King St. Louis IX is the archetype for a Christian monarch. His words of wisdom are still to this day gems which any could be improved by heeding their guidance.

      Looking forward to
his long prophesied descendant, the holy
      Roi Henri,
Chosen and Beloved by the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
being raised to the Throne of France
      (in our lifetime, God willing)+❤🙏🕯👑

I was just in France. Visited Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle in Paris. It was... wonderful. To be there and think of this man and how synonymous they were with his life, his faith, is... deeply edifying.

You should make a video on the political situation in the Holy Land and North Africa both before and during the Crusades.

Very strange how despite his unsuccessful crusade his attackers still suffered in some way.

@realcrusadeshistory What do you think of the perceived idea of conquering Egypt, which the crusaders had adopted following the Third Crusade? Was it a mistake? Would resources put into the efforts like the 5th and 7th Crusades have been better spent into recapturing Jerusalem and strengthening the defenses of the Outremere?
