Sincere congratulations for your intelligent and clever design! Most Plunge saws are too expensive, and transforming an inexpensive circular saw was very convenient. Please could you tell us exactly which extension neumatic part did you use to lift the saw? Best wishes from Mexico.
I don't know exactly what the little shock is, but if you're talking about a gas shovel for furniture, buy it online. In Korea, everything can be obtained through online shopping.
@@carpentak I made a screen dump of this video; making a plunge saw... I was wondering what the gas shock was called and where you found it.. I will search on line with the name you mention, thank you.
This is a great idea, and would like to make one, what are the glues you used to attach the hose connection and the wood to the circular saw? Thank you.

Thank you very much for your nice comments. It's a very pleasant suggestion just by saying it. If you have a chance, please travel to Korea. You will have a really great experience.

If you can please give some suggestions from your experience using your cnc engraver. I really appreciated if you can give me some advice bro. Ty
It would be nice to organize the videos into a complete "bootstrapping your workshop" series with minimal tools. Maybe it goes something like this ... 1) First, buy a circular saw and a drill 2) Use your circular saw to build a workbench 3) Build a simple cross cut jig and stop blocks to use your workbench and circular saw as a miter bench (I'm trying to avoid buying a miter saw) 4) Use your miter bench to build a plunge saw / track guide 5) Buy a compact table saw 6) Use your table saw, miter bench, and plunge saw to build a mobile base for your table saw 7) Build a fence extension 8) Build a cross cut sled 9) Etc. Etc. Your videos aren't that far from that except you use a lot of extra tools and you use a miter saw too.
In the end of the video, what adhesive material have you used under the base for non slipping purpose ? Please share the name of material and its on line link for buying.
저렇게 하려고 쇼바 준비 했는데 역시
유툽엔 모든것이 이미 다 있다라는 말이 떠오르네요

Nice piece of engineering providing yet another excellent tool in the shop..
Easy mods for dust collection, thanks. I think the flexible "skirt" at the front helped a lot
Great "out-of-the-box" thinking. I'd never have thought of it.
Another great example of a very useful jig to make and use in any shop or garage work area.
I enjoy your shop jig videos and tablesaw improvements. I wish I could do them!
좋은 비디오, 좋은 아이디어가 있습니다. 감사합니다.

Very creative, but you needed a lot of other expensive tools to make it :D
Those saws "spit" wood like crazy. Good to see you tame that beast.
Very smart and useful, thanks for sharing.

It is a gas shock for furniture. thank you
Where to buyvthat gas shock?
I bought it at a furniture parts store.
Nice, although I would likely buy a used saw to alter instead of a nice saw.
Absolutely brilliant improvements, very clever. I like you guide very much... I have a question again, where did you find the little shock ??? 감사합니다

This is a great idea, and would like to make one, what are the glues you used to attach the hose connection and the wood to the circular saw? Thank you.
The glue that attaches the wood is Mighty Putty, a solid glue, and the hose connection is made of silicone for construction. thank you.
Great idea what is the length and capacity of the piston? Please Thank You
thank you. Length and capacity can only be found by looking. The cutting capacity of the saw is 35mm.

А что за чудесный пластилин вы используете?
그것은 하수도 배관 연결 부품입니다.
Trak you for your pro..
What would be another step to this would be to have the fixed right angle be able to pivot to fixed angles.
It would be nice to organize the videos into a complete "bootstrapping your workshop" series with minimal tools. Maybe it goes something like this ...
1) First, buy a circular saw and a drill
2) Use your circular saw to build a workbench

5) Buy a compact table saw
6) Use your table saw, miter bench, and plunge saw to build a mobile base for your table saw
7) Build a fence extension
8) Build a cross cut sled
9) Etc. Etc.
Your videos aren't that far from that except you use a lot of extra tools and you use a miter saw too.
Tell me, friend, what are the holes in the guide rail for?
The role of the hole is to mark the cutting line on the material and to see the line well when installing the rail and make it easy to set.
Genius!!!
In the end of the video, what adhesive material have you used under the base for non slipping purpose ?

It's an anti-skid tape that sticks to the stairs. I bought it at a local hardware store. You can easily find it online as well.
Ok brother.
Thanks for the quick response.
