick from that part as well.
And yes, a lot of these locations are just a money grab. I feel terrible for the families of these people watching teams to in there and "connect" with the lost family members. It's gross.

I work in crises management and I do worry about the folk I work with on social media. For so many reasons. Regular life can be hard enough to navigate. Part of the reason I support debunking. Debunkers are consistently sensitive to who may be used/sensationalized and care.
That would be when it goes well a wonderful job, in Tasmania Australia where I am I work with the NDES, I'm not sure where else they are, but I have 3 support workers I'd be lost without, just reading how some people speak to youtubers or people online anywhere breaks my heart, and seeing women like that woman possibly building a fantasy world to live in terrifies me, I could never encourage that. Thank you for what you do, it's so very very important 🥲🙂✌️🐨🦘.
I saw that news report the other day, it's disgusting; they even said the chair with the stains on was the one the step father passed away in, which was total crap. The son and daughter said all the furniture in the house wasn't theirs, but what the team brought in. Deep breaths Dan, nearly half way through the week. 😊

Watched his video and it was painful to watch her grieving and anyone with a ounce of respect would have not shared that on social media but these ghost hunters will do anything for views.

Well said, there seems to be a new so called haunted house popping up every week. What , you wouldn't spend £400 to stay in a 1950's council house just to hear the neighbour bang on the walls or get messages through yout ghost phone app (Apparantly ghosts are well versed with blu tooth and wi-fi protocols.)

i saw an ad on youtube today promoting the conjuring house. it says something like you can come and experience yada yada and stay for one night or more...yada yada. im not exactly sure howit was promoted now but i thought to myself they must be hurting for money if they are promoting it now. its the first ive heard just anyone could go.
I think you should watch the entire video or the entire reaction side eye guy did if you havent. From what i seen on side eye guys reaction it didnt strike me as grieving as much as promotion of her buisness. That is just my opinion but i think itd be worth tou checking out the whole thing

Never heard of its channel. BUT i couldn't watch anymore. Reminds me of most haunted etc when someone misses their husband or parents. I think these people need grief counseling, I AM currently receiving grief counseling for someone who is still alive.. i think its called ambiguous grief.. it means I'm grieving for a parent who is alive.

As I wrote on SEG's video comment section... it's extremely uncomfortable to watch. It might have been better of Paranormal Files if they left this part out, surely more respectful. And yes, they use "demon" as clickbait and to play the algorithm, he should acknowledge it.
And this house story is just ridiculous, it's so disrgraceful, hopefully the new owners are proud of making money on recently deceased people, that's about the same business grave robbers are in. No wonder this raises your ire.

Let's ask this one last question. can they prove that it is not haunted? I know it sounds like I am being naive but someone did die there tragically, and do you really want someone living there after that... it seems to me such a place should be torn down and something different built... I do agree that people calling out for the spirits in that house as the the previous owners of the house but ask yourself this, when you go into a home as an investigator isn't the first thing you are going to think of is paying your respect to the people who who owned the home? Just because you die away from your home don't mean you have to stay where you die... that might just be me over thinking things but if I died and I wasn't at home, I would at least go home, maybe sleep it off... Can that family prove that the place is not haunted? Maybe all investigations should be just debunking places that are allegedly haunted... instead of going in to prove a place is haunted we go in to prove it is not haunted... gather teams together and investigate from outside of the home on remote cameras... sorry I am trying to silence your storm for you... ❤❤❤
The thing is though, whether they think the place is haunted or not. No team should never go to a place and call out in the hopes that the ghost of someone very very recent and with the relatives knowing about it, its a respect thing for me.
You can't expect every house in which someone has passed away to be tore down! Folk die in their homes everyday and it would cost a fortune to keep building new homes everytime. I lived in a home where the old tenant died in, it wasn't haunted. Plus it was a ground floor flat in a four in a block so it would be impossible to knock the place down.
PF has always been respectful and is a fun channel, albeit making zero effort to debunk clearly overblown nonsense. The woman in the episodes husband made the device and several others specifically for her to contact him after death as he knew his death was coming for some time. She was channeling his spirit in this session (allegedly). Also manages to plug her location and the devices he made during said session. PF wasn't at fault for this one. It had also been some time since the man had died.
If anything, the Foreman Brothers are the predatory, disrespectful, carnivorous disgraces who purposefully seek out vulnerable people who truly believe what they are asking for help with.

There is no wrong nor right way to mourn. She is not hurting anymore especially not herself. She is knee deep into her spirituality. Let her be, don't be so judgemental because she copes differently than most would. Because it doesn't mean it's unhealthy. On the contrary she could most definitely feel the energy she remembers as her husband. Just like anyone can remember how another made or makes them feel. If it helps her what's the issue? She isn't bothered by it being filmed nor released. That's all that matters.

