Very helpful. Several layers of things like this are good. I have been in 2 very scary situations and I particularly worry about other women who are extra vulnerable. It can def happen to anyone! Take no chances.
@@timwarren9383 didn't have to, because i always let the landlord know before moving in my personal privacy is important. Most of them never have a problem with you changing a bedroom lock as long as you put back the original when you leave! I lock my door so they aren't responsible for my things if they go missing and i cannot blame them. Or also if i sleep naked i feel secure.
Eh but for most B&E's their tools are much less sophisticated - like screwdrivers and pry bars lol. There are ways to make sure your wifi is fairly secure. Pick a GOOD password; alphanumeric mixed case that is NO FEWER than 11 characters! Make sure you use Diffie-Hellman and AES for encryption, etc. Sincerely, a Tech
How do you stay safe in your rental? Let us know in the comments!
Why is Wyze Lock not in the description?
@@lovevideos1699 We made this video quite awhile ago, but we do have a Wyze Lock Bolt review ready to go if you want to check that out

I have the ring keyhole doorbell and echo show
Awesome! Do you ever use them together @lorna williams?
I haven’t installed them yet. I’m moving into a new apartment now and going to install them there
@@lornasvideos1 did you ever install the Ring?
Or you can just put a lock on your bedroom door to keep the snooping landlord out, plant cameras and send it to the police to press charges
Sounds like you've done that before..Did you win?,,🤣

Awesome! I am most interested in protecting while I am in the house. Any renter friendly alarm? Maybe one that sound like very angry dogs?
Now those bulbs are way more than $8
Yes but as of 8/23 Amazon has good ones for $20.
Wifi cams are not really safe. Hackers can hack.

the likelihood of some drug head that wants to break in and steal your tv having the technical skills to connect to your wifi cam is necessarily low
I got a decent little system at Home Depot online with 4 color cameras, night vision and an app for about $120 3 yrs ago.
Ever used Kangaroo security?
We have a review on their products! You can check it out on our channel. They're great standalone security for renters.
