It's crazy to me how animated the movement of these puppets are in this show. Like Snook is shown hanging upside down from branches and swinging from vines on top of dancing and jumping around, combined with the long flowing fur he has makes him feel incredibly alive.
FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE!! When I was little, I somehow thought this was the official show of Rainforest Cafe even tho I had a set of figurines of the Rainforest Cafe characters and they were totally different from this show LOL (there used to be a Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney when I was a little kid and we would make sure to go whenever we went to Disneyland. That place was the coolest)
@@kaylasilverstein4137I can see why! I grew up with this show too. I am actually going to Walt Disney World exactly a week from today. And will see if they have the Rainforest Cafe too. To see if it reminds me of this show.

I LOVE Snook! He is so cute and has the most soothing voice I have ever heard in my life. I love how ticklish he is. Seriously, they should make a Tickle Me Snook plush toy! He is adorable, and I say that he is my favorite puppet character of all time. His soft voice exudes warmth and gentleness and it calms my ruptured spirit like no other can. I really want a hug from him! Huge respect to Mr. Peter Linz. Wonderful puppeteer with a magical voice.
Because of how big Snook is, it made me think that Snook isn’t a modern day sloth which are small enough to carry in your hand and instead he’s one of those giant sloths from the Ice Age.
Waiting for videos on The Wubbulous World of Dr. Suess, The Puzzle Place, Allegra's Window, Eureeka's Castle, Dumbo's Circus, Welcome To Pooh Corner, Gullah Gullah Island, Under The Umbrella Tree, Fraggle Rock, Little Muppet Monsters, Wimzie's House, The Dark Crystal, The Muppet Show, The Noddy Shop, The Adventures Of Dudley The Dragon, Kino's Storytime, Lamb Chop's Play Along, Zoboomafoo, the puppets from the Caillou puppet segments, the Chowder puppets from Chowder, etc. 📺🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥
Oh yeah, I have had a couple of others mention Eureka's Castle but I haven't heard of the other. I am still working on finding the puppets from Eureka's Castle. 👍👍👍
Sad and fun fact about my relationship with pbs kids, I never watched it growing up, the only channel I grew up with is Treehouse, I watched shows like Max and Ruby, My little pony, the wiggles, and more. Also a little bit of Disney Junior shows like Mickey Mouse club house, Jake and the never land pirates, Little Einsteins, OSO special, and more. Except Bear and the big blue house.
This show is from the same person who gave us Bear in the Big Blue House, the Book of Pooh, and Clarissa Explains It All. It managed to capture the same charm and educational value that Bear gave us. I don’t get what happened to Oko, Wartz, Madge and Ick in the second season.
Finally found a channel that discusses this topic. I got to ask if it’s possible to make a video like this for Welcome To Pooh Corner and Dumbo’s Circus? Awesome, informative video, thank you
Hey Matt! Thank you so much for watching! I am glad that you enjoyed this video. Unfortunately, I am only currently doing videos on puppet based shows.
great video dude !! just wondering, have you ever covered anything about Ooh, Aah and You ? from playhouse disney . I've always wondered what happened to those monkey puppets . I swear they had a spin-off series aside from the shorts they had on the channel when they were the mascots where there were a bunch of other puppets and not just Ooh and Aah
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. Thank you for watching. Oh yeah, I remember those two. (One was a red monkey and the other was a blue monkey). I'll have to see what I can find out. Great suggestion! 👍👍👍
The Ooh and Ahh puppets are with the show's creator Jason Hopley. He did an interview with Scripps News 6 months ago and Ooh & Aah can be seen behind him.
I remember seeing a couple of the puppets from Dr Seuss in the documentary _Being Elmo: A Puppeteer’s journey_ I don’t know exactly where it was, but I at least saw the Grinch puppet on the shelf in some kind of workshop
@AKG animation studio productions Oh nice! Thank you for letting me know. I'll definitely have to re check out that documentary so I can take a screenshot so I can feature that puppet in the next video. Thanks again!

That is definitely a credit to the puppeteers for doing such a awesome job on bringing these characters to life. 👍👍👍
Yes, I remember watching this show on PBS Kids back around 2006-2007! 😀👍🏽 The jungle gives me Rainforest Cafe vibes.

I couldn’t agree more! I like this much better than Bear in the Big Blue House…….

The Wiggles might've been fun, but my mother HATES australian accents. She didn't want anything to do with Wiggles as a result.
That’s true Fiona from it’s a big big world sounds exactly just like treelo from bear in the big blue house 🏡.

Yep! Definitely alot of similarities between Bear in the big blue house and this show! 👍
Madge could have died of old age, and I think Ick had a bad attitude, so he was taken off.
Not sure of the other two though.
Just my guesses.
