All four of the Squatches at my house looked up from their crosswords and tea and strangled out a set of long low fartages after Greg did his Sasquatch call. Success.
I remember thinking “how on Earth did they convince the Newkirks to take Jeff Bigfoot hunting” when I saw the preview for the episode on Disney plus. Today reminded me how: Goldblum is truly a magical being! Such a fun episode.
My dad made me watch the fly when I was 5 and hadn't seen any kind of sci-fi horror movies like that yet. I wasn't allowed to hide either, lol. He wanted brave kids 🤷 I look forward to these podcasts so much! Love you guys!
My fiancé works at a mortuary and worked for body transport before that. This man has held human gore (one dude got smeared by a train) in his hands and STILL couldn't get through "The Fly".
My husband teaches high school and one of his students, who happens to live at the opposite end of our maybe 200 yard road, came to class looking out of sorts. My husband asked him what was up. The kid asked if we heard anything weird the night before. We live on a swamp in southern Alabama, so lots of wildlife sounds to hear. My husband said no. Then kid looked terrified and said he heard and ungodly blood curdling scream the night before. He said it sounded very close and he had never heard it before. My husband started laughing and told him about our neighbor's new donkey that did not make normal donkey sounds, instead screams like a woman being murdered.
I nearly fell off the couch when Connor sniffed the Squatch Funk. Also, when Greg made the squatch call, my cat flicked her ears but decided she was too tired to react.
Thanks so much for sharing the details of the Jeff Goldblum experience. I was so psyched that you guys got this opportunity so its really cool that you made this into an episode.
Working long hours every week in a mainly-admin job that deals with super unpleasant / heavy content, I tend to listen to (or watch on a spare screen) a lot of podcasts. You guys have so quickly become one of the ones out of the 50+ i'm subscribed to that I count down the days for. Each episode is so informative and fun. I built a pretty strong parasocial bond with you all (sorry! ahah) binging Hellier while I was fighting off the reaper during my first round of covid, and this series has been like coming home. Now the wait for the next episode begins again!
Having seen Jeff Goldblum in interviews and other off the cuff discussions, I've always loved how his mind ping-pongs around as though he's trying to holistically connect everything. Intelligent and somehow organized chaos, the man is like a jazz solo made flesh.
I love Jeff Goldblum. When he was married to Geena Davis, I thought no other couple in the world were better suited and that wasn’t something I usually had an opinion on. My first film was Transylvania 6-5000. That movie is the best. Timeless. Anyway, I loved the episode. I was sad Greg didn’t have his crazy cryptozoologist hat on. Thank y’all for bringing the weird to the world in such an accessible way. Keelin definitely got the welcome wagon. Here, smell this. Top marks for sure. 🤢
I live in a rainforest in Australia. I have a Bigfoot encounter story and photos of the foot prints to prove it. All I’ll say is I agree, Bigfoot does know. Oh. and the smell is REAL. Particularly the foul & burnt hair/electrical part.
Vibes. 1988. Goldblum, Cyndi Lauper, Peter Falk, Julian Sands (who is currently missing in the Sierras 😟). It's silly. It's fun. It's an adventure in the Andes. Psychics, transmediums, a pyramid, ancient artifacts, a hint of ancient aliens,...
Aside from the fact that you all take a fantastic, critical, and holistic approach to everything, you are also all hilarious people. It's so nice to have fun with the paranormal from time to time. There is real joy here and I love it. ❤
I wonder if those 'Sasquatch pheromones' would reverse my Covid-sourced brain damage where my sense of smell is muted to near-nothing and my sense of taste is non-existent?
I'm sure you guys already know about him, but some of the best work on hominids was from Lloyd Pye. It's a shame we lost him back in 2013, because he was awesome. His hominid stuff as well as his Starchild skull stuff.
I love this all the youtube / pod casts you have done have been excellent so good. I have also been listening to Strange Familiars I saw it on your t-shirt so though I would give it a go. Once again great stuff Thank YOU All
I had headphones on while I watched, and I kept an eye on my 3 cats because of the mention that animals react to the Sierra Sounds. All 3 were on my bed next to or on me, and they didn't move, but my roommates' dog was outside my closed door, down a 10ft hall with a dog gate and started growling at exactly the time it played in my headphones. My friend asked if I heard him, said she couldn't figure out what he was upset about. It's been super windy all day, could have been anything, but it was crazy timing.
Best episode yet! Thank you for awakening my inner monster. Jeff Goldblum looks awesome! I was a teen in the '70s and experienced the Bigfoot happenings as a boy scout camping in the woods in the northeast. Great job guys!