So I “like” paranormal files. It’s really stupid and the videos are LONG so I nap on the couch while playing it on the tv. Typically when I wake up, YT plays another episode and you can’t tell the difference.
But then boyfriend came to Chicago. I had to watch it. For Chicago kids of my generation, our history is drilled into us. Chicagoans are kind of protective about our history. So imagine my reaction when he got absolutely EVERYTHING wrong about the location the history. Everything. The real annoying thing about anyone not from here is when they come they bring up Al Capone. Probably the most boring aspect of our history. So I knew he would bring up old Al. What I didn’t realize is that he would get that wrong too. He stayed at a hotel that no one stays at, not because it is haunted, because it’s OLD and overpriced and is like a transient hotel. It’s really awful. I mean it’s pretty in a kind of gilded age way. But you wouldn’t want to book your boss in there.
Well I lost it. I was going to read him the riot act. You can’t screw with my beloved home. I was even going to make a response video and point out all the errors and out and out lies. Was even going to include you and Beardo.
Then I realized. It’s fucking UA-cam and made a salad.
Paranormal files is just utter crap. I’m sure boyfriend is very nice and I wish him the best. I saw side eye’s video up until his awful theme song. Side note: that song drives me crazy. It’s such an ear worm and that line “with a wink and a smile he’ll make you feel alive”. Seriously? Ugh. I can take only so much. Anyway, you’re right about that poor woman. Grief is horrible. I wish her health and peace.

I agree that seeing the woman in that manner is gut wrenching. As someone who lost both parents (mom 2013 and dad 2015) I totally get how she feels. They say it gets easier over time....for me not so much.
For Willows Weep, Dave Spinks bought it, yes. I use to moderate for his youtube channel whenever he did live streams for investigations. Dave Spinks is an AWESOME paranormal investigator. He did investigations there including live streams and honestly there was a lot of weird things that happened when no one was in the house. Saw shadows that weren't from anyone around and other things.
I just know what I've seen but yeah Dave Spink is an upstanding good Paranormal Investigator. He wouldn't make up bullshit for his investigations or investigations in general. He actually hates fakers like you and all of the other debunkers.
Colin deserves support for his sobriety but it doesn’t, IMHO, give him a free pass for everything he does. All the screeching about DEMONS and being bitten, scratched, etc…it’s so dodgy. He is on record as saying he didn’t believe in demons some time back and now he uses it as total clickbait. I watched PF for ages and I think Colin has had real and profound struggles and his family have rallied around the whole paranormal schtick as a way to support him. But now it’s gone too far.
One thing I still like about the shows are the full-length tours as they showcase some truly amazing tour guides, who are often volunteers. But then once Colin gets going, it’s the same old routine time and time again: treat simple phone apps like every word is 100% factual, holler, gasp, shout DUDE, start whaling on about demons and then, sigh… an Estes session. Anyone else notice the ridiculous goblin voice they started programming the apps to use?
It’s gutting because Colin has so much style and ability as a film-maker, but he’s painted himself into a corner with the paranormal niche and needs it to be real, when it’s simply not. I’d much prefer him to move into something like historical film making, true crime explorations, etc, as he does that in his podcast with Courtney. I can’t imagine it’s fun to go into one genre and then have it affect you so that you start to distort the truth, churn out clickbait, etc. But it’s not fair either for him to exploit others in order to bolster himself. It like he started pushing the demon narrative and now he can’t stop…but he needs to try. It’s become egregious and I don’t know how on Earth he can defend leaving that awful footage of Heidi in the video.
Ultimately, I agree so much with your statement: he may well seem like a nice bloke, and all sobriety needs supported, but none of that justifies what he does. I just hope he can see the light and rein in all in.

I didnt really choose to watch this, UA-cam sent it to me as something of interest so I clicked on it.The women knew what was filmed would be aired and agreed to it by charging the team who filmed it. If it didn't bother her, why should it bother you, and if it does, just change the channel and don't watch. You sir are also making money off your channel by showing and discussing it, so what does that say about you. As far as the families of the supposed spirits these tv show teams contact taking issue with it, I agree, that is disrespectful of the teams. These are TV shows and either you can watch for the entertainment factor and not take it too seriously or just change the channel and stop watching. Even the channel news that reported on it made money off that clip. Doing shows about the paranormal, especially if there is a demon envolved sells. What does that say about our society. I watch because I lost someone dear to me and would like to believe I will see him again and these shows, no matter how ridiculous it may be too others, gives me some hope of that. Why do you watch?
