Tournament of Champions, Round 1: Gameslayer989 vs Rart

Welcome to round one of the Tournament of Champions, our first tournament featuring prizing. This is a previously unseen format, three team six monster standard, no bans and no repeat monsters, best of five series with forced team switching after a win. This means the players have to win with each of their three teams in the round to collect the win, so no one is coasting by with one strong team this time around.

I wonder how nautilid turn one shield for so much also how koi be hitting like a truck (I've tried to build one and it hits like a wet noodle)??? did I miss something? are these the combination of the new relics at full display?

No relics needed (or allowed to begin with). nautilid creates feedback loops with all its passives, and shields are part of that. By clicking Miracle/Arcane Shield/Fortress, it triggers the following: Shield Aura, Combo Buffing, Sorcerous Boost, Saboteur's Shield, Buffing Shield, Trickster Buffing, Copy Shield x2, Shock Support, Mystify, Hexing Support. And some of those can be enhanced further with equipment choices.
Koi benefits from all the buffs and especially extra stacks of Glory quite a bit thanks to Buff Catalyst and Glorious Spark, and has other damage boosts from Cascade, multiple Mana Procs, Charge Amplifier, Centre of Mass etc.