Another great episode! Thank you for creating this. I swear this podcast is the only thing that keeps me going at work. Stupid office job, I need more ghost hunting adventures of my own.
Great episode! I just watched the episode of Jeff Goldblum's show. Greg and Dana, your faces when he is attempting to make the Bigfoot calls had me cracking up. 🤣
If you haven’t checked out Goldblum in Vibes, it’s worth the watch because: 1. It occurs in an alternate reality where paranormal things are 100% dependable 100% of the time. 2. Cyndi Lauper is adorable 3. Goldblum’s girlfriend looks like Benedict Cumberland in drag. So if you’ve ever wanted to see that particular slashfic…you’re welcome.
I think that part of why Bigfoot is so enduring is because there is a cultural fascination with the wild man. Hundreds of years ago they were stories in Europe and thousands of years ago we had Enkidu. In a way we might still be looking for the same wild man even after all this time.
You guys are my heroes 🤩It's my dream in life to be able to be a full time paranormal researcher and podcaster and to be in the presence of Jeff Goldblum 🥰
Dana could you please talk about the night at the Hermitage in Ancaster when you were doing Girly Ghost Hunters please I loved watching and I would love it if you would do a reunion just for one hunt I have a few episodes on VHS!
Got big smiles from the intro with Chuck. Background was chefs kiss. As always, thank you! Yet another great and interesting episode. But … please stop hitting trees. Ouch! ✌
Independence Day rules. Ya got Jeff, Ann/Egg as a lil nugget. President Laura frakkin Roslin, pre crazy Will Smith and pre Will& Grace HCJ, Vivica dancing, either Bill Paxton or Bill Pullman aaaaand Data w/long hippie hair!! Perfection. Also the dog lives soo
My Grampa would put on the Legend of Boggy Creek for us all the time when we were little and it scared me so bad when I was a kid that even the Bigfoot hoot sounds that played in this episode creep me out lol
Oh my God yes! My mom took me to see that in the theater when I was 8 (thanks a lot, Mom) and I'm still scarred to this day. I can't use a bathroom if there's a window next to the toilet...
Truly loved this episode! It touched on some of the most interesting realms of the world of weird. Whenever you discuss Bigfoot I think of the livestream when you were at the serpent mounds.
Cameras have an IR beam to set focus distance which animals can see therefore scarring them away . Also changing sides of a cassette tape is basically the same sound of a gun racking so they may have done the Harry Holt
I am jealous of you and of Jeff. On one side, I mean… that’s Jeff Goodblum. On the other side, I would LOVE to go on an investigation with you, even if it will probably be just waiting and waiting and waiting and getting nothing. Because I would absolutely love to have a conversation and laughter while waiting. I mean, if we get anything it would be cool, but if not… indeed, what a nice life experience.
Can you imagine if the sounds that we think are bigfeets are actually something completely different and the bigfeets talk like humans that would be rather WTF 😳
49:44 Now I’m wondering what it would sound like if a person who’s native language involves clicking and other vocalizations imitated the Sierra sounds. Would they be able to imitate some of the sounds that the campers couldn’t a bit easier and be able to provide some insight as to how those sounds are made.
this show makes it so comfy to be a paranormal nerd.
I am SO glad to hear that Jeff is really Jeff… and I LOVE that he watched Hellier!!!
I want a movie where Jeff goldblum plays indrid cold
I’d watch the shit out of that
I can’t believe no one mentioned the masterpiece that is “Earth Girls are Easy”.
Quality 🔥💯😎
All four of the Squatches at my house looked up from their crosswords and tea and strangled out a set of long low fartages after Greg did his Sasquatch call. Success.
❤
I made the mistake of playing this while eating, and was so caught off guard by Conner's Bigfoot call that I nearly choked on my ramen😂
Ra men must be big
I remember thinking “how on Earth did they convince the Newkirks to take Jeff Bigfoot hunting” when I saw the preview for the episode on Disney plus. Today reminded me how: Goldblum is truly a magical being! Such a fun episode.
whenever I need cheering up, I turn to THIS episode.
Jeff Goldblum seems like such a nice guy. I will be rewatching this (absolutely brilliant) episode with my (mostly) skeptical husband tonight.
My dad made me watch the fly when I was 5 and hadn't seen any kind of sci-fi horror movies like that yet. I wasn't allowed to hide either, lol. He wanted brave kids 🤷
I look forward to these podcasts so much! Love you guys!
@@luv2luv720 Depends on the situation! 😄
My fiancé works at a mortuary and worked for body transport before that. This man has held human gore (one dude got smeared by a train) in his hands and STILL couldn't get through "The Fly".
@@megb7715 Oh my gosh, really? I guess I don't feel so bad then.

