Let's be honest, this show was a vibe, and even if the CGI and second season didn't age the best, it's still well made for the time, the lessons were done well, and the character interactions are wonderful and humorous.
Oh yeah, I saw this show a ton as a kid. As you said, it definitely isn't the worst looking show. It does the job and gets kids engaged in what they're doing in the episodes. Big Bear in the Big Blue House is much more memorable for me and I'd rather watch that any day but this is a good show on its own. Zula Patrol was pretty sick tho, definitely worth the watch haha. Thanks for your input on the show :)
OHHHHH, THIS SHOW, THIS SHOW! I never watched it much, but I always thought it was so full of energy, yet cosy at the same time. When I did watch it back in preschool, I really liked Birdette, the quetzal bird, I just looked her happy, quirky energy.
I remember playing on the website and seeing most of the episodes back in preschool and kindergarten. Wartz and Ick were my favorites. To be honest though, this feels more like a Nick Jr show than a PBS KIDS Show instead, but it's still great.
Just saying this my dude: Bear in the Big Blue House will be coming to Disney+ on October 19th...just 1 day before the show's 25th anniversary...do with that info what you feel.
I’ve seen the show a handful of times as I remember it was always on right after dragon tales at the time, I would agree that it was nothing special or memorable but fine for kids
Yeah i watched this show on analog tv before the shutdown and i just want to see analog tv again because no one is using it in the us! I bet they were advertising what a big world digital tv is to middle class americans for revenue! it just comes to show that we do live in a crazy world full of consumerism
Omg! Do I remember this show! PBS kids no-cable gang holla!
Exactly lol. In the days of analog TV and basic channels 1-11.
Same
This show was amazing, & I loved the theme song
I remember seeing this show alot as a kid. I kind of forgot that this is show existed until this video.
Not to mention that this is from the same guy who brought us Bear in the Big Blue House and Clarissa Explains It All.
This show is a classic for me. It really is a big big world after all.
In my memory I thought the background was hella realistic. Love finding these things i watched growing up and seeing what the fuck it actually was.

I loved It’s a Big Big World when I was little!
Me too! I have a crush on the fish.
I do remember this show! Birdette was my favorite character.
I know I’m probably not the only one out there who has a crush on Ick. lol.

What immediately stuck out was the puppets😂
This show was a wonderful part of my childhood.
I remember it. When I watched PBS Kids, it was one of those REALLY rare shows that came on, and stopped coming on pretty early.
So sad. Such a good show!

@@MightyGhostYT exactly! Like I said, do with that what you do (also PB&J Otter comes the same day too).
Is that for everyone?!
@@gracekim25 depends. I only know this is for the US/Canada.
@@Alphawolf2017 don’t worry the UK got it too
I remember Watching this Show on PBS Kids
Nostalgia kick.
I’m glad your back
1:48 I’m ngl, I wasn’t freaked out by JJ as a kid
I've seen worse
I thought Barney was much more freaky than that
What stuck out to me are the music, songs and puppets. Shame the show didn’t last more than 2 seasons.

I believe this didn’t reach my country 🤔 Watched and loved bear in the big blue house tho
I just knew it came.
I love this show!
Keep up the great content bro!
I have a huge crush on the fish. Lol.
When I was a kid I thought that Snooks name was Snug which kind of makes sense cuz he looks so snuggly
I do

I thought there was a reasin this gave me a Bear and the Big Blue House
I do!!!
I’m do.
Look spent his entire life in a tree so it would make sense that they would have him learn about more animals
I don’t mind learning. Is it by the bear in the big blue house people?🤩
It was made by the same creator Mitchell Kriegman

Molly McGee hates It's a Big Big World, because it's a rip-off to Bear in the Big Blue House, since she like this show better than this show.
Does she really? I don't think it's a rip-off.
