Hei bud ... Thanks man , I love that one too ... I thought it might be nice to have a small redout fanboy Brake in the middle of the vid to one of the most epic tracks of redout , in my opinion tho 🤣 .. got to take my time to hang out with you guys on the discord, it has been to long ;-) Cya Florida man ❤️ XD
Thank you for this tips, they improved my driving so much, i still suck and hit many berriers but now at least I was able to win some races and actually feel like i'm making some progress
Glad it Helped ;-) ... but expect a long learning curve .. i think skilled people need something like 20 hours to properly learn the controls .. for me it took like 50 ^^ but i absolutely love the game XD
Thanks! This explains why I was struggling so much - I was primarily _steering_ rather than _strafing._ Still getting a few wall slams, but almost none of the head-on ones where you lose basically all your speed, and I'm sure the ones I do have will go away with experience. Same goes with picking up counter-strafing.
This was a super informative very well edited video! You really went through a lot of trouble to record a lot of footage to use in the different parts. Nice work!
Thanks for the awesome explanation! This should be an official tutorial. :D Nice boost pad montage and flip. :D I see now that this game can be awesome, even if the learning curve is super daunting.
Hi there, Thanks a lot ^^ yea this game is hard to learn but Suuuuper fun once you can wrap your head around it ^^ learning all the tracks is a bit daunting at first too but the Discord Community is Super nice and the game is waaaay too much fun XD Triple amount of Playtime to my 2nd most played racing game which is Dirt Rally 2 ... my best tips would be: Join the Discord XD -Focus in career on Progression and upgrade parts not on maxing out all the Stars .. -When Time Trialing do 5-10 Laps of the Race in speed events 3-5 -on all the other events .. once you start to become frustrated do something fun ^^ like backflips or tracks you like ... -and once you reach more Complicated jumps, have a lookout for the Gravitation indicator at the start of the jump and Practise the Jumps with infinite rewinds ;-)
got to say alot of this info really came in handy, glad i was able to stumble onto it before buying the game, helped get me past the rough start just that little bit easier
It wasn't until i tried the s class trials that i got frustrated enough to look up a video of the track to see what i am doing wrong that i learned i was turning incorrectly the entire time. Thank you for the videos.
well basically 90% ... Ro1 Has less grip and Bouncing against walls is less Punished ... so Bouncing out of Corners instead of Breaking is Pretty worthwhile in Ro1 i dont Know how how deep you are into the game but my best tips from the top of my head are ... At the Ship selection you can internally Upgrade your Ships ... Turbo boost seems to be #1 Active upgrade With AP, MS, and OET The Passives dependant on Ships and tracks ... But you can play complete game with Lunare stacked with Turbo boost and AP ... and if you are running for Platinums check out the leaderboards ;-) How it helped ... and my best tip would be to Join the Redout discord server if you have discord ... there are Ro1 Players with over 10 times the playtime on their Roster and they are very Likable ^^ On a Personal note ... For every normal Race so no Time attacks, Speed events ... basically everything with NPC Racers which isn't a Pure Race ... I Loved to use Asera with Turbo boost and OET ... not Meta but insanely fun to Drive IMO
Games been around for 2 years. Get it only a few weeks ago and already got to the end of career something only 2.5% of steam players have done apparently. Games easy.
This video just sold me in the need to get this game. Thanks!
@@Mr.Lunafish you're welcome, Have fun with it mate, I loved every minute of it 👌🏻
The way you built up tension with Martian Dreams and then kicked into the strafing-over-speed-pads montage is hype. Nice vid :D

I hope to see you in the Redout 2 Discord!
@@yiryi-sa7829 Yes, it's about time I joined that Discord server :)
4:20 I watched this part about ten times until I memorized it.
In practice: turn left, press the left button.
but you're seeing the right stick work too aye ?
Which is basically what this vid is about ^^
I've just reached A class, it's been awesome!
The rewind is so useful for practicing jumps.
Excellent video

Thanks for the Feedback , I appreciate it ;-) gotta go Fast^^
Thank you! Good video. Love the last lap
Came back to this to watch the outro again. Gives me the good chills, that flip is awesome with the music! :D
Thanks mate ❤️ working on pt3 at the moment but progress is slow .. by the way did you find the community easter egg in part 2?

Yeah, I was already looking at the indicator and hunting the ship parts from events before going for more stars. :) @@tairach6373

Yes it was XD but I'd recommend to everyone... do trickjumps .. gives you a better feel for airtime physics