Once again, a Connor moment steals the show 🤣
100% agree that Goldblum is an Ultraterrestial!

I’m obsessed with the idea of Jeff Goldblum as Tom Bombadil now. Popped into my head, and now it’s cannon.
Having seen Jeff Goldblum in interviews and other off the cuff discussions, I've always loved how his mind ping-pongs around as though he's trying to holistically connect everything. Intelligent and somehow organized chaos, the man is like a jazz solo made flesh.
I love this description of Jeff Goldblum! Chef's kiss!

Yes Transylvania 6 5000 is a classic!
I got to watch Keelin's lecture during last Phenomenacon!! Definitely one of my favorites so I'm happy to see them on :D
Ahh, thank you!!

I live and grew up in Oregon- I totally hunted Bigfoot as a child. With a rock and piece of rope- lmao, but I was really looking! ❤ Love I guys
My cat was cleaning herself during the Bigfoot calling audio, and stopped when the "wooping" section played and stared at my phone 😶
I laughed so much when I watched the episode you were in! I love this kind of background storytelling. I have a theory: Jeff Goldblum is Pan lol
So glad there is no smell-o-vision…🦌🧸🐺❤️ i love this planet!
I wonder if those 'Sasquatch pheromones' would reverse my Covid-sourced brain damage where my sense of smell is muted to near-nothing and my sense of taste is non-existent?
The museum still needs the Assquatch cast!
Connor's Bigfoot call sounds like Bigfoot is murdering him....lol
Goldblum wrangling is a dying art. He's definitely an ET.
I'm sure you guys already know about him, but some of the best work on hominids was from Lloyd Pye. It's a shame we lost him back in 2013, because he was awesome. His hominid stuff as well as his Starchild skull stuff.
I cried a little when Dana asked if Jonathan Frakes was on Star Wars.
💔
I love this all the youtube / pod casts you have done have been excellent so good. I have also been listening to Strange Familiars I saw it on your t-shirt so though I would give it a go. Once again great stuff Thank YOU All
Have you guys considered doing a spinoff podcast that is just Connor smelling different things? His reaction was priceless.
Hearing that Jeff Goldblum watched Hellier makes me feel so validated in my life choices.
I'm not even halfway through yet and I have already almost peed myself laughing
Dana’s Big Foot vocalization sounds like a college freshman. 😂😂😂
"Any uphill, not doin it" - World's Greatest Bigfoot Hunter
Dana we are the same kind-of outdoor pepple...take me on the straight non uphillnpath please! Lol
Jeff Goldblum's Squatchknocker sounds like something that could get you demonetized. So does Jeff Goldblum's magic wand.
If you haven’t checked out Goldblum in Vibes, it’s worth the watch because:

