@@roygalaasen It's interesting to note that while his Twitter, Facebook, and Patreon accounts appear to be inactive, he still has an upkeep of $24 per video from 8 patrons. Perhaps the production costs were simply too much? Did some shadowy, ominous event occur in his life? Who knows..
Also, he states this on his Patreon page:
"I've been creating educational videos for over 5 years now. With your support, I'll hopefully be able to do it for 50! The support my fans have shown for my channel has always given me the courage to keep making the content I've always enjoyed making. Melcalc Yes, the patreon thing. Sometimes life happens, though. I know of plenty of channels that have been inactive for one and two years to suddenly spring into activity again. In one of the channels people started to discuss the fact they were receiving money from patreon and lots of people found it dubious, while another valid point was that maybe some people wanted to pay tribute for old videos as well as hoping for the channel to come back.
What I am really saying is that there is still hope!

I'm afraid he might not be posting any more videos. That's just the impression I get. He's got a lot of great content, but for some reason just didn't attract a mass audience. Sadly, he hasn't even reached 100K subscribers, which is considered the baseline for popular UA-cam channels. That alone may have gotten him down. Vsauce and Veritasium are very popular, and as far as I'm concerned, Sharkee should be just as popular. He's very underrated.

Lately, when I enter UA-cam I get a Sharkee recommendation on my home page. My hypemeter goes crazy when I see the Sharkee thumbnail. One second later, I watch the upload date and find it to be years ago. I have to unsubscribe, I don’t wanna miss you anymore.
If the universe is infinite every combination of things that could happen and will happen. In some other world, some humans got their Sharkee still doing UA-cam.
