Love the Oculus at 23:30 boppin to the beat
Thanks for the Grid Draft graphic, I love seeing the picks. Who picked first, and does the order go 1, 2, 2, 1?
power 1st, then jag 1st, then power, then jag. tanuki was a hatedraft (hence the no tanuki sign for the thumbnail mascot)
I got to see Dracogran sweep a team with his Flamebreath ultimate. I'm happy.
Dracogran is just raw power. Love to see it go off.
@@seifer447 Dracogran rarely seems to work in these high level games, but it's beautiful when it does. Dragon!!
Sorry for Jagomu. I was thinking "what are you doing !?" in the first round using quiling as an one-hit character and not a multi-hit, but at the end you adapted it.
Congratulations Jagomu! Those were some close matches.
Ucann do it!
wait was this a draft tournament ? what were the rules. this sounds so fun.
from the tourney rules doc:
"Grid Draft is a format in which the monsters with which participants can build teams are determined by a grid draft. A grid draft is performed by 2 players taking turns selecting rows or columns from four 3x3 grids of monsters randomly selected from the current 101 monster pool (without repeats).
Players take turns each taking one either row or column from each of 4 grids.
The player to pick first is chosen randomly.
The first pick from subsequent packs alternates (A then B from pack 1, then B then A from pack 2, etc)
The second player can choose a row if the first player chose a column or visa versa. If they do so, they only get the two remaining monsters from that selection
At the end of 4 packs, each player will have between 10 and 12 monsters from which to create a team.
Any team of 6 can be built from this pool. There are no restrictions on shifts or items that can be equipped, and teams can change entirely between games within a match.
One match consists of one draft between the two players, followed by the requisite number of games using monsters from those pools. A new draft will occur between each pair of players throughout the tournament."