Vibes was so cheesy but so good. Love that movie!
I haven’t had a chance to watch/listen yet, but just coming here to say that this podcast has been so incredibly good! Keep up the great work!!
Someone call an ambulance because at 13:15 *GREG* Newkirk killed me.
Great episode! According to the Legend of Big Fart it’s said on a quiet day some can still hear the echo of that fart far in the distance…
Those closing remarks were absolutely perfect. 🤞🤞🤞 Inner monster gang

My favorite podcast ♥️
I’m just here waiting for Jeff Goldblum to comment 🤩 🍿
You guys are my heroes 🤩It's my dream in life to be able to be a full time paranormal researcher and podcaster and to be in the presence of Jeff Goldblum 🥰
Connor: I took a huge one!! 🤣🤣🤣
My fav JG film nobody seems to have heard of .. Mr. Frost
Jeff Goldblum DID play an alien on Earth Girls Are Easy.
Kinda cool that he is as big of a fan of you guys as I am becoming.
Dana could you please talk about the night at the Hermitage in Ancaster when you were doing Girly Ghost Hunters please I loved watching and I would love it if you would do a reunion just for one hunt I have a few episodes on VHS!

Excellent episode. Thanks guys.
long live Jeff Newkirk
Jeff Goldblum is Indrid Cold... Canon... and Fae
Starts off laughing about farts, this is gonna be a good one.
The Fly, Jurasic Park, ID4...no one ever mentions Jeff Goldblum in Earth Girls are Easy or Vibes. Lol
A Crow even Cawed immediately after the Bigfoot knock at the beginning of this episode @6:27-@6:30
Thanks Greg and Dana, this helped
Yes 🙌 Thanks for uploading 😃
Independence Day was a great movie
Dana should go on a stand up comedy tour. She's great with the fart jokes!
Great episode!!! You guys are the BEST!!!
The tree knocks seem to be telling the other bigfoot in the area that there are people nearby and how many of them there are.
Truly loved this episode! It touched on some of the most interesting realms of the world of weird. Whenever you discuss Bigfoot I think of the livestream when you were at the serpent mounds.

I think I broke a rib laughing so hard
Way to go Keelin!
I love this episode. I was holding on to my butts the entire time 😊
Check out “The Big Chill”
Classic Jeff Goldblum.
I absolutely believe that if you mentioned them, Jeff Goldblum would respond "Ah yes, you refer to my friends Greg and Dana Newkirk!" .
I love Jeff Goldblum
Love it guys keep up the great works an wanna go on some exploring as in like Hellier or similar let's chat 👉👋👍
I met ingid goldbloom, he was dressed like ingrid Bergman, and smiling like Ingrid cold... Weird dude
Smelled amazingishly
Loved Buckaroo Banzai!!!
I smelled that through the screen! Big foot smell of vision
I'm one of the believers crew for always - but admittedly, the knock on Dana's footage sounds like a gun shot.🤷🏼♀️
It absolutely could be, but here's the weird thing: it was in Salt Fork State Park, closed at night, patrolled well, no hunting!
I never thought I'd be watching people huffing bigfoot stank but here we are
Bigfoot's Grundle is a great death metal band name.
So this weeks merchandise need, is a BigFart shirt! Excellent
Squatch. ❤❤❤
Bigfoot is the hide and seek champion.
Can you imagine if the sounds that we think are bigfeets are actually something completely different and the bigfeets talk like humans that would be rather WTF 😳
Lost it at the Goldblum Bottle!

Another amazing podcast guys!!!
Is that the First Character of the Grimorium Verum on your t-shirt? :D
